The Originals City, Hotel Rey du Mont Sion, Saint-Julien-en-Genevois Sud (Inter-Hotel)

We have stayed at this hotel several times on our way from Geneva Airport to Meribel for our skiing holidays. It is convenient, comfortable, clean and quiet and the management and staff are friendly and helpful. Overall good value and we would recommend.

After a long day we got a lovely, friendly welcome. Even though the hotel didn’t have a restaurant we had a great meal and wine with a relaxed a**osphere.

We have spent 3 nights in a family room 2 adults and 2 children (16 and 13) and we have been very comfortable. The room is very comfortable. It had a tea-coffee maker and a fridge which we appreciated. We were caught by a heat wave and not having air conditioning we were very hot at night although there was a fan, it was not enough. The pool is great, with enough green areas and hammocks to be at ease. Very careful, comfortable and clean hotel. Lovely staff, thank you very much!

We stopped here for 2 nights but found the rooms very small, outdated décor and too hot, no air conditioning so did not sleep much for 2 days. Only 1 small fan was provided, we even had 2 of our own fans but still did not help. Had to sleep with the window wide open but some guests left dogs in cars that barked in the night so not great. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good value, lovely quality hams and cheese.

The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. When I asked if there might be a hiking trail nearby, the woman who was working that afternoon got out a detailed map and showed me multiple wonderful places to go right from the doorstep of the hotel. More significantly, the wonderful man who was setting up the breakfast on the day we departed was extremely responsive and kind when he understood that I had locked myself out of our room. Even though it was absolutely not his responsibility (because the front desk was not yet open, and he was just doing breakfast), he immediately helped me. Someone else on the staff set up taxis to take my husband and son to the airport. Everyone was friendly and made us feel very welcome. The bedding and towels were bright white and nice. We slept with the windows open every night and it was lovely and so peaceful - no traffic or other noise, despite how it looks on the map (because the highway nearby is actually underground at that point). The restaurant right next door is innovative and has good food and nice service as well. The setting is unbeatable - just absolutely stunningly gorgeous. A 10-20 minute walk uphill brings you to sweeping views of Geneva, Lake Geneva, and the Alps. Thank you for hosting us!

A perfect overnight stay for a couple of walkers. Lovely staff provided dinner, superb breakfast and a packed lunch for the next day, all at reasonable prices, and were welcoming and friendly. We loved it.

Perfectly located between Geneve and Annecy, the Hotel offers a very comfortable stay close to a very nice Restaurant La Clef des Champs. We finish traditionally our ski week after a Saturdaynof ski and a nice drive down the mountains on our was back home.

Confortable, clean and easy to find. Close to Geneva, interesting for stay when work or leasure in the region. Only problem the absence of terrasses to enjoy the garxen from the rooms. Breakfast could be a little bit better. Coffe machine does not make espresso, only coffee, more water than coffee.....
