The service environment is good, but the traffic is inconvenient if you travel independently

So, this hotel is quite far from the station, which is fine to enjoy nature, but there is absolutely nothing around it to get drinks or food. So we had to use the hotel buffet for our dinner time. It was super expensive, kids must pay the same price as adults. And you need to add more money for drinks. The web site mentions more than 30 dishes, and it's a lie. Overall the food was just ok. Really no worth the price. If you have tattoos you cannot use the onsen. It's not written on the website, which is a shame because that's the reason we chose this hotel. The room was small, and the mattress was super hard, it was really uncomfortable. The bathtub on the balcony was the only positive point of the stay.

I stayed in a double bedroom with an open-air bath. The hot spring felt good on my skin and felt good. The meals were buffet style for both breakfast and dinner, but they were very delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed them. The accommodation fee is also cheap and I would like to use it again when I go to Nikko.

The baths (indoor and open-air baths) are outside the hotel, so it's difficult to move around if it rains. There is no place to get water or drinks in the lobby or in the baths, so I would like to have that kind of service.

Booked for 2 consecutive nights with 2 meals. It's my family's fault for having overslept at breakfast on the first day, but we refused to accept it when it was 15 minutes before the meal time. It's a buffet and 15 minutes is enough in the morning, but they didn't even let me drink a cup of coffee. Surprisingly, the dinner menu is almost the same. I should have booked a good room, but the walls were thin, and it was noisy because I could hear people talking and snoring in the next room. The open-air bath in the room was very nice.

It would have been great if the mold in the open-air bath had been removed. Also, it would be nice if there was an air freshener in the toilet. The rice was delicious.

The food is generally cheesy. There was a crab, but it was a crab with a hollow body.

It was nice to be able to use the open-air bath in the room at any time without worrying about other guests. I could hear some noise from the next room. (especially when sleeping)

The price was 22,000 yen for one night with two meals. The room had a free-flowing hot spring, and the hot water was smooth without the smell of chlorine, and it felt good. The most delicious dinner at the buffet was Nikko Yuba and tofu mousse, and it was also delicious to eat ethnic curry with kettle-cooked ginger and Nikko tamari pickles.
