Nice location and good activities Service and room are so so They do some renovation so we have people sit in front of our door all the time. Shouldn’t sell the room that not completely done

We received a swift warm welcome from Nivena & she detailed our stay very well. The triple room was cozy for us and we had a nice view over the lagoon. Went to Grand Port for the buffet meals, nice variety of food offered especially on themed dinner. We tried the thai cuisine at Teak Elephant & were well received by Juliano & Abhinash explained in detail each plate. Would definitely recommend. We tried the Sirius restaurant for lunch and it was a nice change though there was a buffet but the quality was there. Don't remember the lady waiter's name(she was tall & had a ponytail and was also waiting at the bar) but she was so nice to us. I tried the spa for the first time & was definitely impressed by the hamam & sauna especially if you have the place for yourself. Jerry was assigned for my massage and it was a divine 1 hour. Though the weather was a bit windy & rainy we had a wonderful time & definitely recommend Shandrani for your stay.

We had an amazing 10 day stay at Shandrani hotel in Mauritius in June 2023 for a friend's wedding. Slightly delayed in doing this review but I was compelled to do so due to the 5 star service we had from all the staff at the hotel. We were quite nervous before the trip as our 2 year old boy has allergies (nuts, dairy and egg). The staff were fantastic and catered specifically for him to make sure there was no risk of cross contamination. Doresse, Natasha, Avinesh and Maxwell were the head chefs we spoke to and reassured us, the quality of food was superb and I can't thank them enough for looking after us. We also had great service from Taroon and Raj at the Sirius restaurant. Patrick was an excellent host at the sports centre and kept us all entertained with the activities. Krisnee and Vanessan were also lovely. It was our second time in Mauritius and we absolutely loved it. The restaurants, facilities, spa and perfect location on the private beach were unbelievable. Would have no hesitation in coming back, 100% worth it! Thank you everyone

we had a wonderful stay at the shandrani.. the staff were very friendly and great animation and superbe music to dance..we enjoyed a lot.. however the arrival and welcoming was a big mess during the check-in. The F&B was really good and a flykilller is a must.. overall, we recommand this hotel if you want to have fun !

We had an excellent weekend at Shandrani for the birthday of my wife.... Great welcome from Madhvi from the reception.... the staffs are very friendly... A big thanks to Jayshree, Rajiv,Kunal Nandinee, Denis, Viraj, Vishal, Raj.... the Saturday show was great with nice music... the room was clean..... Spending a weekend with family is a must.... thank you all from Anissa and Sanjay Toocaram...

Hello, Our family recently stayed at this hotel and it has been a super cool holiday. The plus: - very friendly staff always there to assist you. They deserved to be much valorised for the fantastic work everyone is doing at this resort. - despite the booking for glass bottom boat was fully reserved, the gentleman managed to find a place for us. - super large variety of buffet and large dining area. - house cleaning done regularly. We love it. Room bed was very nice too though the room was just enough to fit two adults and two kids. - despite our room was far from main area, we usually got coach to drop us at our room. - friendly staff at kids club - not too overcrowded hotel - clean swimming pool The only small minus: - Flies during breakfast. (We have local pest and control companies that can remedy to this issue.) Without hesitation we fully recommend this resort to tourists both speaking english or french. The warm hospitality of the mauritian people is not found in any other contries worldwide. BRgds, Narrainen family

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with so much to do and keep us busy. A highlight was the snorkeling right off the beach in the Blue Bay Marine Reserve. Seeing healthy coral and abundant marine life is rare these days. We saw a turtle, moray eel, squid and many hundreds of fish and importantly, a variety of them. Also a barracuda on the snorkel boat excursion. Snorkeling off the beach is safe and shallow so good also for children. The water skiing at Shandrani is next level. Excellent conditions, brilliant ski instructors (no names, all good) and I got up on a single slalom ski for the first time thanks to their and the boat drivers guidance and patience. Ski and boating equipment here is good and many guests were first timers, learning to water ski on their holiday. The friendly camaraderie at the boathouse made for further enjoyment. The kayaking was fun especially when I docked on the beach to get a soft drink from the passing bar service to enjoy on the rest of my paddle. What a life! The All Inclusive is a great concept and at no stage did one feel short changed. The food was excellent in particular at Sirius - amazing salads, fresh grouper and snapper dishes, wonderful marlin baguette and desserts. Teak Elephant provided a romantic, delicious set menu Thai dinner. We did not get a spot at Ephemera which we would have loved to try. The wine and cocktail lists are generous and one really does not need to pay a supplement for something better. The Beachcomber branded wines come from one of the best Constantia wineries in South Africa and of the highest calibre. The Grand Port buffet restaurant serves wonderful pancakes at breakfast – we were quickly addicted. Excellent pizza sliced into 8 pieces at lunch and dinner is also a constant. The pizza base is incredible (just like all bread and pastry baking at Beachcomber, they get it right every time). An observation is that there was never enough fruit at breakfast and never enough pizza at lunch. No sooner was it put out and it was gone. So management may want to double up on a fruit preparer, and a pizza maker, a “pizzaiolo” to meet the high demand. Finding the right plate was sometimes a challenge especially a cereal bowl. These need to be closer to the cereals. The coffee machine gives good coffee, worth queuing for. We enjoyed the spa and the fantastic massage a deux that came as a complimentary activity on our honeymoon/wedding anniversary package. Nisha and Malini were very professional and we thoroughly enjoyed spending an afternoon at this haven of tranquility. The spa pool area is Asian tranquility and trea**ents take place in beautifully designed thatched roof pavilions. The gardens and birdlife are stunning and the various beaches one can choose from ensure that you’re not over crowded. One is particularly quiet facing the wild ocean - a most relaxing place to be. I stayed here for work and unfortunately only for a short time, however the location in the south of the island is perfect and everything what the hotel has to offer is spot on. All water sports are included including motorised, the hotel can be on an all inclusive basis so all drinks and meals are included. I stayed in a stunning and large room on the beachfront, due to the layout of the hotel all rooms are beachfront. All staff was helpful and very friendly, they could not do enough to help us.

Beautiful location, service and hospitality is the best part here. There are many attractions for guests(water skiing, snorkeling, etc.), thanks to guys from boats station - skiing experience was so delightful. Kitchen is great with many options to choose from. Beach service is the best, special thanks to Kavi, you make our beach life easier 🤩
