Minos a definite Minus reception ok room dissappointing bed comfortable wardrobe space insufficient bathroom with a bath you could not use due to water shortage in Greece shower ok balcony only 2 hours of sun per day uncomfortable chairs and sliding door that could not be locked air con automatic set at a high temperature so never kicked in.the pool area was very nice and all public were clean and tidy hardly any daytime or evening entertainment Breakfast for a4 star hotel poor cereal’s quitel limited the hot food offering not even warm and tasteless the staff not very friendly,no atmosphere in the place most guests stayed 1day and moved on the location was good on the whole a disappointing stay.

Great location, near beach and old town , room lovely apart from shower we here for 5 days every day the shower leaked so bad so much water we told reception everyday nothing was done you would of thought they of change rooms for safety my husband slipped pulled handle of shower very dangerous. There’s a lot of older people who are staying here if they fell nasty accident. Just sent a cleaner to mop floor

He had an amaizing time xarola and Alexander and other girls from the bar look after us , friendly chatty really really nice staff , The location it’s perfect near the beach amaizing sunrise and sunsets Pool for kids and adults We stop at bed breakfast So was yummy and lovely lots to choose restaurants around Definitely recommend Nice entertainment too Thank you ☺️

I stayed 7 days in this hotel and everything was ok. The room was spacious and clean. We rested and although we were in a room close to the street, it was quiet and we could rest, relax. We only had breakfast and the food was always fresh and you had many kinds of food. What we didn't like: 1. they called us on the phone that was in our room - to express our opinion about the room and the hotel, (they could have waited until we checked out and we would express our opinion) and the second it was a mistake. 2. they distributed flyers to each room for a bbq party and the respective person tried to open the door if he noticed that no one answered. In conclusion, we felt very good and I recommend it with confidence.

Hotel is not what you expect from the reviews. Arrived and room not ready. Put in a temporary upgrade for one night so could not unpack. Got locked in room and had to climb over balcony. Shower leaked all over the floor. Waited all the next day for our proper room. Got room at 3pm next day. Old room view of a wall. Extremely small. room not fully cleaned every day.Food is tepid and cheap quality. Aircon not effective and goes off all the time. Fridge doesn't work well. BBQ tonight which you had to pay extra for and if you didn't you had no choice in the restaurant. No potato tonight and lots of empty trays not being replenished. Made to feel second class despite having already paid for half board. The lift is old and the public areas tired. View of the air con units and any other crap they want putting out the way. Have eaten out a few nights to get away. Pool has a scumline around it and had not been cleaned. All this and still 9 days to go. Wish us luck.

We couldn't have chosen a better located hotel. Close to the beach and to a bus stop. Supermarkets within eady reach. The staff were professional and friendly. The food was varied and we especially like the BBQ, which had a really special feel. Panagiotis at reception was so kind on arrival, with a drink and the kitchen had made us baguettes. It was early and we were tired. Special thanks to Alexander and Manos, who were constants in the dining area. Stratos, one of the chefs was so lovely and kind when I tried to speak greek! Just bear in mind that all inclusive ends at 11pm and lots of drinks are not included in the price. The dining staff work hard and long hours. There was low key entertainment every night. Nothing too crazy, which suited us. The cleaning staff kept our room tidy every day like the unsung heroes they are. There was a pool table, chess and a small number of amusements. Some nice quiet, calmer spaces available in the hotel. The pool was a nice size. Not always easy to get sunbeds and we noticed that bed hoggers would put a towel out all day, regardless of whether they used the pool or not. Not the hotels fault at all, more about people being selfish. Would stay here again because of the great location and distance from the Old Town. Thank you for making our holiday so great.

We have been in Minos Hotel on vacation. This is just an great hotel. When we arrived the manager poured us a drink while we checked in, immediately making us feel welcome. Even the first day we were surprised in a perfect way when they gave us upgrade from double room to suite apartment for the same price an when we open the door from room there was one more surprise - champagne, wine and fruit for warm welcome. The view from balcony was just magic. Friendly,kind and most helpful staff In any way. If they can help you they will for sure. The room was perfectly clean all the time. Plenty of very tasty food ( you can't decide what to take). Perfect location and super clean pools and whole public place in hotel. Every day they have very interesting entertainment: from belly dancer to live music and tasty BBQ diner next to the poll and etc.From 1-5 I give 10 and definitely I recommend it and when we go yo Crete again for sure our choice will be Minos hotel. Trust me you will enjoy to stay in this hotel

This is such a beautiful hotel. At check in the manager poured us with a fresh drink so we felt welcomed from the first entering in the hotel. They surprised us with upgrade from twin room to suite apartment for same price , wine, fruits on a table in room and full free mini bar for the first day. Perfect location and just magic view from the balcony with sea view in near. Everyday perfectly clean room and whole area in the hotel. Kind, friendly, polite, positive and helpful staff. They will help you with anything for sure if they can. The food is soo tasty and you got plenty of it to choose. ( from vegetarian to meat eaters). Very interesting entertainment- diferent every day and every night. We have enjoyed in every entertainment especially in live music, belly dancer night an BBQ by the pool. From 1-5 i recommend it with 10 even more and I'm sure that if you stay in Minos hotel you will enjoy for sure. When we go to Crete again we will stay in Minos hotel for sure
