Found a room here after cancelling an unacceptable room in another business. Night manager was absolutely wonderful. Felt welcome as soon as I walked in. Very nice clean room at a great price. Enjoyed the breakfast bar! One of the best stays we have had and we are old!

Stopped here during a 15 hour drive to grab some sleep while traveling with a colleague. This terrible experience began at check in when the woman at the front desk made fun of the customer who had checked in before us. One of our rooms smelled like someone had just smoked ********* in the room. We didn't really take time to inspect our rooms but it generally felt like a cheap motel that might rent rooms by the hour. We slept for 5 hours and left. A week later an additional charge appeared on my credit card for $271. Spoke with a woman claiming to be the GM at the hotel after 3 attempts to reach her. I asked about the charge, she stated that it was an additional cleaning fee because we had left the room in horrible condition. She stated there were cigarette butts all over the room, a stench of smoke, and that the room had looked like we threw a party for teenagers. I stated that neither my colleague nor I actually do smoke, that we were professionals on a road trip, and that we were there for under 6 hours total. She stated essentially that she didn't want to hear this and hung up on me.

The deskclerk on check in was wonderful, the night one was horrible, rude, and straight out needs to be removed! We traveled all day, I am handicapped and was hurting so went done to lobby to find snack so could take pain pill. Breakfast was added to our room fee so took banana and received lecture made to show card and room number and advised I couldn’t come back in hour when opened breakfast as she wasn’t going to refill the food since I couldn’t wait even though I already explained issue to her. I don’t know how hard it is to replace 1 banana. She continued her tyrant as I waited for elevator and almost wished I would have skipped the banana and threw up all over her lobby instead! This was so uncalled for especially when price of room was over 150.00. Being ill didn’t shower or use anything but toilet and one damn banana! While packing checked under bed and beside night stand for items I may have dropped and found gobs of food, pizza, & popcorn! Also boxes and other trash (not small items either which really causes me to question how cleaning is done!) The facility appeared well kept and clean but was later obvious that was just superficial. Bed was not horrible but not comfortable either. Shower faucets dripped all night DRIP DRIP DRIP otherwise quiet and comfortable. Also important to note the breakfast I was charged for and denied other than a banana was pre-made heat and go gas station type stuff therefore clearly easy to see why she was so stressed about replacing one banana! Not a new motel, but clean. Probably in the upper middle range of Days Inn / Super 8 motels that I've stayed at. Staff is courteous, rooms are clean, and area is safe. No breakfast to speak of, but there are other hotels around where you can spend $25+ a day more for your ”free” breakfast. Right off the interstate, and there is every type of store, shop or restaurant that you can imagine within a mile or two.
