Haifa Hostel has restored my belief that there is still a chance for human kind. Such warm hospitability and so many interesting people echanging thoughts. You will feel as you are at home since the owner has done great job decorating this place. Very clean, well organised, cosy hostel. Please visit. You will surely return. The hostel had such a cool vibe and was really pretty. The staff were so kind and welcoming and gave us amazing reccomendations for things to do and see. There was free vegan pancake breakfast. The room and showers/ toilets were all clean

Right at the beginning of the German colony and close to Haifa Hashmona station with a bus stop right in front, you cannot go wrong with this property as far as location is concerned. Close to eateries and bars/pubs of all ranges , you can enjoy food and drinks at any suitable budget. Rooms are basic with bare essentials . The atmosphere is laid back. You are welcome to share the pancakes made by one of the volunteers for breakfast. You can also chill n the open terrace with your own beer and just do nothing. The staff is friendly and helpful . Altogether a good budget option in a great location

Only had a public dorm with men and women ,which I was not comftarble with,didn't have space for my suitcases , so they could be protected from theft, they were left out in the open... I was sexually assaulted by one of the adult males on the porch, one night,the boss took no personal responsibility, to even talk to the man and proceded to blame me and judge me for my "clothing"... He also upped the prices... Do not go there!

Good service by Irber?? at check in. Saw volunteers checking the bathroom cleanliness several times one day. Added bonus- free pancakes for breakfast. Cute decor and rooftop lounge area. Lots of outlets to charge in girls room. Towels and locks provided. Highly recommend

Top of the hostels in Israel! What I enjoyed the most is the friendly and relaxed atmosphere: you feel part of a community as soon as you step in the beautiful, historic stone building, located just 5 mins walk from the train station and opposite the bus stop of the local public transport. Simple and cool! High standard of cleanleaness, comfortable beds, and last but not least an amazing terrace overlooking the harbour, from where to enjoy the Mediterranean sunset.

Great location in German Colony with cool architecture and great restaurants within in two minutes walk. Parking on the street is free and easy. The hostel is well maintained, clean, and everything works. The people are great! Donny is a great host who makes sure you have everything you need, and has lots of tips about what to do in Haifa and the surrounding area. The vibe is very friendly and chill. People of all ages are welcome, from students to families. People eat pancakes together in the morning and hang out on the rooftop having a beer and playing guitar at night. It's right size where people are friendly to each other and get to know each other, but you can do your own thing if you want. Definitely recommend!

I stayed in the single room for a few nights and found it to be OK. The location was excellent, 5 min walk from Haifa Hashmona train station and a 10 min walk or so from the lower Bahai Gardens. Lots of places to eat nearby. The room was fine, it had the bare essentials and was mostly clean, although there was a large and ugly stain on the ceilling. I didn't struggle to sleep, but it could be loud with noise from the road and guests in neighbouring rooms. I was lucky as my room was further away from the kitchen, shared bathroom and roof terrace.
