The Glen Mhor Apartments

We had a wonderful stay! The view of the river was stunning. The meals were excellent. The service by all the staff was kind and welcoming. We loved the breakfast staff each day. We were easily able to walk to many locations. Our room was clean and comfortable. We highly recommend and would love to stay here again.

I absolutely loved this place. Our room was right above the check in which was super convenient. Huge room w/ amazing view. The staff were super friendly. The whiskey distillery was beautiful & the bartenders were very knowledgeable & funny. At breakfast find Elenor, the manager & a highland cow (her words), she has great travel trips & is an incredible person. Find her!!!

Pros: The hotel is at a great location. Food is Ok. Room size OK Cons: Staff is very rude, no hospitality, very bad experience. Bathroom door latch broken. No intercom in the room. No complimentary toiletries If you need extra tea bags or coffee sachets you will feel that you are asking for gold biscuits from them. Check in time 4 pm which is very late. At the time of check in they didnt inform that they take late check out charges after 11 am. No grace time for check out..which is very strange. Just minting money as much possible from the customers. There are other cheaper hotels in the same location, which one can opt. Overall will not recommend!

Beautiful hotel, staff in main hotel were fantastic, food amazing breakfast extremely good. Spoke to a young knowledgeable lady who works in there, said her name was Hayley and that she worked in the sales depar**ent, small but very helpful and a credit to the buisness. She recommended a visit to the tap room and mentioned the beers on tap as well as tours available (never had time in schedule for tour but did visit bar). Will definitely return to hotel again.

The bed in our room was terrible. It was a lumpy mattress on a creaky divan with sheets that didn't fit. We complained to reception after the first night and were told they would send someone to fix it. We checked in with reception on returning to the hotel and were told it had been fixed. When we got back to the room the problems were still there. There are no phones in the rooms and our room was in a separate building so we either had to get dressed and go out to speak to reception or put up with it. We complained again after the second night and asked to speak to the manager, who apparently wasn't around. We asked for the bed to be changed or for us to be moved to another room. We returned to our room late and again nothing had been fixed. On checkout we asked to speak to the manager who wasn't aware of our complaints but seemed to be aware that the beds need replacing. He said that he couldn't give us a refund as we had booked through a third party and that we wouldn't have been able to change rooms as none were available in the price bracket of the one that we had paid for. We left feeling shattered. We stayed at this hotel in 2018 and had a lovely stay but I won't be rushing to stay here again. It's gone downhill and needs a refurb.

Was a last minute booking for a night out in Inverness. A great location and the reception staff were lovely. It was a Saturday night and they had a dj playing, was a lively atmosphere, which I enjoyed. Onsite parking which was greatly appreciated and told how to access this when checking in. The only very small gripe I had was there was not one mirror in our actual room, just the bathroom and for two girls getting ready for a night out it was greatly needed. Breakfast was included in the price which was in the waterside restaurant, not a huge choice and the dining room was very packed with tables very close together but the staff were lovely and helpful. Would recommend and stay again.

Stayed at Glen Mhor for a night after the Etape bike race. Was staying in one of the converted residential houses, rather than in the main building Same feedback to prior reviews. Staff were very charming and helpful. Location is excellent. The room itself was tired. The carpet was tread-bare at the junction with the bathroom. It certainly does not feel “special” in any way, which is part of the joy of a hotel stay.

The location is great and the staff are nice, but single rooms are expensive and very small. My room was above a kitchen and loud music started very early in the morning

We had a 2 night stay at Glen Mhor whilst travelling through the Highlands. Our room was comfortable, the staff very friendly and the location is absolutely perfect. The only thing I will say is the walls are very thin and we could hear the person in the room next door snoring. We have totally fallen in love with Inverness and the Highlands!
