"Sammy was a amazing Host, very friendly and welcoming! I was right bang in the middle of Looe, what a beautiful place! The room was lovely and clean and everything that you needed was in there. I had the single room and it was cute! You had your own Bathroom which was outside on the landing which was totally fine and again lovely and clean and shower was powerful. Breakfast was plentiful and Sammy always made sure you was ok and nothing was too much trouble for him. The only thing I would suggest is to supply some Fans as the room was quite warm as the sun was coming into the room as it was south-facing and also it was a heatwave when I came so that did not help lol. But it would be good to get some and give to guests if needed :) I will defiantly come back and stay at Sammy's in the future its such a lovely welcoming place and you really feel like home there. I told my family about it and they may just stay here too in the future."

"We stayed for a second time to meet up with family . The welcolme and sevice was exeptional , great rooms , clean and well equipt. Lovely veiws of Looe, small beach with rockpools nearby and a short walk into the center. Nice improvements from last year, a decking area at the back is a great addition. The best thing is the warm and friendliness of the ladies who run it . Nothing it too much trouble. We are looking forward to a return visit soon"

"Wonderful quiet hideaway; Shepherd's Hut and Gate 2 are of superb quality. A little strange to do everything from check-in to check-out online without seeing a soul. But this didn't impact the experience at all. The Shepherd's hut has everything you need, a well-equipped little kitchenette. The comfort in Gate 2 is luxurious. The only downside I would say is that there is no on-site breakfast option. Not a problem for our trip as we could cook and have everything needed in the shepherds hut for both couples."

"Unfortunately there was no hot water and therefore no heating for the first 2 days. It was miserably cold in our room and no electric heater offered. The free breakfast was not exactly free if you wanted full English. It involved driving down their single track lane 4 miles into Looe, paying £4 + for parking and then paying for tea or coffee. The receptionist disappeared after the initial meeting and was never around. I could go on...."
