Hygiene: Bath towels are not white enough, hard and thin, and the shower is operated in the bathtub, which is a risk of falling, which is not conducive to older guests. The location of the hotel is very good, it is very close to the cathedral, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Sfortorza Castle and other attractions, all within a 15-minute walk.

The hotel is located in an excellent location in Milan, in the center of shopping paradise, less than 10 minutes walk from Milan Cathedral. The hotel is relatively large and the service is very good. It is an old top hotel.

Old facilities, expensive

The location of the hotel is very good. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the Cathedral of Hundred Flowers. Next door is the flagship store of Amarni and the Amarni Hotel! Go shopping! The hotel is an old building with a European flavor, and the interior decoration is also in an old European style. It is very good and the a**osphere is full! Shopping is very convenient! Great for business trips or shopping!

The only place I will stay in Milan!! Would come back even if only for the incredible staff, however, the hotel itself is stunning. Andrea and Sergio from the Concierge made our entire stay! Would return just for them! They went above and beyond to make us feel like VIPs everywhere we went. Thank you so much! The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous. A piece of history perfectly preserved. The rooms are old world charm with modern amenities. The view was absolutely stunning. The entire staff was super friendly and accommodating. I felt like I was right at home. The breakfast was lovely, the lounge bar had great vibes, and the location couldn’t be more perfect. You can walk to everything, the opera, shopping, the duomo. Wish I could actually live there. See you soon!

Everything we had hoped for in a classy hotel like this. Staff were endlessly helpful and everything was comfortable and stylish. I have a check-list of things in an hotel room, and was very impressed with the fact that all were here. This is a rare thing. Hard to fault the location for anyone visiting Milan and wanting to be in the heart of the city. We would happily return when in Milan in the future.

I stayed at four luxury hotels earlier this month while traveling in the Lake Como region as a single 70 year old traveler. The Grand Hotel Milan was by far the most welcoming and enjoyable. I was particularly impressed by the fact that its rooms although part of a grand historic hotel are designed for 2024 and not 1924 or 1824 as a number of other hotels I went to were. The staff is outstanding.

This is a really great hotel with a kind and helpful staff. I loved my suite with a private terrace. And the location is within walking distance to everything!

Great location! The terrace suite was very nice with a medium-size living room, a good size bedroom with a king-size bed and plenty of closet & drawer space. The bath was all marble with a walk-in shower. Unfortunately the grand lobby of the hotel was 99% closed, undergoing renovations. So we were unable to see, or use it.

Location, I love shopping luxury clothes and shoes, best location, I didn’t need to get transportation to go to restaurants and shopping

It is renovated nice hotel with the perfect location! Good service, attentive staff. Close to La Scala, main shopping streets, main square. Rooms are big, in different colors, however light and not overload by furniture, ceilings are high. Sound insulation is not amazing, you could hear upper floors.
