We didn't know about Milos or Milos Cove before we set our foot on the island. We sure won't forget ever both! The magic of Aegean Sea was captured in this magnificent hotel. You need some patience getting there but trust me you'll be rewarded by the impeccable service, the amazing view and the 5* restaurant. As for the rooms..we would love to stay more! We had the time of our lives! Bravo!

Such a beautiful spot on the Aegean. For the positives - beautiful view, outstanding pool and bar, nice beach with boat dock that we were picked up from., concierge staff was good as was the people running golf carts and pool service. Negatives - nasty and not helpful or accommodating staff in dining room and front desk, snotty attitude that we had 4 teenagers (never mind it’s not 18+ resort) and not welcoming at all! You cannot order off of the room service or all day menu after 7 even though it’s the same kitchen we were rudely told “if we let you do it (to get a burger) everyone will want to” to which my husband said “well maybe if everyone wants to it tells you something!” They were constantly creating problems not solving them. The location is very far away and they charged us 160€ to get a car round trip. The van they said only held 7 when of course it held 8 they just wanted the extra car to be hired. The rooms are clean but the beds are in a loft and the bathrooms are on the bottom with zero privacy. The front door opens into The wet area and there’s no door. The sink is oblong black that has water only on one side. Never could get only cold to work. No place to put your cosmetics, toothbrush etc. pillows were like giant rocks and only sheets on bed. No robes but weirdly they had slippers - Not a traditional duvet as expected in Europe.
Response from Property: Dear guest, Thank you for sharing your feedback about your recent stay at our hotel. Regarding your request to order from the room service menu at the restaurant, we apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused. Our restaurant menu is designed to offer a unique dining experience and while we try to accommodate special requests whenever is possible, we also have a dedicated room service menu to cater our guests’ preferences in the comfort of their suites. We regret if this was not communicated clearly, and we will take steps to ensure better clarity on menu options in the future. Regarding the transfer service, we understand that it may have seemed expensive to you. However, we make every effort to be transparent about the prices and inform our guests in advance to avoid any surprises. The 6seater car is designed to accommodate up to six passengers comfortably and we understand that there were eight people in your group. We would like to inform you that due to the high temperatures in Greece during summer, we do not provide duvets as a standard amenity in your suites, but we do provide blankets. However, duvets and bathrobes are available upon request and we would have been more than happy to address this matter if it was brought to our attention during your stay. Our reception and housekeeping team is available 24/7 to assist with any requests, and we encourage our guests to let us know immediately if they have any issues so that we can resolve them promptly. Thank you for choosing our hotel, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide you with a more enjoyable experience. Sincerely Milos Cove Hotel Inception"

Milos Cove stands out among the world's hotels. Its privileged location, nestled close to the imposing rocky mountains, is nothing short of divine! You can feel the energy emanating from these rocks; it's an extraordinary and memorable experience, I can't think of any other resort in the world that can evoke this unique sensation. It must be truly one-of-a-kind! The views from the pool and breakfast area are breathtaking! So lucky I had the chance to book their last nights before they close for the season. I stayed Oct 6-9. Do not think twice about booking here, and do not fear being a little far away from other areas in Milos, it is so much worthy!

The setting is lovely, but it is pretty remote. Cab fares run about 70 Euros each way into the port. The restaurant is OK and has a pretty limited menu. We had a lot of trouble figuring out the room lighting. This is a lovely place if you want to spend time in one place, but not if you want to experience Milos.

We arrived in Milos by way of a stay at the Elements Boutique in Sifnos, which was superb and gets a 5 star rating, but that’s for another review at another time… We arrived in Milos having travelled by a Jetcat called Champion Jet 2 which was excellent. We then picked our car up from RaC Car Rental unquestionably the most amateur and worst car rental company I have experienced they get a 1 star rating and that is only because I can’t give 0, that is also for another review at another time. So our review of Milos Cove Inception Resort goes like this…. We hated it, when I say we hated it our dislike of our time there is a visceral and profound dislike. The hotel sits at the end of one of the worst and hardest drives you will have to make to a hotel in Europe, you are basically driving through a disused quarry to get there and it’s a bone shaker. At night the drive is one of the scariest things I have ever made…. It’s is 3km once you leave ‘proper’ road at the church on to the hotel and at night it’s unlit which is TERRIFYING and not a little dangerous . Their is no clearly communicated correspondence from the hotel to inform you of this before hand… it may be buried in some *********** correspondence but frankly it lacks any proper/appropriate transparency… you literally have no idea what car to hire and we of course took a Renault Clio, not at all suitable. Milos Cove blab on “ Indicatively, the last 3 km of the road leading to Milos Cove, present historical interest and we advise our esteemed guests for a 4x4 rental” This in NO way gives you any concept of the reality of your journey… On arrival you are collected at the car park and driven by golf buggy to the reception, you step from light into dark which is kind of freaky and I found it unpleasant, the hotels owner I think describes it as creating ‘atmosphere’, truth being its just pretentious. I think the metaphor is to step from darkness into light, not vice a versa. My dislike really embedded when on checkin I was asked if we had brought any DRONES with us, I asked why would I have done that? The receptionist then explained gleefully that they get a lot of influencers staying as the location is just peachy… and my heart sank. The concierge a lovely and helpful person Fontini then gave us a tour of the hotel starting with the SPA and a not very suitable sales pitch for massages and the virtues of obsidian stone and how it has the power to take away anger. To travellers that were hot and sweaty and really just needed their room and a shower after a long journey it was just crass but that I am afraid is what Milos Cove is… The complex is compact and it looks lovely, the attention to detail is good and the rooms are nice, as they should be (entry level £725 per night) you do get breakfast thrown in but at that price you should and its not as if you can pop out for an alternative Adamantas is 7km away and 3km of that is hellish roads…. The staff are mostly pleasant and obliging. The

In Milos Cove, we found the highest level of hospitality at a spectacular location. The infrastructure is perfectly balanced with the nature calmness of Milos island. Local and international flavors of the restaurant, accompanied by the highest service level, offer the optimum environment to enjoy the unprecedented location in the Greek Island.

Facilities are great and has great potential. Very hard to get to location. Reception service very poor as well as porters. No vibe at the hotel in the evenings which is disappointing because they have the setup for it in the bar and dining area. Poor for the rates charged and definitely better alternatives on Milos Also, a very Had to ask for robes in the room. No bottle opener in the room. Also, any hotel that is €1000 per night and charges for additional nespresso pods after first capsules on first day needs a realignment in the service they are offering. Weird start where they immediately try and sell you on their spa and do a welcome sound bath ritual which is not for everyone.

This hotel is fabulous! The location, atmosphere, the service, the room, the pool, the restaurant, the breakfast.. If you are lucky enough to visit Milos island then this place is a must. The spa is outstanding and did I mention the staff are AMAZING!! Will definitely be returning again.

Staff was awkard and unwelcoming. Felt like walking into an escape room or entering a black hole the reception lobby was so dark. Location is a 22 min taxi from everything and costs $70 euros each way to get there. None of the services or food and drinks was worth the cost associated with them. The beach was subpar, and there weren't even bath robes. We stayed in hotels that were better located for half the price with much better service.

Unsafe to travel up and down the road that takes you through the mountains to the hotel at night as there are no proper roads or barriers leading the hotel and there is a sheer drop in some areas down the mountain. There is nothing else around or near the hotel. Hotel is not a 5 star as the rooms look like a basic 4 star. Staff in reception are very rude and so not care to listen to you. The hotel reception is a black dungeon with no lighting and windows you can’t see where you are going. Breakfast is very limited to a small A5 menu that does not cater for vegetarians or vegans and is very limited for meat eaters too. There is no Buffett available as you would expect in a 5 star hotel. No slippers in the room, plugs are hidden behind weird metal cases, no duvet provided only a thin sheet which made the room cold at night as we couldn’t switch off or lower the air conditioning. Fridge in room only has one large bottle of water provided nothing else. They provide no complementary transfers to and from the city centre so basically if you can’t drive you either have to pay a huge taxi bill €70 one way or you are trapped at the hotel. Very disappointing stay.

This was the strangest hotel I have been to . Far from luxury ! I do not recommend staying here . Pool , restaurant & buggy staff all very nice and helpful however management lack any understanding of how to run a “Luxury” hotel . The reception feels like you are walking straight into a trashy dark nightclub. Will never return.

Here is a very fair review based on the final leg of our Greek honeymoon. The Good: - Aesthetically pleasing - Great pool - Clean rooms - Lots of wildlife from the lavender/ rosemary bushes - Beach clean - Views ok (this is not over the beautiful turquoise sea that you see over the rest of the island, this seems to be over deep vast dark sea with jagged cliff edges) The Bad: - €1.50 per espresso pod after your 4th coffee (I’ve never seen this in a 5* hotel) - Gardens unfinished - Very bizarre reception area - pitch black / no seating for arrival guests/ staff seemed confused who was doing what/ welcome drink handed only when reached front of queue in paper cup? - Bathroom products below standard - Thierry Mugler? I haven’t seen this brand since the 90s? Certainly should be a minimum of Molton Brown - Toilet paper cheap thin quality - No robes provided - Slippers clearly re used as small stains - No where to place toothbrush/ no holder / place for toiletries - No mini bar - just a bottle of water replenished each day. When asked for room service they charge €10? - The view from the small private pool was below average (baron dry land with unfinished gardens) - Beach area very very basic - 0 effort made to make this 5 star. No staff attending, with a few basic sun loungers - Service in the restaurant is painful - in the 5 days we stayed not once did they get an order correct first time, it became laughable at the end and not what I had ever experienced in a 5* - Menu/ food quality poor - no authentic Greek dishes offered, fruit selection made a McDonald’s fruit bag look exotic/ orange juice from concentrate carton/ pancakes poorly made/ ridiculously over priced for the quality served (€27 for a club sandwich with processed packet meat) - Staff clearly untrained in how to address 5* guests. Every time we were served food was followed with a very strange ‘Cheeeers’ comment which was inappropriate and quite rude to be using such slang language - a simple ‘thank you’ is more professional - The telephones in the room are very strangely located (one in the upstairs bedroom and one in the toilet?) on one occasion we didn’t make it to the phone on time so dialled reception back - they seemed clueless as to why we had received a call which was slightly concerning - Sales pitches by pushy sales people for beauty products whilst lounging by the pool. Never have I ever witnessed this at a 5* resort, when we declined the staff were rude and said that my skin was burnt and that I should use their products?! Completely unacceptable The Ugly - As our final leg of Greek island hopping for our honeymoon we were most looking forward to what looked like a very unique luxurious resort - we very quickly realised this was not the case: - Firstly despite receiving confirmation our transfer had been booked, upon reaching the port after a gruelling ferry ride there was no car waiting for us. We then called the hotel to be told the driver was 5 minutes away -
Response from Property: Dear guest, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. As an eco-friendly awarded hotel, we value our commitment to the environment and have chosen certain products, such as polycarbonate cups and recycled paper. However, we understand that personal preferences may vary. At our restaurant, we aim to provide a unique dining experience with high quality food, based on traditional Greek recipes and attentive staff members who work hard to deliver exceptional service for our guests. While we respect individual preferences, it is essential to note that comparing our restaurant to a fast-food chain may not offer a fair representation of what we strive to achieve. Thank you for providing additional information about the situation regarding the delay of the transfer the day of your arrival. The day of your departure and not earlier than that, you shared your experience with us, and you accused us of never making the reservation for the transfer. That is why we kindly provided you the email confirmation to the company. It is important to note that even if we were not directly responsible for the delay, we promptly contacted the company to address the issue and we arranged a complimentary transfer for your departure. Regarding the request to deduct money from the hotel bill, we regret that we cannot comply with this particular request as the transfer service is separate from our hotel’s charges. Thank you for your understanding and for choosing our hotel for your stay. Warm Regards, Milos Cove Inception Resort

We had such a wonderful time at Milos Cove. It was rejuvenating, relaxing and secluded. The owner gave us a tour when we first arrived and it was so nice to hear about the history of the land and see how the modern design has incorporated details from the ancient. The resort offers eastern and western therapies. Dinner at the restaurant was great and we enjoyed the breakfast each morning. We felt a sense of calm leaving the place, feeling all refreshed and ready to go back to face to bustle of daily life. Getting there - it is worth getting a 4WD due to the roads. In any case, to make the most out of Milos and its beautiful beaches hiring a vehicle is a must. After thoughts - turndown service, bathrobes could add finishing touches. Nevertheless it doesn’t take away from the enjoyable stay. We had a great time, thank you Milos Cove!

This place is phenomenal and is of the highest quality you could possibly hope for. If you don’t book this place, you’re making a huge mistake.
