The service is excelent but hope they cleaning the pool every day even just cleaning the leaves falling in the pool. The breakfast was delicious but hope they have more option available.

Our stay was rather pleasanr considering the limited resources on the island. I can stay the hotel went above and beyond for all matters including stays and accomodation. There was a sense of cultural historical presence that felt genuine consider past presidents have stayed at this resort in the 80's and 90's. Will return and will highly recommend to friends and family.

What I love is the location, it is at the center. Room is just normal, if you are not particular about the room then this is recommended. the shower heater is not working when I used it. Staff are friendly and helpful.Breakfast is a Filipino breakfast. If I'll come back, I will still book this as it gives me privacy, not so crowded.

Very poor communication between hotel and guests. They don't answer to WhatsApp at all. Same with emails. Need to call directly and even than communication is poor. Great pool, nice gardens. Perfect location. Outdated rooms but all the basics you need is there. Friendly front desk, nice breakfast, have restaurant on site. Overall nice stay, but they need to improve communication methods a lot.

Great pool, perfect rooms, and the hosts were quick to respond and very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here, highly recommend!

This hotel is nearby everything - convenience store, restaurants, cafes. This building seems old tho but this is something you may want to consider if you're working within your budget.

The hotel is located in the center on the main road, within walking distance of the port, where all excursions depart. There's a pool and four sun loungers nearby, but the water is dirty and the blue tiles are stained black. Breakfast is included in the price; on several days, the buffet was meager, and one day, there was a à la carte breakfast selection. Not much, but you won't go hungry. The hotel itself and its rooms are very old and tired. Renovations are incomplete. The rooms are soundproofed because there are no proper windows. The laminate flooring is peeling or missing, the toilet and sink are cracked, and there's a hatch to the attic in the ceiling that doesn't close. Pros: pleasant and helpful staff, clean white linens and towels, shampoo, soap, and toothpaste provided, no hot water issues, large room size, price with breakfast, and location. With renovations, this hotel would be wonderful!

The staff were friendly and polite. The room was spacious enough for one person. The Wi-Fi connection was weak and difficult to understand. It can't be helped, but it's in the city, so the traffic noise is loud.

Nice courtyard with pool and garden. The staff is friendly, nearby (if you go to the right when leaving the hotel) there is a cafe for locals, which has many local dishes with good portions for 100 pesos

Stayed here for 6 days and 5 nights. Here's my review: Location: In the city center, quiet, safe, and close to many restaurants, groceries & landmarks. Price: Budget-friendly, booked our entire stay for 7k pesos only. Amenities: Pool, mini bar, restaurant, room with decent AC and hot water, and a mini garden with a designated smoking area. Staff: Friendly and accommodating. Rooms: A bit dated, but spacious and clean. Lastly, the owner is very hands-on with guest concerns and is always there to accommodate them.

Pros of this property: central location, well-maintained pool, fantastic and super helpful staff, basic breakfast included. Cons: maintenance of rooms and common areas is a bit lacking, small bathroom, and so-so cleanliness. Prices are okay for the location, but a little maintenance would definitely be worth 4 stars.

I'm sorry, I don't usually post reviews like this because we're not usually fussy, but honestly, nothing was right at this hotel, the last stop on our road trip in the Philippines. From the moment we arrived, it started badly. They didn't have our reservation, even though it was confirmed and paid for. The receptionist, who was kind and seemed genuinely sorry, tried twice to move us to a room in another hotel, but we would still have access to the pool and breakfast, which was very inconvenient. The rooms didn't meet our expectations at all (one even had a shared bathroom). So we refused this option and demanded a room right here. After a good hour, we finally got a room upstairs, just above the street, which we bitterly regretted. We didn't sleep a wink all night, even with earplugs we bought at the pharmacy. It felt like cars were driving right past the bed; there was no soundproofing and not even windows, just shutters. The room was dated, to say the least, and of dubious cleanliness, especially the pillows and mattress. There were no amenities whatsoever, not even a refrigerator to keep the water cold. The pool area itself wasn't unpleasant, but there was nowhere to sit, not even a chair. And finally, breakfast was only served every other day, when there were enough staff to prepare it. I really don't recommend this hotel, sorry again.
