I was part of a group of almost 50 people. We stayed from Sunday to Thursday, Nov 27 in room 211. Our room was a suite in the main building, which means we had a bedroom, living room with dividing door, bathroom with toilet, sink and bath, and inside the bathroom, a separate shower stall. The living room contains two large armchairs which each convert into a bed, and a fridge. The furnishings were all very modern and very nice. When we arrived, at 18:00, we asked if the beds could be turned into a double bed, and two men showed up in a few minutes, stripped the bed, redid it as a king-size, and refused a tip. Each room contains a coffee machine, kettle, and safe. Our suite had two TV's, one next to the bed and one in the living room. There is free parking all throughout the hotel area, which includes the main building and a number of cabins, taking up a lot of space. The food is all kosher, there is also a supermarket on site, and a separate synagogue near the dining room. The swimming pool is indoors, heated, and semi-olympic in size. The entire hotel was very well maintained and extremely clean. It's right next to a kibbutz, which means there are lots of interesting places to walk around. Some of us went horseback riding, others climbed Mount Bental, and some drove to the Banias. The hotel organizes lots of varied activities from Thursday-Saturday. The mattresses are very comfortable, the room was extremely quiet at all times (good insulation), and at one point I saw a peacock strutting along one of the pathways. I was pleasantly surprised to find elevators in the main building and to the dining room, because this is hardly a given in a two-story hotel. The entire staff were amazing, clearly enjoying their jobs. The restaurant is a few minutes' walk away, but in inclement weather the front desk will send out little golf carts to bring the guests back to their rooms. We ate four breakfasts and three dinners. The food is extremely varied, so there's something for everyone. There is a restaurant called HaBokrim across from the lobby, which I am reviewing separately.

A wholesome experience in a beautiful part of the country. The resort has a heated pool, very good breakfast and great cabins. The cabins are spaced out so you don’t feel crowded. The resort offers activities for kids free of charge. It is a nice touch.

I pretty much loved everything about this place. Usually in Israel people think they can just make noise at all hours and it’s horrible. This place is super chill. The kibbutz is gorgeous. The staff are lovely. Helpful and friendly. The food options on the kibbutz are great. The header ha ohel rivals any 5* hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The spread they put on that was to totally different for both days was insane. I’ve never seen such variety and choice. Our room was amazing. They left me a birthday present that was super appreciated. Loved the facilities and free complementary tours. Will definitely be returning.

The resort is beautiful and well kept. The room was clean, cosy and welcoming. The shed is like a small house, it has a living room, bedroom, small kitchen/ In the winter, the floor is heated and it is great! Breakfast was amazing, a great variety that caters to everyone. The lobby has a fireplace and hot drinks and cookies in the afternoon. I would definitely come again.

This is not a resort!! This a renovated kibbutz with low end mattress and pillows. Furnitures in the room were damaged and the room looked so old. They have a very nice restaurant on site. Breakfast was very average. For 1,200 shekels I expect much better than that!!!

Everything you would want out of a stay at a kibbutz, beautiful scenery, excellent food, nearness to nature, all at a first class hotel. The hikes right near the hotel and the walk around the reservoir were fantastic

We stayed here for 3 nights with our two young children and we all had a great time. The two room cabin was cozy, clean and had everything we needed, including a small kitchenette with a small fridge, plates, cutlery, glasses and coffee cups for the Lavazza coffee machine . We felt like we could choose to be independent or take advantage of the hotel. We chose independence while occasionally asking the hotel for help, which they were always happy to assist with. The people on the Kibbutz were very friendly and everything you could possibly need is within reach. The breakfast is more than enough (even our picky kids found something!) there’s a supermarket with everything you may have forgotten to bring, a really tasty Italian-style pizza place near the cabins and 2 cafes nearby that we didn’t have a chance to take advantage of but will next time! The lobby is inviting, decorated like a ski lodge. There’s coffee, cookies and milk (grab a small bottle from reception so you can fill up to take back to your room!) there all day for the guests and activities for the kids in the adjacent hall. The grounds are really pretty and peaceful, the upkeep is constant. The service staff ride around in golf carts taking care of business, leaving towels and cleaning rooms. All in all we had a great time and barely left the resort for the sheer amount of activities. Our kids had a fantastic time and it was really nice to be able to put them to bed in the cabin and then have a coffee right outside in the evening. A great experience and we’d do it again!

Our family of 4 stayed in a cabin, which was modern and clean. The bathroom was excellent, overall quite comfortable for everyone. Snacks and breakfast were delicious, lots of great food. Grounds were very pretty, friendly staff. We ate at the restaurant which was just okay—very heavy on red meat fare (no surprise given it has a “cowboy” theme). We saw a casual pizzeria that looked better but was not advertised on the website…probably would have liked that better. Lots of trees and flowers, very pretty place.
