excellent location , big rooms , and pretty friendly staff will come back

Beautiful hotel with clean spacious rooms. The hotel staff were very friendly upon arrival. However they wouldn’t accommodate an early check in and there was an incident where all of my friends luggage went missing due to the fact that the hotel staff switched rooms for her while we were away. It took over an hour and a half to locate which staff member did the move and where they placed her belongings because there was a shift change and lack of proper communication. Also be aware that the rooms with “private rooftop patio access” are in fact not private and easily accessible from other rooms because we had numerous items stolen such as a purse and Bluetooth speaker. After a night of worry we finally spoke to security in the morning when they arrived only to be told there are cameras all around the hotel but not there and there was nothing they could do except swap out her room.

Im a gold member we arrived at 10am in the hotel , He was like you have to wait till 4pm.as he is checking us in our room was ready for us at 10am..Place is nice gave us a garden room which was super nice but didnt have a full on mirror. pool was really nice but space was limited seating..My only complaint was the receptionist didn't explain anything about the hotel Nothing at all.. Next time we in Sobe we will try Sola look fun

We really enjoyed the Fairwinds hotel. The rooftop deck with pool is amazing. The courtyard restaurant and bar has a great vibe. The location couldn’t be better. Just right down in the heart of South Beach. Our air conditioner needed to be reset a couple of times in our room but they maintenance staff was there within minutes each time we called the front desk

Our friend’s room smelled so bad of bug spray or moth balls you could taste it. The elevator didn’t work so with the big bags we had to go down a flight of stairs. Front desk girl was very nice. We heard fights between staff twice while we were there.

The restaurant in the open patio beside the hotel blasts loud music during much of the day, including late into the evening, which was clearly audible in our room. When we checked in, we were informed that the elevator in our portion of the building was down, requiring us to take a different elevator and use the fire stairs to access our floor. This was not a problem for me and my companion; we are both-able bodied. But the staff did not apologize or ask if this posed a physical difficulty for us. For some guests this might have been a serious barrier. The rooftop pool is not heated (or at least, not while we were there) and the bartender at the pool starts blasting loud music at 10am. destroying any opportunity for tranquil relaxation for most of the day. The A/C in our room was very loud and ineffective at keeping the space cool. We had two beds in our room, but only one had easy access to electrical outlets near the bedside table. On the other side, we had to move a heavy piece of furniture in order to just barely gain access to a wall outlet. Our room was spacious but lacked adequate furniture -- there was no desk for working, and only a single flimsy director-style chair. The place was clean and the location is great (aside from the noise pollution), but I would not recommend staying here.

Hotel staff was great. Very pleasant and informative. Elevator only went to 3rd floor so had carry luggage from the 3rd to our room on 5th floor. Music is loud and starts early around 10am. That might be a problem for some or others might enjoy that. Location was amazing! Seemed like we never had to walk more than a block or two the whole trip.

Worst hotel ever! EXtremely rude management., Didnt solve any issues with two different rooms then decided to call the police on me! Literally go anywhere else

Bedroom was dirty hair balls in shower beds were old and nasty rooms had a pungent smell of mold

Worst hotel I've stayed in. The rooms were very small. No safety deposit boxes in rooms.Hot water constantly running out. Hallways carpet very filthy. Elevator doesn’t work. No ventilation in bathroom (No window or extractor fan) leaving the bathroom misty after taking a shower and leaving it smelly after using the loo. The women at the front desk was not very nice, refused to escalate the situation to her manager states “I am sorry it’s our policy we can’t issued a refund”. I could go on but I’m not going to waste anymore time on a company that doesn’t care and rip off customers of their hard earned money.

The location was good but the poor sound intonation made this an extremely noisy spot. The beds and pillows were also quite uncomfortable. Likely wouldn’t stay here again.

In the heart of South Beach. Great restaurants and the beach was close by. The hotel is lovely and beautifully maintained. The rooms were very comfortable and very clean. i was not too keen on the off site parking. However they do valet parking with an additional fee of $40.00 i don't mine getting my own ice but having to walk to the ground floor to get ice was a bit too much especially when i was on the 5th floor and the elevator was out of order. We had to go to the third floor to take the elevator. The personnel were very professional and friendly. Overall i had a pleasant stay.

The location was perfect because it’s literally by everything and that is the only great thing about this hotel. When we arrived our room wasn’t ready then the elevator was out of service. The front desk agent could have been more welcoming. The bathtub was a lil dirty so we didn’t use it and the view from the balcony was horrible just a waste. The bed was very comfortable

Great location and nice room size; but elevators not working, unreliable housekeeping service and carpets/furniture with dust and not properly cleaned. Could be amazing but proper management and qualified staff seem to be missing or not present enough.
