The hotel is beautiful, and we loved our room (Room 10). Thankfully, the chap at reception was strong because we had heavy bags, and there's only one way up to the room, via a wonderful wooden spiral staircase. Every single member of staff was delightful; everyone greeted us with a smile and was incredibly professional. There were also enough staff, and I mention that because I often stay in hotels (including very expensive ones) that simply do not have enough staff. My one criticism is that the shower gel ran out in the bathroom. This should be on the checklist before a room is 'ready for guests'.

This property set in a beautiful estate made for a wonderful stay. We stayed as a family with 3 young children and took a family room which had an extension with 3 little beds. For them the stay was also magical. Breakfast was elegant and delicious, and the service was superb throughout. The only disappointment was their restaurant Bistro which while the staff was very friendly and welcoming, the food was not matching the rest of the experience. I would still highly recommend a stay there.

This was a wonderful place to stay. A beautiful local and convenient (by rental car) to many chateaux and the city of Tours. It really felt like what I’d hoped a Loire Valley experience should be. The entire staff was courteous to a fault and all spoke English well. Don’t leave without having dinner in the restaurant gastronomique. The tasting menu may be too much for many diners but everything we had was wonderful and the service was impeccable.

Our first visit and it won't be our last. Beautiful property in stunning grounds. The restaurant is such a lovely place to eat the beautiful food. Great service. Couldn't fault it. We purchased a package which included a wine tasting, four course dinner with wines and breakfast buffet. Would definitely recommend.

Front desk staff is truly professional on top of being phenomenal individuals. Make sure to ask them advice for visits, food and ideas on how to make your visit of the Chateau de La Loire memorable. We experienced the before and after as far pointers for our trip - they made the difference. Place matches the standard - clean, neat and efficient with an original touch. Well worth checking it out

The property is very special and is kept in a very nice condition for guests to enjoy. The room was comfortable; there was slightly too much furniture for the size but we moved a chair or two around to make it work for us. The toilet and bathroom were on opposite sides of the room, which was mildly inconvenient, but we appreciate this feature was in the room description at the time of booking. The staff were very friendly and professional - maybe if they were just marginally more reactive it would be perfect service.

Great location, beautiful setting and very confortable rooms. Excellent service by a very professional staff. We liked the park and the swimming pool, we will certainly come back and highly recommend this hotel.

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at this property. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was wonderful, from the moment we booked until the completion of our stay. The 2 rooms our party of 5 stayed in were spacious, well-appointed and beautiful. The housekeeping staff has thought of everything that you might need. The grounds are a perfect place to unwind after a day exploring all the Loire Valley has to offer.

On the plus side, the hotel is set in a gorgeous park, at a convenient distance from many of the Loire valley castles. The room was nice (except that the soundproofing could be improved). The staff was friendly but not always professional. The breakfast was a big disappointment. You can get better choices and better quality at an Ibis hotel. We came away with the impression that the hotel is stuck in a 1980s French model.

Stayed for 2 nights. Stunning property , gardens, ponds. Beautiful walks thru the forest. Wonderful gardens. It’s a truely special place. The restraunt food & staff were also great. The place is meticulously kept. Top 10 places we have stayed. Ps our only complaint is that we booked a suite 12 months ago and requested a room with a view . But on arrival we had an average view - just looking to the back of the property over to a screen of trees and not an open view to the front to the pond & forests . When paying $750 euro per night and not getting what you asked (12 mths earlier) was disappointing.

Beautiful location, perfect for chateaux visiting. Mid May seemed to be between busy times, so some areas of the property we not set up or ready for guests. Rooms smelled like they were recently painted, opening the windows helped. Large comfortable room in the cottage, loved the private patio. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was excellent. Staff was lovely.

This inn is elegant and comfortable, large rooms, gorgeous grounds, excellent breakfast included. We were greeted with a glass of champagne while our luggage was delivered to our rooms. The terraces in front and back have beautiful views and are filled with birdsong. I thought the cookoo call was a clock, but it was a bird in a nearby tree! Sunset views, kind staff. I highly recommend this gracious location.

Loved our stay. Woke up to bird song and really peaceful to be surrounded by lovely woodland. Really friendly staff and felt like an amazing switch off. Went for long walks, used the gym and played platonque
