Drury Plaza Hotel Cleveland Downtown Reviews

We loved our stay at the Drury Plaza, Downtown Cleveland! The staff was all very nice. Most hotels in this area and price range didn't have a pool or spa, so the swimming area felt like a bonus! It was clean, and very enjoyable. The kick- start they offer was amazing! It was an entire dinner included in the hotel price! PLUS 3 adult beverages per adult staying! They were classic drinks, think cranbery vodka and whiskey and cokes. Breakfast was also delicious! It had a lot more to offer than just the normal hotel continental breakfast. The eating area was super clean and kept up nicely. We walked 5 minutes to the House of Blues for a concert. The walk was pretty strait forward to the Downtown area! The hotel itself was pretty clean. It's a bit out dated (no USB outlets, the plumbing is obviously old, and drained a bit slow, small tvs, old carpet) but it didn't really take away from its old time unique charm with all the marble and lighting. The beds and pillows were super comfy! My son did mention he wished he would have brought a cozy blanket, bc theirs are pretty thin. We would definitely stay in this hotel again if we are in the area! We will also look into staying at different Drury locations when on trips!

Hotel is clean and great amenities! Staff is friendly and courteous. I would recommend! I stayed at the Drury Plaza Hotel for a short getaway!

The hotel is good. I will consider staying here again next time I come to Cleveland.

Drew's store is in a great location, and it was built in 1930. You can see the history from the elevator. 1. Everyone at the front desk has a sense of white superiority, and the sense of contact is all about eye isolation. 2. Please do not stay in room 229. It is close to the front desk and the lobby is very noisy. Even in the middle of the night and early in the morning, there is noise. The old building has no sound insulation at all. 3. The room is cleaned every day, but it is just organized. 4. For the buffet in the evening, everyone should just buy something to eat.

Beautiful hotel and the staff was awesome. But the hotel it self was very dirty. Not sure if that's common in that area. We aren't from the area and for what we paid per night the experience was definitely horrible. The pool was absolutely disgusting and very cold. The hot tub was even dirtier then the pool was. The rooms weren't horrible for the most part clean but again for what you pay it could have been better. Definitely won't be staying again when we come back this summer.

The regular room we stayed in was huge. Its architecture was gorgeous and everything was clean. No one was rude and the free drinks and food at night was the cherry on top.

Amazing location fantastic rooms. Can't say enough good things about the Dury! Hillary at the front desk is a gem too!

Cool building and really wonderful staff that saw to our every need. The free dinner service and breakfast were really good with tons of options. You could tell that management lets some maintenance things slide (discoloration on walls, kind of grimey pool/hot-tub) but overall it was a really pleasant stay.

The computers were down, so we couldn’t check into our room for several hours. Once we were checked in, our shower was broken. The hotel was overbooked, so there was no other room to move into.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. I’ve never heard of a hotel offering complimentary dinner and drinks as well as breakfast. So good. Really enjoyed my stay. Staff was wonderful.

Absolutely fantastic!! Location is perfect …walkable to Rocket Mortgage Arena, Cleveland Browns stadium and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Hotel is gorgeous, staff is amazing and bed and pillows are dreamy! Free drinks and food in evening and awesome breakfast, seriously what more can you ask for?
