(1) WHAT? Tricky? What do I mean by that?! Glad you asked.... Entry onto the property from I-85 is easy. However - exit is a bit tricky. Left hand turns out of the hotel are prohibited. Drivers must make a right hand turn, travel (an admittedly short) distance to an intersection - where either a U-turn or turn in to a shopping area parking lot - will ultimately lead east and back to major roads. (2) The building appears to have two separate unconnected parking lots, located on east and west sides. I had no idea there WAS a west side lot, until I looked at a satellite view while writing this review! Like many (most?) travelers, I pulled into the east side lot, where the entry portico is located. As far as I know, there is no driveway between the two lots. (3) There are two elevators; one at each end of every floor. Very handy, but you might get a bit confused! Neat, clean hotel with comfortable rooms/beds and lots of TV channels. Our bathroom was VERY clean. Tub/shower fixtures were new to me; it took about 30 seconds to ”crack the code” for using them. Our room had a coffee pot (does ANYONE ever use them nowadays?). (4) We were on the 4th floor. Our sealed window was located above the A/C unit (about 15 inches) above the floor, and extended to a height of about 7 feet. There is no rail or barrier of any sort on the window. This made ME very nervous - a misstep or stumble...or an energetic three year old near the window, could have a very bad conclusion! (5) Breakfast was quite nice and offered a nice selection. Hot foods during our stay included fried egg, egg & cheese omelet, and REAL actual BACON! First time I've seen bacon in three? years! Thank you, Comfort Inn. Decent coffee was available every time I went for it - which was frequently! Regarding food - there are several eateries in the shopping area across the way, but they are somewhat hidden and hard to see. NO fast food places close by. (6) We were never able to get online with the business center computer. In fairness to the staff, we never asked for help. It just wasn't worth the hassle. The hotel has a meeting room with a 40 person capacity, in case you were curious. The pool seemed to have a lot of sand (or a painted sand motif) on the bottom. Perhaps it was just being reopened for the summer..... (7) Would we stay here again? YES - absolutely.
