It was absolutely fantastic. An old Villa transformed in a boutique hotel with great personality. It is like to be at home but even better! Many languages are spoken there! Rooms are gigantic and furniture is practical yet with a neat design, although the rooms look very romantic. The cosy lounge at the first floor with the balcony and the garden outside complete the picture....

Disappointed - looked as if it promised so much. Room was modern but cheap curtains, furniture and fittings and no air con or kettle. Noisy as on a main road and diners leaving late in the evening plus the kitchen emptying bins meant sleep before midnight was impossible. Food was supposedly Michelin standard - we have eaten in many Michelin star restaurants and the food was not up to standard - prices were though! Starters at about £18 a head were ok but not great - smoked mackerel fillet with accompanying mousse and salad, tomato and burrato salad with foccacia. Mains at around £40 were vastly overpriced - Luke warm, tough lamb, cod with fennel and artichokes - nothing outstanding and large portions. Breakfast was uninspiring - overcooked scrambled egg in a pot on the side, fruit salad that was brown at the edges, dry bread and £400 for dinner, bread and breakfast - won't be staying again and can get so much better.

The Hotel Restaurant Auberge looks rustic and well-kept from the outside. The dining room inside seems rather sober. I found the reception and the service at the table to be rather cold, I felt there was a lack of inner enthusiasm. The 3 lunch menus are the same all week. However, it is also possible to choose something from the dinner menu at lunch, which is what we did. Our chosen dishes were rather small but of excellent quality and really excellently combined, you could almost feel the 15 Gault Millau points. Of course, all of this has its price, but it is absolutely justified. The matching red wine "Tenuta Le Colonne" also complemented our dish perfectly. All in all, a great lunch for a special occasion.

I'm from Langenthal and have lived in Zurich for a long time. But I visit my parents regularly and enjoy staying at the Auberge every now and then. It's simply a beautiful house.

We stayed for two nights in a beautiful room, very well maintained and with a great atmosphere. Our food was heavenly with attention to detail. The homemade jam at breakfast was a dream... especially the Reneclaude jam was unmatched 🕺🏽 I would have happily stayed one night longer for that alone... of course everything was delicious but 10 stars for the homemade jam from me 😋 Thank you to everyone who made our stay so wonderful 🍀

There is no reception when you arrive, only an envelope awaits you. I had a bedroom and a bathroom (private) but opposite my room. I didn't see it during my reservation.
Very hot night with room facing the street with traffic that starts early. Friendly staff at breakfast with good service.

Very friendly, attentive staff, beautiful, large, tastefully and lavishly furnished rooms (we stayed in the suite, wonderful, at a very reasonable price), excellent soundproofing, you couldn't hear anything from the street passing by. Excellent restaurant, we ate in the cosy garden on a warm summer evening, unbeatable. Impressive, carefully selected wine list with a large range. Saddle of lamb as a main course: excellent, starter and dessert also great! In short: everything can hardly be surpassed, can be recommended all round.
