Devonshire Greens - the Leisure Hotel and Spa

There was a very friendly welcome by the front desk at Devonshire Greens. Myself and my mother had arrived after a long journey and we were greeted by delicious watermelon juice and some cake. It was very peaceful & there was beautiful tranquil music on in the background. We were given a comfortable and clean room with a BEAUTIFUL view of the forest with the mountains. I highly suggest to get a room with a balcony & wake up early to see the sunrise! The staff at the restaurant were also very attentive & helpful - thank you! The hotel also does an intimate bonfire for guests in the evening with music which is a nice touch.

All I can say is excellent hotel to stay. Tasty food.staff also good too. Renovation going on in the property for good I had seen the WIP room and i liked the way they are . I had food in Green tea too it was We had been to munnar and it was place to visit. Rain have started it made munnar more beautiful. Spoke to sharath and anand thanks to them they swiftly arranged a car for airport .

Had the best time at Devonshire green. My husband and I went to Munnar for our honeymoon and my cousins had aranged a stay for two days for us at Devonshire Green which included early morning trekking, yoga class, breakfast and candle light dinner. They had decorated our room with balloons and rose petals. The food was delicious. Even though Munnar during march wasn't a great idea, the stay at Devonshire was all that we had hoped for. We were quite impressed by their hospitality and especially by Mr. Sharath, who accompanied us on our morning trek and kept us engaged with his charming personality. He was quite dedicated in ensuring that we felt comfortable and had arranged the perfect candle light dinner for us after a long hot day, sightseeing. I would definitely recommend Devonshire green for anybody planning for a short staycation at Munnar

The hospitallity given by the reception team is very good, the entrie team members is polite. The special think i want to mention is that the morning breakfast us really good. The surrounding and ambience is very nice. The hotel situated near to munnar town. One of the prime location for stay.

Pros - Well located to local munnar town, pallivasal tea factory and attukad waterfalls. Clean hotel and large rooms with beautiful views (we had a mountain view balcony room). Staff very attentive and responsive to queries. Breakfast reasonable and staff happy to make omelettes etc. We had a 1hr massage (offered a discount at 2000 rupees each). Our masseuses were very good. Cons - Staff rang us several times checking if we would attend the evening bonfire, when we will attend breakfast and dinner. This often felt a little pressurizing and disturbed our rest times. Rooms were often missing hand towels, toilet roll but were brought quickly and with a smile when asked. No air con in rooms, please invest in this! No female ***agers seen, please review your equality policies. Please consider offering yoga. Overall a positive stay, thank you to all staff.

The stay was great with great hospitality from the moment you enter to moment you exit. Thanks for the wonderful time. The staff were wonderful and available all the time.

Excellent place to stay. Peaceful. A lot of activities. Good food. Rooms are spacious and they have good view downhill to the woods. Staffs are very caring and prompt. They have indoor sports facilities such as table tennis. They have gym. Enjoy

Nice stay, liked the location , good food. The staff is extremely cordial. We had wonderful stay here . We had good sightseeing in munnar . Sunrise point . Metupatti dam . Kanadala dam . Econpoint . Eravikula national Park... all we saw . Evening games area conducted by sharath was the highlight. It was extremely funny we became children again .

This is a calm and serene property with tea gardens all around. We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. The staff is very friendly and always available for any help/guidance. The staff of the restaurant was more than eager to prepare dishes of our choice. I strongly recommend this property for a memorable stay at Munnar.
