Great golf course Great resort

The scenery is great, even better than the pictures, but the receptionist is an old lady with very poor service attitude and is quite rude.

The staff was nice. The food was very good. The room was no better than Motel 6. They have many rules. Again many rules….I expect to be treated like a preferred customer not like a spring break juvenile. Would not stay there again.

Toliet papper holder was broken in the master bath a little annoying to use, a few more cooking essential litle oil for the pan would be nice, or a griddle for pancakes. Usb plugs in the master for phone charging would be a bonus

Said it was a suite but i would not call that a suite i would call it a bedroom and bathroom portion of an apartment. The heater didnt work the greatest and when we called we were told to turn it on and wait 30 to 60 minutes and if it didn't warm up then to call. There also was no water pressure and very little hot water. It is great for being right on the golf course and by the state park.

I have both positive and negative things to say about our stay. The negatives were when we arrived on Saturday they had construction workers working on the building right outside our balcony it was super loud and was blowing crazy dust onto our balcony. They eventually stopped around 5:30pm but it was bummer to not be able to immediately go out onto the balcony and take in the views. Secondly, the internet WiFi is awful. It’s an open network so anyone can technically join without a password which really isn’t safe but that’s a moot point because it’s so low it’s not even usable. FYI with anyone who has Verizon, our phone service was really bad so we were basically phone less because the phone service was bad and the WiFi was even worse. The WiFi that’s linked to the TV also was hit or miss, we kept trying to watch the UFC fight and the app would fail. We tried calling the front desk but unfortunately their maintenance team leaves at 10 so they weren’t able to fix the internet Saturday night when we were trying to watch our sporting event. Now onto the positive! The room was exceptionally clean, the property is gorgeous, and they have a lot to do there. You can golf, swim in three different pools, and they have off roading rentals. I think in the summer they even have water rentals for the near by lake. The clubhouse grille food is delicious too. Some staff are friendlier than others but overall they are nice. Sandy at the grille is so great! All and all it was a good stay

Beautiful property situated in the canyon surrounded by red rock. Gorgeous. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed here in early March, no heat in the room, no blanket, no phone to call reception/housekeeping. I think stay in summer is fine as they have air conditioning. Room is specious and clean, but you can hear the room next door cleanly, unfortunately they were having a party, too noisy. It’s not worth the money to stay here.

Excellent stay. The place has lots of room for your family & excellent views of golf course & mountains.

The resort is very nice and in a great location. We stayed there 5 nights. Unfortunately, they don't provide housekeeping services. I had to call twice during my stay requesting clean towels, additional toilet paper, trash bags and clean sheets. They do bring the bare minimum to your room, and leave outside the door so the customer can do their own housekeeping including changing sheets. It's sort of disappointing when you're paying for high resort fees.

The room was nice, but checkin was pretty bad. My son drove separate and got there before us and went ahead and checked in. He was treated terribly! They called me to make sure it was okay and I told them it was okay. The staff was so rude to both myself and my son. We have two reservations for this weekend and if we didn’t have to stay here we would find somewhere else. I was blown away at how they treated him. They talked down to him and treated him so poorly. It’s a nice facility, but that doesn’t give the staff the right to treat people badly! We will never stay here again.

We always love Hand Hollow. Everything was great. The beds were a little hard that would be our only complaint.

The resort and room were nice. The biggest issue was the poor customer service. When we entered the room it was freezing. We tried to turn off the AC and run the heat but the AC would not turn off. The weather in St. George is usually warm but there was a storm and the low that night was 37 degrees. We called the front desk for help that evening and they said they would send someone to help. The service specialist showed up the next morning at 10:00am. We froze all night as the AC ran and there were no extra blankets. When we checked out no one asked if we were satisfied with our stay or how the room was. We will not stay at Sand Hollow Resort again.

we really enjoyed the ambiance and the condition of the property overall. We had one issue that was a little beneath the standards of a property like this. The heater in the unit did not work and it was a cold night for Souther Utah. the manager offered to bring some blankets and as an afterthought brought us an electric heater that was loud and did not adjust for fan speed. Otherwise the place is beatiful and enjoyable. Thanks.
