Masterpiece Hotel

From the moment we arrived at the Masterpiece Hotel, we knew we were in for a treat. Our room boasted a stunning view, and it was the perfect backdrop for relaxing after a day of exploring Morro Bay. The customer support was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff always willing to go the extra mile. Speaking of treats, the breakfast was a delightful surprise. Fresh pastries, yogurt, fruit, and the amazing make-your-own waffle station had us fueled up and ready to take on the day. The waffles were truly a highlight - fluffy, crispy, and customizable with an array of toppings. It was a fun and delicious way to start the morning. Beyond the view, breakfast, and customer service, the overall experience at the Masterpiece Hotel was awesome. The room was clean and comfortable, the public spaces were inviting, and the location was perfect for walking to restaurants, shops, and the beach. We truly felt we were staying in a masterpiece itself! If you're looking for a beautiful and comfortable place to stay in Morro Bay, look no further than the Masterpiece Hotel. We highly recommend it and can't wait to return!

We were looking forward to an overnight stay-cation in Morro Bay and Masterpiece Hotel did not disappoint. Thought not near the water, the location was quiet and very clean. We were pleased to see extra electric outlets for charging, which is so necessary with the multiple electronic devices we carry these days. In particular, the front desk was extremely helpful with everything that we asked for. The continental breakfast also included fresh made waffles, good coffee, fresh fruit selection and yogurt. It was more than the description implied. The bed was comfortable and the towels soft. It looks like the property has been updated and made for a comfortable stay. Not luxury bet well worth the cost. Thank you to the staff and definitely recommend for the price, location and good clean hotel.

Stay away from room 104!!! It's a nightmare!! The room is literally next to the breakfast room, so get ready to wake up at 7 am by all the noises from kids in the breakfast room.. at night time you won't be able to sleep because of the noisy guests upstairs!! Stay away!

All of the staff is so kind! the breakfast was great and the service was even better. definitely would stay again!

Fantastic stay!!! From check in to check out everything was perfect. Check in staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Room was bigger and better than expected. Loved the wine hour and we really enjoyed the spa. Breakfast was everything you could want - waffles, coffee and fresh yoghurt. The only improvement would be for the gym to be open before breakfast. Thank you for a fabulous stay. We highly recommend and would return!

The stay and price were amazing The front desk man when I checked in was nice. The lady at the front desk when I checked out was the sweetest happiest lady ever! I can’t wait to stay again in the future!

We stayed couple of nights and we had low expectations given its a 2 star hotel.. But we were surprised by how clean they had kept both room as well as the property. We booked a King bed with hot tub and everything was printine clean. Staff was also very friendly where they gave us bottled water when we asked and when the heater was not working, they came immediately and fixed. it was just a minor issue. The only thing it could have been better is internet connectivity. It wasn't a high speed internet and connecting two or more devices would make the connection unstable. Otherwise no complaints about this and we would definitely come again for the in room hot tub.

Our stay at the Masterpiece Inn was wonderful experience. The services were very welcoming, the room was comfortable, clean and cozy. A return trip is definitely warranted.

Comfy little spot. Loved the art work, the fire place in the room😁and the sauna/hot tub.
