This is one of the nicer hotels we've ever stayed in. The room was great, and had an amazing view. Everything was spotless clean and very well maintained. But - the thing that really makes the difference is the charm and warmth of the Italian couple who run it. They certainly know how to make the guests feel welcome, which is what makes a hotel stand out. The breakfast buffet was very nicely presented, and included some extra little surprises. The charming little town, was also a nice break from the more touristy villages further down the river. We already are looking forward to coming back to this fabulous hotel.

The hosts were very kind and helpful, the family room was wide, clean and very nicely furnished.
The breakfast buffet and the dinner are something to definitely try.

The room was very primitively furnished, the bathroom was very small. The supposed Italian restaurant or pizzeria didn't exist. The breakfast was okay.
