The hotel's proximity to the Asahidake Visitor Centre, which is highly informative (I spent an hour there), and the ropeway to Mount Asahidake makes it an ideal choice for nature enthusiasts and hikers. The room was spacious, featuring a modern and minimalistic design that provided a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. My family particularly enjoyed the bath, and the attention to detail in the provided pajamas added an extra touch of luxury to our stay. While the buffet spread for both breakfast and dinner wasn't exactly fantastic, it was good enough to satisfy most guests. The variety was adequate, though there is room for improvement in terms of the selection offered. One of the highlights of our stay was waking up to the sounds of nature and the gentle breeze. The hotel's location is perfect for those looking to trek, hike, or simply enjoy the natural beauty of Daisetsuzan National Park. Incredible service and beautiful, quiet hotel with rooms that make you feel like home! We even met a ezo red fox while driving down the mountain from the hotel.

The room is very large and comfortable. The standard room is more than 60 square meters, which is very large among Japanese hotels. The newly renovated hot spring hotel is a 5-minute walk from the cable car entrance. It is definitely the best choice for visiting Asahidake Daisetsuzan. There are two disadvantages: 1. As a hotel that includes breakfast and dinner, the breakfast and dinner dishes never change, and I lose my appetite after eating. 2. I always feel that an Indian male waiter is discriminating against Chinese people... staring at your every move, which makes people feel very uncomfortable. Another time, I saw a hair on the buffet food, which was super off-putting!

This hotel was newly renovated in 2022. When I checked in, I felt that the design was novel and stylish. The room was very large, very spacious and comfortable, and all the furniture was newly added, which was very stylish. The room is spacious and suitable for winter skiers. The hotel has a hot spring, elegant design and a variety of Daxueshan related books. It is a good place to enjoy health and leisure! The accommodation includes a buffet breakfast and dinner, which is very rich. I especially like to serve wild vegetables and honeydew melons from Hokkaido, which are very fresh and delicious. The hotel also has free drinks and laundry and drying services, which is very positive!

We had a wonderful 6 night stay. The staff are amazing and the food is incredible. The room was perfect size for a week or longer stay. Great couch and tv, with usb compatibility. If the bed and pillow were a little softer I would say it’s perfect. It was hard to leave.

The onsen hotel is in a beautiful setting. Spacious room with comfortable bedding. The meals were exceptional. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely visit again. It’s a short walk to the Asahidake ropeway. The view is magnificent.

The location was so convenient to the mountain. Next to the visitor center and the ropeway. The hotel itself was beautiful and elegant. Staff was very friendly and spoke English. The food was very delicious with many choices. The hot springs were also wonderful and everything in the hotel was clean. The room was very comfortable with nice bedding and comfortable beds and couches. This was a very wonderful experience!

After getting caught in a real downpour at the top of the ropeway, I really appreciated the onsen. The gentlemen at the front desk, who seems to be there 16 hours a day, couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. For a buffet, which I tend not to like, this one was pretty good. There are not a lot of options in Asahidake, but you can be very happy here.

This little spa town is one of the few access points for the national park, and probably with the best day hike. If you want to stay locally, this hotel is perfectly located (beware of onsen hotels near Hagoromo falls - it's been partially abandoned in a post-apocalyptic way). The stylish and comfortable rooms are enormous, and it has a beautiful second floor library/sitting area for weather watching. The actual onsen is a bit average, as is the food (but there are no other dining options). Western breakfast was weak, although dinner choices were broadly fine. In short, it's not the best onsen luxury experience ever, but very practical as a base for the park.

Stayed for the sauna and snowboarding. Bottled beer sells out quickly, so it's a good idea to order early. Prices are reasonable compared to other facilities far from town. There are no annoying staff, so feel free to ask. Some of the food has received harsh reviews, but I'm not a gourmet, so everything was delicious, especially the vegetables. It's true that accommodation fees have been rising steadily since the Heisei era. However, if you're running it and providing the same service to protect the lives of your employees, it shouldn't be too expensive. Although it's supported by foreigners, I hope that domestic customers will also use it so that this precious hot spring town can survive.

I had a relaxing time with the calm colors. The food was also delicious. It was close to the Asahidake Ropeway and blessed with good weather, which made me feel refreshed.

The whole facility was spacious and made me feel very relaxed. The bath and food were good.
