Hotel le Nice Etoile Reviews

Hotel location was not fare from central ville, i had been with my brother. hotel room was small but neat and clean with all basic amenities. we were there 1 hour before check-in time (14h00) but also lady in reception counter helped to put our bags,gave map and information to visit the place of attractions nearby.

The hotel was clean, felt safe and the staff were really helpful and I enjoyed my stay there. Quite central for all the sights of Nice too.

Pros: 1. Great location. Everything is at pretty walkable distance. 2. Front desk people are nice and friendly. Cons: 1. Rooms are too small. It is so small that you can't even open a luggage totally. 2. They charge 9 Euro for breakfast but all they provide is basic bread, mini croissants, cereals, milk, juice and machine coffee. 3. No elevator and it was hard to carry luggage to the third floor using the stairs.

The room 11 is quit n enough space for us its a good price. The reseption are very serviceminded both Angelica and Salme. They make our stay pleasant and fantastic

The staff are very friendly, location is great, breakfast is limited but great quality, BUT! The rooms are super small and tiny, including the toilet. I would accept this in normal conditions but the photos didn’t show that rooms are such small. There is no space to put luggage, there is space to walk around the bed, also the bed is very tiny, and sitting in the toilet will make my knees touch the wall!

Nice people running it but bad street more run down area. Rooms are extremely minimal. One sheet for a blanket and very bare bones. It felt more like a hostel than hotel. Very loud at night with garbage trucks running constantly.

3night break for World Cup Rugby. Loved Nice and hotel very convenient for all transport. Little bistros nearby were good fun.

Amazing staff, who were very helpful! Room was clean but very basic, only a bed and wall unit small dressing table and chair, with small bathroom. No where to put anything. If you were staying more than 2 nights it’s not really suitable. When I booked I thought we’d booked a balcony. So we could sit and have a coffee and some breakfast. But no balcony. And looked out onto a wall. Great central location, close to everything.

Bit of a mixed review. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. They were lovely throughout. The hotel itself was perfectly fine just lacking a little bit. We only used the hotel as a base to explore the city from at it was fine in this regard. The neighbourhood was very noisy though so it was difficult to sleep, the beds did not help with this either. Only other complaint would be the Wi-Fi which didn’t really work at all and when it did was very limited. Overall a decent place with friendly staff.

Had one of the worst experience in my life.Staff are terrible....front desk girl were worst and impolite and her behaviour shocked me she shouted at me because she didn’t know how to cancel reservation in hotel’s program. I asked her for late check out (1 hour) and she said ok and next day they brought my staff to reception, I had packed my suitcase. I apologised and shocked because I asked her for late check out and they could charge for extra hour instead of shouting.

Good location, close to the tram station and lots of restaurants. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming especially Salma at the reception desk!!!! Room was a little small but ideal for a short stay, however the bathroom was poorly designed. Overall had a great stay and would recommend:)))

This hotel is close to the beach, the old city and Main Street (Jean Medecin). It was comfortable and very nice to stay. Our room was small but comfortable and great AC. What made the whole experience so great was the wonderful young woman at the front desk, Salma. She was very welcoming and helpful! Our interaction with the other personnel was short but very nice as well. We recommend this hotel!

Fantastic place fantastic location and extra fantastic staff

Hotel was perfectly fine. Small rooms but clean, walkable from the train station. Staff kind and helpful. The bathroom had a strange folding door that was very hard to open and close, kind of a fire hazard. No elevator so pack light!
