Excellent position, comfortable. Baker Hansen next door does fabulous cinnamon buns. Would be good to have more than 2 coffee pods, or warning to bring some with you.

Wonderful ambiance and location, welcoming staff and a fabulously well stocked kitchen made this an ideal pied a terre for a short stay in Olso, we will be back. Tram stop is just outside the door, great supermarket across the street, coffee machine in room and I would recommend the welcome pack which is surprisingly generously stocked.

As a couple, we had a long stay at Frogner apartments located at Camilla Collets vei 19 just a few hundred meters away from Skovveien 8. We stayed at Frogner apartments for 4 months from April 23 to early August 23 for work purposes. We rented a one bedroom flat, not a single room. The global experience was positive but we would like to highlight a few points so the future guests may enjoy a better experience: 1) When we initially booked online, we were told that upon arrival someone will be there to let us in the flat (at Camilla Colletts) and give us the pass cards. When we arrived on site with our 4 big luggages, no one was physically there to open the door and let us in. We had to go and fetch the pass cards at their local agency at Skovveien 8, hundred meters away from the rented flat. It is rather inconvenient after a long trip with four big luggages to handle. My partner had to wait on the street with the four luggages whilst I went to their local agency to get the pass cards. Not a very welcoming experience then. 2) The price of the rent per month is rather quite expensive but we knew it and still were happy to book it for our four months work stay. As for a long stay, you move with a lot of clothes and belongings. We only had three hangers available. When I enquiried if we could have some more, I was politely invited to buy them myself or to pay an extra cost. It might be a detail but when you pay that amount for renting I don't think that requesting a few more hangers deserved that type of answer. 3) All furnitures and different rooms were clean. We were quite surpised not to find a microwave in the kitchen. Why not including a microwave (which is now a basic kitchen furniture) especially when it is known that guests have booked for a long stay? 4) Despite the high price for renting, if you want a weekly cleaning of your flat, an extra cost is asked. We have been in other apart-hotels before and a weekly cleaning included in the initial booking price was ALWAYS performed. 5) When you book online, you don't know exactly which flat you are renting (1st floor? 2nd floor? balcony?), we were quite disappointed to get a flat on the ground floor with no balcony although it was specified we would be there for a long stay. 6) On our leaving day, we kindly asked if we could stay a little longer than 11 am (which is the standard leaving time) in order to match with our travel connection back to the airport to avoid us wandering with our 4 big luggages. After having stayed there 4 months and paid that amount, I think that would have been a fair "favour" to make on their side. That was declined as the roll over time had to be respected in order to provide the best experience for the next guests. I guess that the best quality of service for guests includes not welcoming them on their location site upon their arrival? Fine stay, nice location fairly central to all tourist attractions. Hallway was a bit dirty. Room was fine but lacked some basic amenities like paper towels.

Really appreciate the ladies in reception as they were super helpful. My partner and I had a wedding to attend to so we needed to check in earlier than 3PM, which was accommodated in a very kind way. The flat itself is very spacious and has everything you need for a couple of days. Moreover, there is a 7/11 on the corner and other places to eat around the area. It’s easy to get around by either bus or tram.

Great location in a quiet suburb just a short tram or bus ride to all the main attractions of Oslo. The bus stop is right outside the property and very safe and secure. There are little boutique restaurants and shops in the area and it is away from all the hustle and bustle of being directly in town. Although it was only a studio room we found it quite spacious and nicely setup even with a little kitchenette - every bit practical and perfect for 4 nights. Bed was so comfortable, WIFI worked well and it was very easy to process self check in when we first arrived. The shower had excellent pressure and it was nice to have the heated tiles in the bathroom as the bath mat was dry by each morning. Will definitely stay at this property again when we return!

first the shower has moving panels , water goes everywhere. No ammenities and if you ask for a towel they tell you have to pay . The same for soap, toilet paper ...No reception , and if you ask the personel, they will answer you bluntly that this is not a hotel. Far from center , need to take train or bus all the time . For the price they charge, you can stay at a very good reputable hotel

Very nice apartment. You can find everything you need there. It's a shop across the street, tram station. Close to the city centre. You can park in front of the apartments for 10 minutes, but on the side you can park for a long term (paid park between 9-20, except Sundays when it's free). Used the app Bil I Oslo for parking.

Bad breakfast, no room service (used the same towels for 4 days. The light did not work and it was dusty. Did I mention that we paid over 7300kr for 3 nights?? For that price I expect at least a clean towel. Not impressed.. My parents did also had to change room, and did not get ant breakfast as ordered. Then they got a message that they could have two breakfastes the next day??

We stayed in this hotel for 3 days, self chek-in was easy and quick, there were employees working in an office next to it. They are willing to help you if needed. Room was clean but differs a bit from the photos they have in their website. Building is a bit oudated and carpet in the corridors are old and with stains. Otherwise the hotel is okay. TV wasn't working well, we lost signal every 10 minutes or so... very annoying. Beds are comfortable and pillows as well. Hotel is very well located with good transport links. *The only complain I have is they take ages to reply to your messages, I wrote to them some days before arriving asking for a place to leave our luggage before check-in and they didn't give me a straight answer even tho they have a room in their 5th floor. Had to find our arriving to the hotel.

Recently booked to stay here, however, my Granddad recently passed away and i was unfortunately unable to go. Kamila Kindly allowed me to cancel free of charge which was she did not need to do. I will definitely be staying at this hotel next time I am in Oslo. Getting good customer service is quite rare these days and makes a huge difference. Thankyou so much Kamila and Frogner house team I really really appreciate your kindness

The room seemed ok until i noticed the very unclean things. The curtains had disgusting stains and it overall was not clean. The headboard had mold on one of the sides and the room ruined my stay. The room doesnt seem sanitary or clean at all. Will never be staying here again, you can Get a much better hotel with better service, breakfast and room for the same price as this. Would not recommend these apartments at Bygdøy allé 53. These photos only show the half of all of the stains and unclean conditions
