Lots of nightlife tons of bars and nice mall clean hotel and up to date

The sofa bed is extremely dirty, but everything else is ok

Place was nice. Upgrade was awesome. Room needed a little bit more cleaning. Sink in room had a smell. Hotel had 2 elevators but only 1 was working. The one that wasn't working didn't have an out of service sign. But overall it was okay. The staff was wonderful and friendly.

The beds are not very comfortable. This includes the mattresses and the very thin comforter/blanket. Aside from that, hotel is in a good location and the staff is accommodating. Also, would you probably receive more reviews and feedback if you did not require a minimum of 200 characters.

Large spacious rooms great location. Clean and the staff is responsive. I love that it is walking distance to my favorite Norfolk restaurant Free Mason Abbey. Location is definitely the best aspect of this property. Elevators are slow and often crowded. which makes for delays if you are in a hurry

Very good, but missing a little bit. The people at the front desk are very nice. The breakfast is slightly better than the 'free breakfast' at the other chain. The parking at the parking garage across the street is convenient. Note that the garage is not secured, but that is typical in cities. The Chrysler Museum is a short walk away. The nightlife / restaurants are a short walk down Granby Street. It is about a 15 minute walk to the harbor. The light rail transportation is nearby. The room was nice. We were upgraded to a two room suite which was great. On areas for improvement: There should be wall hooks for jackets / hats to the right of the door. There is a need for luggage holders. We had to put ours on the kitchen table. One of the two elevators was broken. When trying to check out in the morning, the one elevator was full every time it stopped at the 4th floor. It took a while to get the luggage cart into a car. The light rail was LOUD in our room until late at night. We faced W. York Street, which should have been quieter than Brambleton.

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and genuine. The closet door was off track and when I called the front desk, they promptly sent the engineer upstairs to fix it. I have absolutely no complaints from my stay. I will definitely come back!

All the personnel we encountered were extremely friendly, professional, accommodating, and helpful. We were given early check-in and late check-out. The room was beautiful, well laid out, and clean. We quite enjoyed our stay. We would stay there again.

I had a fantastic stay at Marriott Courtyard Norfolk, VA. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the rooms were spotless and well-equipped, and the hotel offered excellent amenities. I felt safe with secure access and well-lit parking. Highly recommend for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

I had a fantastic stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Norfolk! I stayed here last night for a business trip, and everything was perfect. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, making it feel more like a home than a hotel. The full kitchen was a great bonus, especially for a longer stay. The staff was friendly, professional, and attentive, ensuring my check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to relax and focus after a long day of meetings. The location is convenient, with easy access to nearby restaurants and key business hubs. I highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travelers. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Norfolk!

This hotel is in a great location, it is clean and the service was great, very friendly. I would recommend with only one concern -the parking garage. It is run down (stairwell and elevator are skeevy) and does not feel totally safe sometimes going from there around the corner and across the street to the hotel. Also the bar code scanning did not work and each time I had to call the attendant (but they opened it up as soon as I scanned it again for them). Knowing this, if parking convenience is a high priority, it is very convenient, just not Marriott level.

Excellent service with great room and wonderful breakfast. The ladies at the front desk in Friday afternoon and Saturday morning were fantastic. Location perfect. This was so convenient to the waterside area within easy walking distance.

Overall a very nice stay. My room was clean and spacious. The room could use a little more light. I had some light bulbs out and they fixed right away. Dede in the breakfast area was amazing. She made sure everyone was happy and welcomed as well as the rest of the breakfast staff. The front desk personel was good when I checked in but the gentle man that works the desk in the morning was not at the desk. He was outside every morning while I was eating breakfast, and the guest had to look for him.

I was so happy that I was referred here by a member of Marriott Sheraton. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The women at the front desk were so nice to us, it felt like we were family and were happy to see us. It was nice to see Loraina from Courtyard Marriott where we had stayed months prior. Breakfast was plentiful but extra special with DeeDee checking on everyone as if it was her home. I requested a quiet room, and was not disappointed. I slept great, although my son heard the tram car on occasion. This hotel will be my first choice should I return to Norfolk.
