Hotel Corsten

The hotel is very old, but the rooms are quite modern. Shower curtain in the bathroom... But there are a few issues: - Housekeeping has a lot of room for improvement (trash can in the bathroom not emptied, no coffee available - despite kettle and coffee cups, minibar empty...(why? We would have liked to have had something to drink, but the bar was closed and the minibar was empty...), some dirt in the bathroom... - Breakfast habits very suspect...on Sundays a late riser breakfast is offered from 10:00, for which hotel guests are charged an additional fee (that's what it says...but we didn't do that!) The fully automatic coffee machine is turned off...it's included in the hotel breakfast, but costs extra for the late riser breakfast...but unfortunately we didn't have a chance at the normal breakfast at 9:30. The "normal" breakfast buffet is already completely cleared away by 9:30 and it is only replenished shortly before 10:00... Positive: - Very friendly staff - Very tasty and fresh prepared scrambled eggs Negative: - Bacon, Nuremberg sausages, fresh waffles... only for the "late riser breakfast" (as the waiter said). - There is junk lying around everywhere and the furniture outside the rooms looks like bulky waste. - Staff is totally overworked - When I mentioned it at checkout, the only excuse I got was that there was a staff shortage... Sorry, but for a room price of €150.00 I expect more...,
