As a backpacker, I've traveled to many places, but this spot truly made me feel at home. The rooms were spotless and the bedding was incredibly soft against the skin. At night, you literally fall asleep to the sound of the waves, which is fantastic for anyone with trouble sleeping. The rooftop viewing deck even thoughtfully provides cooking utensils, perfect for those who aren't used to local cuisine and want to cook their own meals. They even offer free eggs for guests like me who prefer a milk and bread breakfast, so you can fry your own! The owner, in particular, is incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to answer any questions or requests from guests. My experience on Koh Larn these past few days has been the best since I started my Pattaya vacation. The fine white sand beaches, the jelly-colored sea, and the friendly guesthouse owner all left a deep impression on me. If I ever come back to Koh Larn, I'll definitely choose to stay here again. The owner was very welcoming and attentive, and the staff were always ready to help. The stand-alone rooms were spacious and bright. The decor was cozy, everything was clean, and the environment was beautiful and quiet. It's not far from the pier and the songthaew station, making it convenient for getting around. Just a small suggestion: damaged facilities should be repaired promptly.

There's a free shuttle, it's beautiful, and the rooms are excellent and spacious. If only... for some reason, housekeeping only came every other day, which caused some inconveniences like floods in the shower. Breakfast was good. The designer is superb!

A lovely little getaway hotel - not far from the pier and they offer a pick up and drop off service which is so very helpful in the heat. The rooms were spacious, clean and housed a lovely comfy large bed. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Excellent hotel. After staying for 4 nights, we only had positive experiences. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. There's a transfer service from the pier. The rooms and property are clean and cozy, and the breakfasts are good. There are three gazebos on site where you can relax, as well as a billiards table. You can also rent scooters directly from the hotel. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Overall, it is excellent. Starting with the price, it's so cheap, including breakfast. The room is spacious for two guest and everything is new to welcome their honored guests. However, the younger woman who answers the phone with the hotel number, looks quite annoyed when the guest makes a call to ask how to get to the hotel. So we have no idea how she did that.
Talking about the most important part is escorting their guest, the housekeeper (an aunt with short hair) is very friendly and she loves what she does. We gave her some tips for that. Her great service mind reduces our unsatisfied with the service of the first lady, and we still rate this service at a good level no matter what.

We booked the hotel for a night as we needed a day of from bkk .
The hotel had a pick up service from the pier just give them a call and then there gonna pick u up , when we got to the hotel there informed us the rules the staff was nice and helpful also we could rent a motorbike from them which is 300 thb per day
The rooms are acctuly nice but it just open a few months ago the toilets were a bit dirty the showehead was rusted the fridge had a lot of ants .. when we stayed there it was rainy season wich made the alarm set off from the door alll the night wich was very annoying as we couldn sleep at all
Breakfast was just a ok couple of eggs and toast and sausage
When next morning we’re telling the receptionist all we got was just a sorry for the broken alarm as she say it’s normal cause it’s raining season .. really should improve in that

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff are so friendly and helpful they organised transport for me every day to different beaches and around the island.
The pool is lovely and you can walk to a beach nearby but in general all the beaches are a short drive away.
They serve a nice breakfast and the rooms are huge and very clean and the baths are lovely!!
I will definitely come back.

Facilities: No hot water for showering, tap water was salty, and soundproofing was mediocre. The room was quite small.
Cleanliness: The hygiene was acceptable, and it was cleaned quite well.
Environment: There's a pool downstairs, and the overall style is pretty nice, but the surrounding area is quite run-down.
Service: Someone helped with luggage, there's a shuttle bus to the pier, and breakfast included bread and instant coffee, plus you could choose one freshly made item. You can rent a motorbike for 300B until check-out time.

GGuest UserWe stayed on Koh Larn for two nights after a long time in Pattaya and before heading back to Bangkok.
Samanta by the Sea was a great find, and we enjoyed our stay very much.
The room was a great size, and it was even better that the hotel was only 5 min (walking) from the pier.
We were greeted by the owner and shown around. His friendliness and happiness were astonishing and so genuine.
Getting free noodles, bread, and coffee 24/7 was a lovely touch, too.
We can only recommend Samanta by the Sea and will stay here heapily again.

YY003Very aesthetically pleasing hotel and the swimming pool is great, sun until 5pm-ish, comfortable bed and spacious room. The staff is very welcoming and kind. We had a request regarding a room change and they were able to accommodate us. The breakfast was good and with enough options. They offer scooter rentals and a shuttle service from and to the port.
Be aware this hotel has a lot of steps, if you are physically challenged, I would not recommend it. Other than that it’s located in a quiet part of the island but very central which makes it feel even more of a good getaway hotel.

GGuest UserExcellent hotel. Probably the best on this beach. And even though I didn't particularly enjoy Koh Larn island due to the crazy daytime hustle and bustle, this hotel totally saved my mood. Wonderful guest welcome, amazing pool area, their own free sun loungers on the beach, and a fantastic breakfast delivered to the room. Trust me, it's worth paying a little more than at neighboring hotels for that feeling of exclusivity.

The staff was friendly, the facilities were great, I had the greatest of times here. The resort has designated free beach umbrella's and chairs for residents. The fire shows on The beach were amazing! The breakfast was great too! I rate the resort a solid 4/5

Motorbikes are available for rent at 300 THB, though the one we received seemed to have been in a prior accident, making it difficult to ride as it constantly pulled to the left. The location is convenient, with restaurants within walking distance, and a shuttle service is also provided.
The bedroom and bathroom were clean, but the bathroom did have a slight drain odor. The room itself had no offensive smell, but wasn't particularly fresh-smelling either. The bathroom floor was quite slippery, so caution was needed when walking. The wall-mounted shower had very weak water pressure; a standard shower head would be a significant improvement. Interestingly, the water pressure at the sink and from the bidet sprayer was strong.
The room lighting was rather dim and yellowish. The TV was unusable due to intermittent signal (this was in our family room).
Breakfast included congee, bread, coffee, and Ovaltine.

GGuest UserThe hotel checked us in on time and doesn't allow early check in. this is alright and we understand. The motorbike rental with the hotel is cheaper than what shops offer at the Pier. I was able to rent for 300 baht while the offer at the pier was from 400 to 500 baht.

GGuest UserWe stayed here for 11 days, during this time the room was cleaned twice, when the water/toilet paper/coffee ran out we had to beg the owner. The hotel is 2.5 km from Monkey Beach, 700 meters from Bali Hai Pier, there are many cafes/shops nearby. You can ask the owner for a bike (300) and a taxi (100). At night the music from the cafes is blaring, everything would be fine, but the singers are tone-deaf. It's nice to sit outside, but there are a lot of flies, ants and mosquitoes.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located close to the pier. Check-in is strictly at 2 PM. However, you can leave your luggage and head to the beach, rent a sun lounger for 100 baht and stay there all day, as they say, but only until 4 PM. The area is beautiful, of course, with azure waters. There's a 7/11 near the hotel. You can rent a bike for 200 baht, also said to be for the whole day, but we didn't try it. What I want to say about the hotel itself is that we paid around 4-something for it, but it's not worth the money. Upon check-in, it was quite dirty, and the towel smelled awful; they replaced it with a clean one. The room has soap, shampoo, body wash, two bottles of water, and that's it. There are also two doors leading to different parts of the hotel. In the morning, I woke up to something crawling terrifyingly from one part of the room to another and got incredibly scared. A little later, I realized it was something running on the ceiling. After that, I couldn't fall back asleep. Thank goodness my husband woke up, and I felt a bit calmer.
