Great

The hotel staff were very friendly and allowed me to check in early when I arrived earlier. Everything was great, except that the heater wasn’t working very well. I introduced this hotel to my friend they extended a 20% discount to my friend for their stay. Great gesture. Would definitely stay with them if I visit London again.

This was exactly what I needed, though it would have been nice if I could get the tv to work. It’s small but I didn’t need much and the location was top notch. If you’re looking for something fancy and planning to spend a lot of time in your room it may not be ideal, but it’s safe, clean, and serves its purpose well.

Staircase and bath are somewhat narrow (as probably everywhere in London). It also seems to take a lot of effort to keep the sidewalks clean. Everything else ist excellent. Highly recommendable.

Nice location and comfortable bed within a minute walk to high st. Room was clean and well presented, I would stay there again. Staff were friendly and happy to help.

This hotel is conveniently based for central London. There was a warm welcome and I was given a key card and also a key for the front door should I wish to be back late. The room was a small single. Small tv. Tea and coffee making facilities. The small bathroom was clean and the shower was hot. Pillows were not great quality but the linens were clean. My problem was the paper thin wall between me and the next room. The person in that room was making work calls on speaker phone until midnight and then started again at 5am. He also appeared to have a coughing problem. It was a really unpleasant night as he seemed to keep going in and out of his room extremely loudly. His door was directly adjacent to my room. Although this is not the fault of the hotel, it really affected my nights sleep and so my rating.

The room was clean, but I think the room was tilted. In addition, the woman at the reception was unfriendly and could not provide tourist information.

The room was tiny and the toilet was not in the room! Had to go through two doors and across the hallway for the toilet, although a sink and shower are in the room. Water pressure in the shower was horrible. Luckily I was only there one night and moved to the Mayflower on the same street which is much better (and half the price!) I can’t believe they charged almost 200€ per night for this quality! The only good thing was that the woman at reception (who also speaks German) was super nice.

I visited the hotel with friends and it was perfect for what we needed, an excellent location right near the tube and a clean, comfortable room. The staff were friendly and helpful and allowed us to check in early and leave our bags at reception which saved us a lot of time and hassle later on as we had plans in other parts of London. Would certainly stay again in future trips to London.

The hotel is a couple of minutes walk from Earls Court. The staff are friendly and welcoming and there is a 24 hr reception, which was handy as we were staying out late on a Saturday eve. The room was basic but warm and a nice view onto the street overlooking the lovely Edwardian terraces and magnolia trees. The road was quiet. Good value for money in the centre of London. There was some confusion regarding payment which was our error and the hotel were very helpful and patient sorting out the issue.

Absolutely amazing service from the minute we arrived Very close to the Tube station (within walking distance) The owner/manager really cares about you and isn’t just interested about the money The rooms are very nicely laid out and the beds are super comfortable Only negative review and isn’t actually a negative for me but may be for others is the fact they don’t provide breakfast Amazing stay am definitely going to be using again

The Kensington Hotel was in a really convenient location to access both Westfield shopping centre, and the Science Museum, with lovely pubs near by. Our hosts were a delightful German mother and son partnership, who kindly shared some simple conversational German with our daughter, who is just starting to learn, and helped advise us re local transport. Times are difficult and different in this time of Covid and Dennis, the manager handled things very well. The hotel has such a wonderful location for good ready to eat food (go to the PRAT or Co-Op near by) and ideal for getting on the Underground. My room was upgraded to a cheerful, clean, quiet and bright double. Simple but all I needed. Some of the programs on British TV are superb. At 53 pounds a night it was wonderful. Conditions did not allow for someone to always be at the front desk but by merely ringing the bell out front someone came right to open the door. I had several things that Dennis patiently looked up and printed directions to. The place was mostly vacant which is a shame because every time I return to London I will hope to stay there again.
