If you are looking for a bit of luxury peace and quiet this is the place! Secluded on the south east side of Milos, this place has it all! Great views, seclusion (20 min from airport) luxury suite/villas with private dipping pools, a secluded and private beach, large infinity pool on a cliff and great food and service, and did I mention a Spa… PS make sure to have a front wheel drive or AWD to get here.

This property is in an area far (20 -25 minutes) from most of the villages, restaurant areas and shopping. It is very hilly, and requires driving down dirt roads for an extended period of time to.access. There is no place to walk around unless you like climbing steep hills or taking a buggy everywhere. But if you want a place completely off the beaten path this is it. And the area above the beach cove is gorgeous. It is not a five star property in my opinion and the service was very hit and miss. There were numerous things in our room which did not work. And then just silly things like a dock to jump off to swim at the beach. But the ladder to get back up had been hijacked off a row boat and made getting back in way more difficult than necessary. There were many things at Milos Cove that were more difficult than necessary. Hopefully, they are just growing pains, because it certainly is one of the better places on the island to stay.

We spent 2 nights at MILOS COVE during our 3 week vacation, where we stayed at other 5 star resorts throughout Greece including, Kivotos in Santorini, Kalesma in Mykonos, Acro Wellness Suites & Domus Renier in Crete, and King George in Athens. I would rate every other hotel a 5 star and MILOS COVE a 3 for these reasons. Arrival: We received information regarding the dirt road prior to arrival and rented an SUV. Regardless of this, it is VERY difficult to find the hotel with no road signs on treacherous one lane dirt roads. We did make a wrong turn and it took us over an hour to try to find our way using navigation which was not always updating due to service on the mountain. There should be signs directing guests to the hotel off of the main road and more direct instructions with a drawn map on how to get to the hotel. The golf cart guys are very friendly and helpful. The check in is AWFUL! We walked into a DARK sterile room and stood at a counter to check in. There was no offer for cold cloth, welcome drink, or comfortable place to sit. We then received a tour of the facilities which was fine, but quite honestly we just wanted to get to our room and relax. The room or the pool patio is where check in should be. The pool view is beautiful! The metal cabanas however are bad! They shake and make a constant annoying rattling noise that does not allow you to relax. The fact that the pool is only open when the lifeguard is there from 11:00-6:00 is ridiculous. No other pool opened at 11:00 or required a lifeguard to be there to use. It is an adult only resort?? The lifeguard and bartender at the pool were very friendly. The spa tour was weird, describing rooms to sit in and meditate. The gym is poor. Not much there and what equipment they have is old and beat up in a dark dungeon like room. The pool suite we had was not at all private. You can easily see into the rooms next door. There was a dirt road directly in front of the pool, ruining the view of the sea where staff drove. The suite itself is impractical and plain. No labels on any of the switches which we were constantly turning on all the wrong lights. The mini fridge has nothing in it but one bottle of water, which they promote as a special bonus you get each day. No snacks. No robes. No comforter, sheets only on the bed. The amenities are cheap Garnier. There is no counter space in the bathroom, the sink takes up every bit of the space. The shower leaks a large amount of water into the bathroom area. There is a sign on the beach towels telling you if you take them you will be charged $40 per towel - TACKY. A bottle of champaign was included in our package. After arrival we received a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and 2 worn out plastic glasses. We did not receive any other food treats as in every other hotel. No beach bag or hats, we did receive a string bracelet that was supposed to take away any bad feelings. The staff at the restaurant are unprofessional and unfriendly. One waitress br
Response from Property: Dear Mr. Grilliot, As we replied to your partner’s review as well, we are sorry that you felt the need to leave such a strict review, particularly as it seems to be influenced by the request you made during high season to modify your non-refundable reservation from three nights to two and receive a refund for the third night. Unfortunately, we had to decline due to our policy and the high demand during this period. We believe your review should reflect a fairer evaluation of the hotel, as it appears the issue comes from our cancellation policy, which was also mentioned by your partner in a separate review. DO NOT BOOK. Only worth ½ or even 1/3 of the price. Do not be misled by the pictures. Yes the view is wonderful, however where on Milos isn’t it? Read the Average, Poor, & Terrible reviews, everything said is true. A €70 or €80 fee to get here, or to leave to anywhere. The owner is perpetually sitting with a group of friends, chainsmoking. *The rooms are definitely not luxury, nor 5 star.* Hard to have privacy here, read the reviews. The food is good, but very expensive. Greece is the trip of a lifetime, your accommodations should ADD to the experience, not detract.

We were generally happy with our stay. Here are a few things to consider. THE GOOD The views are stunning. The food at the restaurant is limited but delicious. The infinity pool is huge also with great views. There is a rocky private beach with typical gorgeous water at the bottom of the hill. We took a full day boat tour which picked us up from the hotel which was great! The staff were friendly, some truly exceptional. THE NOT SO GREAT This was the most expensive and least nice property I stayed at during a three week tour of the islands. I would call it "luxury light". Some of the details could use upgrading, ie. the pool and beach lounges were average at best. The service, including cleaning, was more average than good. The functionality of the guest accommodations were less than ideal. The property is out of the way which was good for me but may not be for some. Overall, it would have been a perfectly nice experience for 1/2 the cost.

A very beautiful and sophisticated hotel on a magnificent part of the island. Spectacular views from everywhere. Food and service were superb - special mention for Fotini who arranged all of our outings. I highly recommend this hotel for couples or families.

the property itself is very interesting, you go from the brightest most beautiful sun int the dark dungeon of a reception. The staff are all lovely, they just look exhausted from the terrifying drive in thru the area of archeological interest that you drive thru to get to the hotel. to me it was just awful roads and what could be a very dangerous drive in the dark. if you like influencers and fancy blingy pretentious hotels, this is the place for you. I would say it was one of the most soulless hotels I have stayed at.

I am not usually a reviewer but felt compelled so others may take caution. Design of hotel and rooms are very nice. Otherwise the whole place simply does not work. Biggest issue that I should probably seek legals on is they charged €500 on my cc without my authorization. Service is appalling but appears never to be setup properly and staff lacking training. I come from a 5* service background and each evening to be told at 10pm that desert was not available because last orders were at 9pm is almost comical. Every restaurant in the world defines last orders as new covers...ie. a new order start to finish not existing diners that came in at 8pm. We were told lunch was unavailable one day until 4/5 and when you cannot go out that easily, we found ourselves on a forced fast on holidays.... If you order fries with your main course, be prepared for them to come out as another course between starters and mains...not joking here. When you arrive you must wait for the owner to give you a 45 minute introduction before you can even get to your room. This is essentially there biggest issue....it gives away any sense of a well run operation. Hotels with this level of investment generally don’t have the owner parading around in normal clothes, not working and making staff nervous. From my observations it appears the idea for someone to build there own dream hotel was great but without experience in running one, the execution was appalling. The website, social media and branding has clearly been invested in but the operations has most certainly not so PLEASE BE WARNED.

Getting there is an absolute nightmare. The road is a disaster. If you don’t have an off- road vehicle, you will not able to reach the hotel. Additionally you can’t find it because the road signs are not enough. The most important is that the taxi cabs don’t accept to get you there, because of the bad road. They say that they will damage their cars. Of course there is no parking for the visitors cars. The one phone number of the hotel didn’t work and the other one doesn’t exist. When we finally manage to talk to someone from the hotel, they told us that they will send a van to take us from the airport and this van came to us 1 hour later.. About the hotel now, you can easily understand that they built it very fast and has a lot more to be done. The staff is completely unprofessional and has no idea what to do.. (the first day that we came here the receptionist begging one of the workers to drive the electric cab in order to go to our room. When we reach our room the receptionist started to chat and flirting with the worker-driver..) We cannot even sleep because they started make renovations outside of the villas from 07:00 am. The room service has no program and open the door of the villas whenever they want without warning you. The breakfast has two types of bread one type of cereals milk and cake.. Nothing else. If you want to eat something more you can choose from the menu (10 plates with eggs). For sure it’s a hotel that doesn’t worth the money. For sure we will not come back. And if you want to spend your money there are surely other ways to do it!!

We booked a 4 night stay with this hotel and had to leave as soon as we could due to poor facilities ,rude unhelpful staff , low quality food. Our room wasn't cleaned at all and our breakfast was still there in the room 24hrs later. The road to the hotel is appalling and to get down to the beach don't even try it. I have absolutely no idea how this hotel can claim to be operating at a luxury level. Such a shame as Milos is a beautiful island this hotel ruined our visit there for us. Book somewhere else !!!

My wife and I booked this trip several months ago. As my wife is late in her pregnancy we wanted to chose an upscale hotel as we would be spending a lot of time poolside and on our deck. We were pleasantly surprised with the pictures of the hotel but a little nervous with the mediocre reviews and low cost for a so called 5-star. Against our better judgement we booked it. Fast-forward to today (one week prior to departure), Our travel agent was nice enough to reach out to ensure there was transport to and from the Hotel . The response she got was "Due to technical difficulties and setbacks due to archaeological discoveries on the property , they have closed early for the season"... I am trying to swear on this post, but seriously ?? Set backs and difficulties and archaeological discoveries ?? Is this #^% Jurassic Park? As we already have non-cancellable flights and Ferries and have yet to find anything on the island, we'll be sure to stop by and help in the big dig! As a 5-star hotel you MAY want to reach out to your valued customers when you cancel their room just days before arrival, I think even a campground would extend this courtesy. See you next week. Horrible experience. I am not one of those people who goes and leaves a review each time I am displeased with service. I am a very understanding person and usually give people the benefit of the doubt. Honestly, this is my first time leaving a review in general. I left the hotel so offended and upset that I feel obligated to warn others and leave this review. The hotel property itself is beautiful. I am giving this property 2- stars just for that. But the hotel manager was extremely rude, terrible at costumer service, and literally lied to my face. I was staying there for my birthday and booked 3 nights stay. The last day a windstorm blew in and grounded my ferry from leaving for 2 more days. I spoke with the hotel manager and he told me that they would give me a better rate than what I paid the first few nights due to the unexpected inconvenience. When it came time for checkout I received the bill and they were charging me more than what I paid my first 3 nights! I thought surely this was a mistake since this man told me to my face that they would accommodate me at a better rate. When he came to speak with me he raised his voice and began to argue with me. Telling me that since I work in the industry obviously I should know how it works. When in reality since I work in the industry I know it is never ever under any circumstance okay to argue with a costumer. I am the special events coordinator at a 5-Star property. I know that when you are paying for a 5-Star hotel you should be receiving the upmost respect and service. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I will never go back or recommend this property to anyone I know. I have stayed at hostels with better service. This property has great potential but will never succeed it’s expecations with somebody like that in charge. Very disappointing.

On the most remote part of the island, I thought that it would be a relaxing escape. Instead, you get the feeling that you are trapped. The hotel fully exploits this fact with a cruise ship/amusement park mentality. The food ranges from alright to gross, but always overpriced (I’m from NY and have no issue paying $15-$20 for a hamburger, but it should be edible). Of course, given that you need to rent a car and spend an hour round trip to eat anything else, people buy them. The staff is not rude, as much as they just don’t care. Example: the cleaning staff not even bothering to close the door when they left (was swinging open) OR leaving rotted fruit in your room. The builders of the resort might have shared the attitude, since the “modern features” have gone terribly wrong. The janky, non descript switchs and poor design scream “broken toy” not high tech space. I thought about abandoning the room and getting another, but the island is packed. The pool and view are great, though, so if this is the only place left, don’t worry — just pack your own food and snacks!
