Almar Jesolo Resort & Spa

Visited Almar over the weekend. It was amazing. Amazing foods and services, amazing and helpful staff. The heated pool was heaven on earth. Will definitely visit again. Thank you to all the hotel staff, you made our stay a beautiful and unforgettable one.

I don’t think this is a 5*, but it’s a good 4. Positives; nice spacious hotel, good room size, we had a deluxe sea view - nice room. Good facilities and well decorated and clean. Lovely lovely beach good access and sea is very warm and clean. 10 min walk to the main area with shops/bars/restaurants. I had a good look around and couldn’t find a better one in that location. Negatives; not enough public toilets in the hotel, like gold dust! Not enough service on the pool or beach, very slow service, quicker to do it yourself! Room left open 4 times after room turndown in the evening, reported it, but still happened. Inconstancy; one day you can have as many towels as you want -nice. Then you can only have 2. Why!? Reserved sunbeds, no explanation given and just not used at all. Why!? Pool area very tight, beds too close together for our liking so we moved to the beach, much better. Nice to have sellers for drinks and fruit on the beach, without them you would die of thirst waiting for the staff!!! We would return, breakfast was OK, but no toaster available. We British like our toast! Fresh juice has to be ordered which is weird, why not just have that available. Evening bar service as bad as the others, sat outside waiting for 30 minutes then left and walked into town where there are loads of bars and choice. Lovely restaurant

I decided on a second take of a lone 4th of July wellness beach weekend getaway and it was a major success. I pre booked spa treatments and the complimentary wellness sessions with ease. I had requested early check in as my flight arrived at 9:00 am but unfortunately my room wasn’t available until almost 3 pm. I was a little out of sorts because of jet lag but eventually just decided to hang out by the pool. Next time, I will be more prepared to hang by the pool after landing until the normal check in time. I was upgraded from a lateral sea view to a direct view and was greeted with a bottle of Prosecco and fruit plate for my iPrefer elite status. I wish I could remember the name of the woman who escorted me to my room, because she was so friendly for my entire stay. To be honest, I was glad that I had the opportunity to spend as much time as I did by the pool, because it really is a great space, the water is perfect and you can do laps because it’s huge. And if you order a glass of Prosecco, you seriously get a whole meal of chips, peanuts and corn nuts. The room was clean and comfortable. I did very much appreciate the room upgrade for the view. The balcony is private and spacious. Bed and pillows are relatively comfortable but not overly luxurious (comparing to Sofitel). I really appreciate the fact that there is a minibar large enough to chill your own beverages in addition to the hotel selections. I also liked that they restocked complimentary water on a daily basis. Nice touch. The beach is great in my opinion because it’s powder sand, plenty of Sun beds and showers! I didn’t remember getting charged last year for a bottle of water but apparently this year I was but that’s okay. As for the wellness, the fitness room is functional and picturesque. My only quibble is that is a bit warm. I also took advantage of the complimentary wellness sessions on two of my three days. Sveva is amazing (as she was last year when I had a breathing and Pilates session after learning my dad had passed away) and led a great back strength and soft yoga session. It was my own private experience because no one else showed up, but I highly recommend taking advantage. I booked spa treatments and I have to give a shout out to Miriam. She was great with my detoxifying scrub and massage. My anti-inflammatory treatment the next day was kind of meh, but maybe my expectations were too high. Breakfast is plentiful and the inclusion of bubbly is a major plus for me. Both of my stays have been great so I plan to make this an annul ritual. I highly recommend this resort for a relaxing, wellness stay.

Just came back from an amazing break at the Almar. Hotel was very clean, food was amazing. The Spa was lovely very relaxing, the jacuzzi was warm, plenty of steam and sauna rooms. We had massages and facials which were very relaxing. The room was perfect clean and towels changed. The only setback was the lack of restaurant/bar staff. In the restaurant one evening we had one drink and was never asked for further drinks even though we had been sitting a while with empty glasses, and by the pool if you wanted a drink you had to go up to the bar and wait, think, think you’re missing opportunities there as quite a few people were saying the same thing. Otherwise it was a lovely break and would definitely go back.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days for a retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Can I just say I feel completely rejuvenated and refreshed after staying here for such a short period. Everything from the friendly smiles on faces to the little things like leaving little treats on the beside locker this hotel is a must stay. The amenities here are second to none and so is the service I would like to say special thanks to michael at the front desk who provided top notch service Sveva who ran the personal trainer classes was incredible and extremely insightful into living a healthier life as a whole I would also like to mention Chiara at the spa who was so helpful and a pleasure to deal with All in all a fantastic stay and a place I look forward to staying in the years to come One thing I will mention is that there is definitely a dress code as I was met with distain by a few staff members and even asked to change my clothes at one stage which made me feel a bit dejected and put a dampener on what was overall a fantastic experience 10/10 would recommend and thank you to all the staff !!

So first this is an American review. We stayed for a 3 day weekend in April. High 70’s - low 80’s. It was a great property and right on the beach. The biggest issues we dealt with were the chairs and umbrellas had not yet been put out on the beach, but other hotels did, so the beach wasn’t very enjoyable. It is considered their off season and they had an amazing pool area so not a huge loss. The biggest problem is no AC. Which is a normal thing, but not for Americans. 5 star hotel but you can’t have AC in your room, so the first night it was rough and we almost checked out and left. The second day it cooled down and was manageable. The pool area is great it has 5 pools. Two small ones were empty, but had no impact for us. The others are all together. One is inside and heated connected by a sliding glass door in the pool to another outside pool. The other pool is directly connected with a small wall and extends next to the restaurant. The only issue is the bar is down one floor from the pool and it’s hard to get a drink pool side. You either need to go down and order and have them deliver back to pool side or grab one of them as they are bringing someone else’s drinks out. I would just have a small bar near the pool and they would get so much more business. Another small issue was the bar near the end of our trip they started to rush drinks and did not add all the ingredients or only filled cups half way. Breakfast was amazing. Something’s are extra but the basics are great.

Just what we needed. This is a wonderful resort and truly a five star experience. My daughter and I needed a relaxing break after her exams and the spa and its staff were exactly what we needed. Suella, in particular, was wonderful. What I liked was they gave you the same therapist for your chosen treatments and she is a sweetheart. They have an amazing selection of their own products and I was happy to take her recommendations. The food is amazing. The pool and beach area are spotless. A wonderful and relaxing stay. Thank you.

Fantastic pool and jacuzzi, a pleasant nap on the healing loungers and a walk on the lungomare path, golden sand beach. Room bed and bath delightful, food service slow, but we digested well. Will return, very relaxing
