This is my second time staying here. The hotel is very clean and the staff is super helpful and welcoming. They were great with helping us plan our excursions. We ordered packed lunches from the restaurant and they were ready for us to take on our early morning excursions, which was great. We enjoyed a delicious milanesa sandwich on the glacier! We also kicked off every day with a great free breakfast downstairs. It's on the main road and only a few blocks away from all the main shops and restaurants. The area is very walkable. I would definitely recommend to someone!

Great location, beautiful surroundings…safe, pedestrian neighbourhood, close to shops & restaurants… Small single beds (not even twin)…clean room & bathroom…rough towels… Measly breakfast…canned fruit salad, no eggs, just bread, ham & cheese… Adequate accommodations…

Stayed here for 2 nights. While the rooms are clean and staff are pleasant the stay itself was not good. The walls are paper thin so I was woken up both mornings very early by hotel guests and staff, walking around and talking outside. The breakfast was very basic and not very enjoyable. I had breakfast in a cafe down the street on my 2nd morning. Also, I left headphones in the room and didn’t realise until I got to the airport. We had left our bags in the hotel that morning when checking out and came back later that afternoon to collect our bags. Nobody in the hotel mentioned the headphones and I had to ring and get a taxi to bring them to the airport. Wouldn’t recommend

This was a nice, simple hotel. The rooms and bathroom were spacious. If you have mobility issues, I don’t know how you can stay here because there were a lot of steps, even to just get into the front doors. We were on the first floor and there were still a lot of steps. Plus, the hallways were very long. The hotel just had a strange layout. The included breakfast was also simple. It had basic items and a small selection. The front desk was very friendly. They helped book dinner reservations, call taxis, and communicated information regarding our tours. The location was great. It was right on the main street, so most shopping and restaurants were within walking distance. The hotel was subset in a way that it wasn’t directly on the street, so you did not hear the traffic. We did have issues with the heat in the room. The bathroom was comfortable, but the bedroom was very cold. Someone from the front desk came to look at the radiator but couldn’t figure it out. Instead, he gave us an extra blanket. I would try other hotels before coming back.

We stayed at this hotel as a part of a tour, and had a great experience. The rooms are simple but clean, and overlook the lake with a sliding door leading to a small balcony. The restaurant was very nice and had a great free breakfast every morning. They also provided packed lunches if you were on a tour for 2100 Argentinian pesos ($7 Canadian) the front desk knew what tours you were going on as well as pickup times for busses, etc. There are excellent restaurants nearby and in the town centre about a 10 minute walk away. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting El Calafte.

Nice place, a very good architecture with a beautiful garden, the rooms are quiet at night, a pastry shop and a small market are located across the street. Friendly staff, good argentine standard breakfast, and Wifi available. No fridge

A basic hotel , centrally located, breakfast very basic, but convenient and staff pleasant, stop over place, very warm bit can turn radiators down, clean and no issues kept out bags over night which was helpful, limited breakfast but good enough

Superb hotel, quiet, very comfortable room, well heated, large, very clean, impeccable bedding. Professional welcome, smiling, attentive, they sent me messages every day for the next day's excursion. Very generous and varied sweet and savory breakfast with fruit. 10 minutes walk from the city center on the main street. I recommend.

DO NOT GO 1- first day, we ask for an iron at reception. They tell us that there is no key at reception (shocking for a reception) and that we will have to wait until the next day to bring it back to us. Three days in this hotel, no one brought us an iron! 2- spider web, gigantic in the room. As soon as we opened the door, I pointed it out several times. In three days, it was not cleaned (photo supporting) 3- the breakfast does not correspond at all to the photos shown on the website. Indeed there is no fresh food (fruit or vegetables), in the photos on the site, we see fresh fruit and vegetables such as tomatoes and cucumbers there was none of that in three days, there There was canned fruit available which was sour and inedible, and to top it off, there was a plastic bowl of fruit on the breakfast buffet. So only for decoration. If customers want to eat fresh fruit in the morning there is nothing. Same, I thought about it, three days, zero change. 4- they provide croissants which are very cold. So I put them on to heat and I'm going to pour myself some coffee. In the meantime I notice that my croissant has disappeared and I look around me. I don't understand so I put a croissant back to heat, the waitress comes to see me and tells me we don't heat croissants. Here I tell her that I understand however they are very cold so either he reheats them or she lets me reheat them the same, it was a battle, so she took away my croissant without coming to see me to explain why she removes it unacceptable customer service. And finally, we had a hike planned for the morning at 7:00 and I asked for coffee in my thermos, they categorically refused under the pretext that it was hotel policy, I would still like to point out that 'this is instant coffee, and I was finally able to buy some right in front of the hotel for 1€, the problem is not the money but the lack of customer service and understanding, and the same for water, in the morning I wanted to fill my thermos at the buffet. The waitress told me that it was forbidden, as long as you apologize or show understanding. When leaving, I listed all the negative points at the reception, the latter to shrug their shoulders. I guess it's just a job and she doesn't care. There is no customer service, I don't recommend it at all, there are other hotels with much more customer service for the price it's not worth it. Hotel location is on the central avenue of El Calafate. From the hotel to the center you can walk, a few minutes walk, nothing that far. The hotel is very clean, large room, cozy and bright living area, heating, hairdryer, TV, no minibar, poor breakfast, for the size of the hotel it could be much better. The hotel has many stairs to access the rooms, which makes carrying suitcases difficult. There is no elevator. The hotel does not have access for people with reduced mobility. Very polite staff. For those who are going on trekking or another trip and want to bring a snack, the hotel has a snack kit, the price of the kit can be checked at the hotel when you arrive.

Beautiful and functional hotel, comfortable rooms, good bathroom (with bidet), clean with a small balcony overlooking a very green lawn and probably Lake Argentino in the distance! Pleasant days with good and abundant breakfasts! Good service!

This hotel is simple, spacious but dated rooms, too many steps to get to the room carrying your suitcase, it has a restaurant where the food is very good, the staff is charming and I honestly liked it.
