The room had a very mountain feel. Very nice decor. Only issue was that both beds felt like sleeping in a bowl. Maybe broken in the middle? Besides the bed the room was very nice. Restaurant was also very good and reasonably priced.

This place was so peaceful. Rooms are very cabin like. Dining was conveniently to walk to and such a nice experience also with outside dinning.

We stayed in one of the small rooms of a quadplex. The interior and exterior walls were thin, so you could hear your neighbors conversation and the traffic outside as well. The heating and air conditioning system was very loud, so we had to keep it off during the night. Fortunately, it wasn’t too cold or hot, so we were comfortable. There didn’t seem to be a dedicated staff for the lodge, they were shared with a very busy restaurant, so some information was left out regarding amenities that would have been nice to know. Also, our lodging room was located up some very steep steps, no one on staff offered to help two senior citizens with medical issues with lugging our bags up these steps, (one being a Veteran of the military). Service was hard to come by at this lodge. Needless to say,I won’t be back to this lodge

We had a great stay! Easy check in and check out, and the cabin was fantastic. Nice to have our own space not connected to a bunch of other rooms. Would definitely stay again!

A basic place to stay but wouldn’t do it again. Needs some upgrades and the staff wasn’t too friendly or helpful

Staff were freindly and helpfull. Cabin was clean. The food was good at Powder Lodge restaurant.

Beautiful setting and a wonderful, cozy cabin. Bonus was the on site dining. Food was fantastic as was the service. Will definitely return!

Absolutely LOVE this place. Cabins are really charming and very clean and comfortable. Was a nice place to sit and listen to the wind in the aspens and peace of the surrounding woods. The restaurant had amazing food and good wine. Will definitely come back for a longer stay for futher exploration of Keystone and South Dakota.

Appears rustic but has all the amenities of a modern hotel, plus the best restaurant in town. Very convenient location to see everything you want to in the Black Hills.

What a great place to stay. Easily located between all of the sites. Restaurant was spectacular. We had dinner twice and breakfast once. Staff were helpful, though we did not require attention. Cabin was quiet and nice to have for large dogs. We would get the larger one next time. Overall, great visit.

Very nice cabin in an amazing enviroment. The cabin was good, the bed is bot the most comfortable I've ever slept on but it's OK. The restaurant was in itself and atraction and you must reserve in advance (and it's clearly worth it).

Ben, who must have been a night manager, was so helpful to us. We got in very late and had no dinner but the kitchen had just closed down. Ben turned on the fryer to give us a hot meal of chicken tenders and fries!!! Everyone polite, friendly and we truly enjoyed our stay.

Nice room & comfy beds good sized room & clean. The restaurant was great good food at competitive prices

A small cozy property that is well located to Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse Memorials.It has a nice outdoor pool which we used and a small restaurant that was good and hence busy.make a reservation in the restaurant or you might have to wait a longish time.
