NOVOTEL Chongqing Airport

The Novotel is in a great location, just a 3-minute drive from the airport, and they offer a Mercedes shuttle service. A big thank you to the driver who proactively helped with our luggage. The front desk staff were very welcoming and even upgraded our room. For dinner, the poached fish was delicious – aromatic and numbing, but not too spicy. The breakfast buffet started at 6:10 AM and had a great variety: local Chongqing noodles, Cantonese shrimp dumplings, a wide selection of Western pastries and breads. The coffee choices were impressive, with tasty cappuccinos and caramel macchiatos, and I particularly enjoyed the fruit bread, egg pudding, and cheese. We had an 8:30 AM flight, and leaving at 7:00 AM was quick and convenient.

Our itinerary was quite tight, so we opted for the Novotel near the airport. The hotel was excellent; despite its proximity to the airport, it was surprisingly quiet at night. The room was spotless, and the front desk staff were very friendly. A particularly nice touch was the hotel's shuttle service to and from the airport, which was incredibly convenient.

A pleasant stay overall. Despite being next to the runway, I slept very well. Ms. Wang Na at the front desk provided excellent service, patiently answering all our questions. The room was soundproofed yet still featured a balcony (which was accessible), making it particularly memorable among the many new hotels.

Fiona at the front desk provided outstanding service. Upon check-in, she proactively asked about airport shuttle needs, helped with booking, and repeatedly reminded us to wait at the main entrance in advance to avoid missing our flight. She also directed us to the elevators and explained the hotel's amenities. The room was perfect – impeccably clean, spacious, very quiet at night, with an excellent view and high-quality toiletries. The new Chinese-style decor was upscale and distinctive, and the lobby bar in the atrium had a great ambiance. Being right next to the airport made catching our flight incredibly convenient. Overall, the experience was flawless.

The environment is nice and close to the airport. The hotel is spacious and not hard to find, just a few minutes away from the airport. The service was attentive; they even helped me with my luggage when they saw I was pregnant.

She proactively directed me to the elevators and even sent thoughtful check-in tips – the attention to detail was top-notch. The room was perfectly arranged, clean, tidy, with great lighting, and all the facilities were comfortable and complete, absolutely nothing to complain about. The location is convenient, close to the airport, and overall offers great value for money. Fiona's thoughtful service made my trip feel incredibly warm, professional, and thorough. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chongqing. Highly recommend!

Facilities: The overall setup is excellent, with an impressive and grand lobby. The rooms are spacious and airy, with a well-thought-out layout, making for a great stay experience. Cleanliness: The cleaning is incredibly thorough; the room is spotless and tidy, with every corner meticulously cleaned. There are no 'dead spots' for dirt. Environment: The hotel is near the airport, and I expected noise, but surprisingly, the soundproofing is excellent. It was very quiet at night, ensuring a good night's sleep. Service: The response time is incredibly fast. I needed an extra blanket late at night, and a staff member delivered it to my room within two minutes. The service is attentive and thoughtful – a perfect experience. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. Highly recommended; my child loved it. The hotel's atrium restaurant is also very good; I ordered pasta and matcha cake, and the fries portion was generous. The prices are also very reasonable. A hidden gem of a hotel!
