Loved it! Like being on a land based cruise ship. Staff went above and beyond in service constantly. Our valet, Kevin, was so very helpful to us as I am handicapped. No one made me feel a burden and it was such a wonderful experience.

I love hotels with history, archtecture and a good var/restaurant. The Seelbach checked all these boxes and more. The hotel is beautiful, we were here just after Christmas and the decoratio s added to the beauty. We had dinner at the Old Seelbach. The bbq pork nachos were great, and the portions were generous. My husband lived the pork and wished they had it as a sandwich. Hit brown were also very good. The Seelback cocktail was ok, but the old fashioned was one of the best I have ever had, and i have hada few over the years. This was a birthday trip, and certainly one of my most memorable.

The photo used when booking the King Bed room is larger than it actually is. The picture displays 2 sitting chairs with a table in addition to the bed and desk. These rooms don’t have sitting chairs. False advertising. The front desk agreed with what we were saying and offered for us to check out and receive a refund. Little late in the day to do all that so we stayed. If we had known the room was so small, we would’ve stayed at the Brown where the King size rooms are larger with sitting area and the same price. The room didn’t have a small fridge or microwave. We were looking for another historic hotel in the area. The room was clean and bed comfy. Climate control in the room worked well. The decor gave us the vibe we were looking for in an older hotel. The breakfast buffet was good. They are pricey similar to other hotels around that area. We parked in a lot next to the hotel. $23 for the night wasn’t bad. I believe they have a parking garage with the price close to the same. Our stay wasn’t terrible. The marketing team at the Seelbach needs to advertise with the photo of the actual room.

Hallways smelled musty and like dirty laundry. Breakfast and wait staff was excellent.

The Seelbach was the perfect place for us to start our Bourbon Trail adventure. Very historic with modern amenities.

It was a nostalgic property and cool to stay in for the historic value. However the rooms were pretty outdated, even if they were trying to go for an older look.

Hotel was beautiful, the Beds were comfortable. Close to lots of restaurants within walking distance. Parking was a bit of a task but not horrible. A few of the bulbs in the Bathroom lights were blown making it dark. AC unit was noisy. Overall a great place to stay.

Nice old hotel. Staff was good but not great. Screw up on room. 4th Street Live is nice but not great. Steak restaurant nearby is closed for good. Too many homeless in area.

Great location, accommodations, and customer service. Would definitely stay here again. Just remember to ask for a refrigerator in your room if needed.

Beautiful historical building. Rooms were cramped, not a lot of extra room. Bathroom was small. Great location. Hotel Bar was marvelous.

What a gorgeous historic hotel. For the room rate, there were a few issues. Cold water from faucet was just a trickle. No daily housekeeping or bellpersons. Small room & bathroom.

Great old beauty of a hotel. Kind, friendly & ultra competent staff. Super comfy bed. Near down town.

Indifferent front desk employees plus valet parking in the street equal a poor stay.
