only stayed one night Handy for traveling by car But the hotel is located in a remote place, it will be troublesome if you don't have a car And there are no street lights around at night, it will be a bit scary But it takes 10 minutes to drive directly to the nearby city center Free parking downstairs is very good There is no elevator in the hotel, you can only carry your luggage upstairs The hotel is a self check in At the beginning, if the password is wrong, you need to call the customer service to solve the password problem before you can open the door But the problem was solved soon

This hotel is so bad that I can't describe it. It's inconvenient to stay, the house looks like a ruin, and I thought it was a ** in the movie when I arrived at night!

This place was shocking. Worst place I’ve stayed for £147 The hotel is unmanned. The gardens look lovely and from the outside it looks ok. As you come up to the door for self service check in there’s an ashtray overflowing! Inside the foyer it looks pleasant and a little run down. Our room was in the basement looking out onto the garden which looks nice till you see the chimnea full of cigarette ends. The bed was lovely and comfy and clean. The room was a bit dusty not great but ok. You then go into the wee kitchenette with has mouse tea set under the sink. It also has a wall partially plastered by someone who must of had their eyes shut. Dirty parts on the walls. The shower room was bizarre. The toilet was clean as was the basin and shower but the same guy must of applied the silicone with his eye shut. There was also dirt on different parts of the floors. They also had a hand soap but no shower gel or shampoo that you would normally get. Obviously no expense was ever used to refurb this place. The worst thing was that in the morning there was a smell of sewage in the kitchen and in the hall! I called to speak to them and they thanked me for letting them know but no apology. I’ve never done a 1 star review before. £147 I am disappointed and disgusted. Such a shame it could be lovely and I’m still in shock. If it hadn’t been a 3 hour journey home I wouldn’t have stayed.

No staff onsite on our arrival no text message to gain entry code, We stood outside in the freezing cold trying to call the mobile..eventually someone answered. Our room was absolutely freezing! So another call to a heavily accented male,he agreed to turn on the heating remotely .I asked him where we were to get our breakfast he informed me there was no breakfast..it was falsely advertised as breakfast included.! The room was ok but the electric jug was unusable the property appeared empty but we did manage to find 1 other guest who loaned us his jug..Do not choose this property.. They falsely advertised breakfast included, stopped answering their mobile I left several messages regarding a refund for breakfast and replacing the unusable jug. Avoid Avoid!This property is an absolute nightmare!

Checking in was easy and the room was ok, just not the nicest. The most annoying part was there was ZERO communication after the initial email on how to get in. "Free breakfast" as part of our room did not exist. Period. What a rip off! We would not pick this place again!!!

Very quiet location. Very quaint appearance. The room was large, if a bit musty smelling, and there was no air or other cooling method. The worst was finding what looked to be rodent feces around the bathroom and bedroom. We informed the owner but there has been no response to date. Even if what we found wasn't rodent related, it indicates poor cleaning of the room and bathroom

Very impersonal place to stay. No staff on site so no one to speak to. Our twin room was grubby with thick dust by the mini fridge, one of the headboards was not level and there was black mould on the shower wall and around shower tray. We checked out super early after our one night stay. Despite booking as B&B on *********** there was no breakfast it had to be purchased separately but who from? No idea as we never saw anyone. Luxury country house hotel it certainly is not, the only plus thing was it's quiet location.

Our stay at this property wasn’t what we expected. Absolutely no extras, plenty of cupboards but no crockery, cutlery or washing detergent. Several appliances weren’t working properly. The heater in one of the rooms couldn’t be adjusted so was absolutely stifling and the heating towel rail wasn’t working and getting in touch with anybody was difficult. Very disappointed as most of our other stays through the UK have been excellent.

House looked totally neglected the gardens were overgrown with litter No staff no information Dirty corners in the room hairs in the bed!! £508 for 4 nights we didn't stay no refund as promised!! Not as described. Web site misleading, pictures totally out of date.

A charming country-style boarding house in a secluded location, but surprisingly close to Inverness. Finding it was a minor challenge. The weather was quite warm the night we stayed, so we felt the absence of airconditioning, but I shouldn't imagine that is normally a problem this far north. The entire stay was non-contact, we didn't see anyone apart from a few other guests, but the process was easy and well-managed, just check your phone for text messages.. .

This is a beautiful property. The owners are very kind and personable. It's keep very clean. I wouldn't recommend a stay here if you don't have a car. I suspect that the difficulties of finding staff have left the gardens untended.I hope that an economic turnaround in Scotland would see this beauty restored

The worst dirty place I have ever stayed.. It sounded great looked great on booking .com paid owner£99. For one night. It was filthy I tried my best to find somewhere else to stay but Inverness was full. If it wasn’t for the fact I get the ferry to get home I would have left.

Not a nice place. Rooms were not clean. Stains on walls and marks. Windows dirty and sill. Very tired accommodation. Not worth the money they ask. Also, no hot water. No reception to help and when messaged property owner, not interested and didn’t reply. This was our worst experience

Very unclean. It takes a lot to build up dust and dirt. Pen marks on the wall. Dirt on carpets. Rotting base of doorframe. Pillows completely used and abused. I paid £273 for 2 nights ... !!!! There was a used Q tip in the drawer and crumbs around the skirting boards where the hoover couldn't reach. Broken blinds. No wardrobe space in a double room. I couldn't wait to get out.
