They never cleaned the room

We absolutely loved our stay here. The locals and workers are beyond amazing. We will definitely be back.

We loved everything about Kaanapali Shores. Friendly staff, fun guests and great location. The room was well appointed and the view was spectacular. The only negative was the recycling truck emptying the glass recycling container at 7:30 am.

The staff was so friendly and helpful! I loved the live music at the pool one evening however we did not know if there was a calendar of events scheduled nightly or if this was a one night occurrence. Pool is relaxing, views were amazing and kitchen was very well equipped. Grocery store was across the street and very convinient!

The rooms were definitely a little bit unclean we found a roach in the kitchen as a welcoming gift. The rooms also smelled a little bit I’m guessing from the rug. But besides those things the rooms it’s self was ok. The first bed in the small room was very creaky and made a lot of noise when people slept in it . Also the kitchen utensils were very old and did not work properly. Finally the washing machine did not work because it made the cloths smell bad, and it was very loud. In conclusion the actual hotel was very nice although the rooms were outdated.

When I took this property I noticed that there was an AEI Kaanapali Shores and I called and inquired about it because it was a lot cheaper instead of booking Aston Kaanapali Shores, both of those we're available at *******, So as it turns out it's the exact same place!!! and I didn't get any more or any less amenities that I would have had I booked the cheaper condo! I believe that we stayed in the cheaper condo it was pretty ran down. The lighting was terrible, the amenities in the kitchen were very poor, however we did have three strainers for pasta noodles if you wanted to cook pasta, but only one pot to cook it, definitely not upgraded!!! Very old and outdated furniture only sheets on the bed that were very very worn, had to call housekeeping to get a blanket that looked like it was from 1970! Will not stay here again as the front desk girl Heidi told me that I would get like ukulele lessons and stuff like that for free where AEI guests would not! None of that is true as I found out! Anybody could get it for free. She also told me that we would get maid service during the middle of the week which we did not, and that would account for us paying extra. We were awesome told that we would get an upgrade being an ******* member and we did not get that I feel it was the worst condo on the property very very old and outdated! I tried to ask them at the front desk if this was the AEI property instead of the Aston Kaanapali Resort property and they would not answer me sad!

Took my family on a vacation to Maui loved where we stayed. Will definitely book here again for future vacations.

This was the best trip.to Maui. Aston Kaanapali shores is our favorite. The room was fantastic. Cant beat the views. We did have problems with the sliding screen doors and window in back bedroom. Staff was very accommodating. We will be back.

Great location- nice sunset, walkable eateries, dining in hotel, nice beach. not much amenities- no gym, slow internet , no housekeeping unless requested and no coffee unless asked. Give it four staff.

Place was over run with cockroaches. House keeping only cleans room once per week. Had to ask for coffee service amenities several times, even though they charge you every day for said amenities. Lounge chairs are non existent at beach, as they show in pictures. Overall we were extremely disappointed in this hotel, and would not recommend staying there

Liked the beach front areas. Not so great with regards to room cleanliness, especially the kitchen area and the utensils

Quiet, good location, clean, friendly staff. A lot of the hotels in this area area bit outdated.

Excellent early check in! Beautiful grounds and lots of space in the one bedroom unit to spread out.
