Lighthouse Suites Inn

The service was terrible. I did not get an ocean view room, they put us in a pet room that smelled like dog ****,the pool jucuzxi and sauna were broken. The whole building was under construction. Men staring and whistling at my daughters , dirty men with hammers and saws. The lady’s at the desk would not give eye contact and when they did they rolled their eyes. They said” it’s too bad that you have that room that’s because you used trip.com” “ you get what you get”. I have never stayed in such a place where the staff felt like they can abuse the costumers. I would like my money refunded or a voucher to stay somewhere else or I will never use this again . We also called the costumer service we booked from in line and they said “ sorry we cannot help you”

When we reserve the room it was room with view pet friendly Wi-Fi included and swimming pool we get there room was not pet friendly so we were switched Wi-Fi did not work and pool was being updated .

We visited in February and the hotel was doing some renovating. The part we stayed in was still clean without undue noise. Great Job

The view was nice and the room was clean however the bed was rock hard and very uncomfortable. Rented a room with a sitting area and couldn't even use the couch as it was so old you immediately get swallowed by it the moment you sit down. Both elevators were broken so 3 floors of stairs with heavy suitcases made it difficult.

Upon arriving they down graded our originally planned room due to water damages. Picked this room for our 18th year anniversary and then told elevator did not work and my ADA room on 2nd floor unexpectedly was by stay by taking the stairs which was an extremely difficult as i had a walker and multitude sclerosis and cant puck up my legs up stairs easily. Asked to speak to manager non on duty and took my information but could not compensate me although the going standard if hotel does not have your room or equivalent to your booking they have to put you up and pay. I purchased king bed jacuzzi sweet and all they didn't have any rooms available

The good: the customer service was great. The people that work there really were friendly and helpful. They were quick to answer questions and fulfill needs. The price was cheap/decent. The floor was clean, I didn't feel any sand or dirt on my bare feet. There was breakfast provided. The carts are very durable. The bad: The building is obviously in the middle of a ownership turnover. The WiFi was spotty. The pool/sauna/hot tub were closed without previous notice. The elevator was not in service, with notice. The fireplace didn't work, the heater wouldn't go above 62 degrees. The was no extra blanket or pillow in the room. Everything such as cups, coffee, towels, soaps, ECT... were all very cheap and flimsy. There was a breeze, not a draft, a full breeze coming in under the door. The breakfast room had the same crumb mess under tables from the previous day. Overall, it's decent. The room was clean and the nightly rate is cheap but if you're coming for the amenities, this place really doesn't have much.

I received an email after booking stating no elevator and pool, hot tub are closed due to upgrades. The pool and hot tub have not been functioning for over 8 months.

It was a pleasant experience, other than a non-working heater and absence of body wash in the shower. We used the fireplace for heat and was ok.

unfortunately there was no wifi in our room. also the furniture was old and in somewhat disrepair. I had higher expectations. The pool, spa and hot tub were shut down. Apparently there was an email telling us that but I missed it. I think it should be on their website. The staff was fine
