The Corner Properties Reviews

My wife and I had landed at Nantes airport but our luggage had not so we were very stressed on arrival! However, we were collected from there by Raphael who whisked us to Noirmoutier and the Corner in no time, and we really enjoyed a chat and a laugh en route. We cannot recommend the Corner highly enough in terms of the quality and standards of the accommodation, the food, and our hosts Raphael and Diane. The accommodation and dining which they provide is second to none and the use of the complementary bikes meant getting around the island was so easy. Raphael is an accomplished chef and his food was superb, not only for dinner, but also for the amazing breakfasts we had. Diane was also a fantastic host - coming to sit and chat outside with a couple of glasses of wine. It definitely is more like staying in someone's beautiful home than an impersonal hotel. We would love to come back soon to see everyone, including Sidney the dog! Thanks Raphael and Diane for a fantastic stay - we will be back (hopefully with our luggage next time!)

We stayed here for a week and it was beautiful . The house is serene and calming. We both found we relaxed within minutes of arriving. There is just something very special about this place. I would like to keep it a secret really ! However we would not hesitate to recommend it. The bikes included with the room are a bonus and we explored all parts of Noirmoutier, many beaches, 'markets' and restaurants. The local restaurants were very nice but by far the best chef on the island was Raphael, his food was outstanding and he was very flexible with the menu. If you stay at the Corner you must eat in, you will not be disappointed. Diane and Raphael the owners are just the nicest people. We cant wait to return ! Helen and Rick

This is an amazing find! Diane and Raphael were the perfect hosts and very helpful with everything. Hotel full of character The room was super.. and had everything we wanted. Very comfortable and spacious, excellent bath room.. Access to spa and sauna was wonderful. Secure parking with the hotel. Hope to come back soon! Highly recommended!

We stayed for 1 night on 30/3/22 and had a fabulous time. From the moment you enter the characterful and lovingly restored building, you are made to feel very welcome. Rafael and Diane are fantastic hosts, down to earth, relaxed and warm. The bedroom was stylish, airy, bright and spotlessly clean. The dining room is beautiful and really cosy, they had a fire lighting when we went in. Rafael prepared a delicious, fresh, well presented meal for us, washed down with an excellent Pinot Gris which was suggested by Diane. We've stayed at many places in France and the rest of Europe and this is right up there and deservedly so. So book here if you're planning on coming to the island. The only negative, we only stayed one night. Robert & Sarah.

SUPERBE SEJOUR grâce à Diane et Raphael. Leur acceuil est tout simplement exceptionnel. Cette maison d'hôte est magniquement décorée avec gouts. Diane a le don de mettre en valeur cette ancienne bâtisse. La chambre etait très jolie, TRES PROPRE. La literie impeccable. Nous avons diner à 2 reprises le soir et après nos visites, nous étions juste pressés de rentrer pour diner (Raphael concote d'excellents plats) et pour profiter de ce salon si cosy. Les vélos mis à disposition est un luxe: pas besoin de chercher un loueur et de rendre à une heure précise le soir après une balade les vélos. La maison est située à moins de 10mn en vélo du bois de la chaise et à 2mn de la plage. Un bonheur Nous voyageons régulièrement et cette adresse est tout simplement une adresse précieuse! Nous reviendrons très vite et nous comptons offrir pour Noel à nos parents un joli WE chez eux. Merci Diane et Raphaël pour ce séjour. Famille Maisonneuve

Wow, what can I say... don't hesitate and book this fantastic place before it's full. it's in a prime location (although although in busy August we had no noise issues at all), the building is old and full of character but nicely updated without losing its style , the rooms are immensely tastefully decorated and very large, the shower is great, breakfast is amazing, there is a hottub and a wonderful little garden... I don't know what else to say. everything was perfect. we didn't eat on-site but after looking at the menu we regret it, so book a meal too! one of the nicest places I've stayed so far.

Félicitations pour la qualité de l'accueil. La chambre était spacieuse et luxueuse avec tout le confort attendu. Nous avons vraiment apprécié le diner mais mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner absolument incroyable et délicieux. On se sent comme à la maison mais en mieux ! L'emplacement est idéal et les vélos compris dans la location sont un vrai plus.

Excellent séjour. Nous n'avons manqué de rien à Corner Properties. Les chambres sont parfaitement équipées. Nos hôtes étaient chaleureux et plein de bons conseils. Le petit déjeuner Maison concocté par Raphael, un vrai régal. Les vélos à dispo nous ont permis de vadrouiller dans l'île. Nous recommandons vivement cette escale ressourçante. Merci encore! Un accueil des plus chaleureux par les propriétaires des lieux. Un lieu sublime avec une terrasse très belle et calme, un intérieur très beau, une chambre magnifique avec une literie très très confortable. Le tout décoré avec goût. La cuisine est exceptionnelle. Nous avons pris le temps de dîner sur place et nous n’avons pas été déçus. Le chef Raphaël nous a préparé des plats raffinés, élégants, gourmands qui nous ont subjugués et nous ont fait voyager. Les petits déjeuners sont également préparés par Raphaël. Tout est exquis et copieux. Ce séjour nous a ravis !

Une adresse magique. De la décoration à la gentillesse de Diane et Raphaël qui cherchent à satisfaire leurs hôtes. Raphaël nous a gâté deux soirs avec sa cuisine de chef qu’il a été aux US. La qualité de la literie est aussi à noter. Que du bonheur!

Excellent accueil, emplacement proche du centre tout en étant au calme, chambre spacieuse, confortable et bien équipée, l'idéal pour un séjour sur l'île de Noirmoutier. Petit déjeuner gourmand avec des produits maisons, un cake aux pommes incroyable et des croissants maison originaux et délicieux!! Je recommande !!

Pourquoi y aller: localisation idéale, parking privé sécurisé, accueil de nos hôtes, petits dejeuners, tranquillité, literie, atmosphere & déco, propreté, musique, cuisine fabuleuse, jacuzzi, sauna, les bicyclettes, Sydney and the Cats ! Points d'amelioration : des vrais glaçons dans le seau à champagne et de quoi reboucher la bouteille - des grandes tailles de tong pour les hommes au jacuzzi

Super accueil de Diane et Raphael qui sont des hôtes charmants. Nous avons dîné sur place, le repas était délicieux et la salle est très agréable. Les chambres sont belles, propres et bien aménagées. L'hôtel est très bien situé dans le centre de Noirmoutier. La mise à disposition des vélos est vraiment un plus. Séjour parfait à faire absolument !
