Lovely place. Some staff can speak English, some can't, but all of them were very friendly and helpful. Location is just 5 minutes walk from the main station and bus stop on the main street. The food was outstanding and stunning in presentation. The hot spring has indoor and outdoor areas. The room was spacious but can be super cold during winter (and there's no hot water system in the bathroom due to old facilities). But overall, best experience, would love to come back :)

There are many comments saying that hot water is good, but what do you think? That's what I thought, but it was really good. I personally don't like long baths, but even if you take a long bath many times, you won't get hit by the hot water and your body will be warmed from the core. I got a room with an indoor bath, and the whole room was clean, the bathtub was the right size and depth, and the washing area was spacious, so I didn't need a large bath. The room itself is not very large and there is no closet, but it is not a problem for a one-night stay. Amenities and towels were also well stocked. The food was also delicious. None of the flavors are too strong, and the vegetables have a natural sweetness that goes well with your chopsticks. I thoroughly enjoyed the soy milk hotpot right down to the last porridge. The proprietress and Mr. Nakai are also friendly and make you feel really relaxed. I found a place I would like to stay again.
