The layout of the room is very suitable for family travel. There is a master bedroom, a second bedroom, two bathrooms, and one of them has a steam sauna. The kitchen is equipped with all kinds of pots and pans, coffee machines, outdoor barbecue grills, etc., and the equipment is very new. The balcony of the master bedroom and the balcony of the living room face the sea. The environment is beautiful and the location is excellent. There are several highly rated cafes within a 5-minute walk, and the children's playground is also close at hand. It takes 2 minutes to drive to the boat rental terminal in the city center, and there are many options for sea activities. Our family of four had a very comfortable stay for five nights in late January. The best thing about the apartment was that it was very well equipped with everything you might need, almost as if you were at home - e.g. everything from a huge range of tea to things like cling film and aluminium foil, which meant you didn’t have to purchase your own for one time use. All of the appliances and the kitchen utensils were of good quality, as were the towels. Plumbed in filtered drinking water was much appreciated as the local tap water is not great. The WiFi was fast and stable, with no complaints from data hungry teenagers. The washing machine worked fine and there were a couple of drying racks and plenty of pegs. The location is excellent, with a good size supermarket less than 500 metres around the corner, plus a cafe and a takeaway fish and chip shop a few hundred metres in the other direction. Walking into Paihia for shops and restaurants was an easy 10 minute walk. Note that there is a steep driveway from the road to the apartments so people with mobility issues will struggle to walk this. The weather was generally good which meant nice views out to the Bay of Islands. Beach towels are available (no charge) for the duration of your stay, so one less thing to bring.

Super place to stay. Very clean and spacious with wonderful views.We loved the spa pool in our room and the extras, such as plenty of tea bags, paper towels , lollies and two heaters. These little things were very much appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

What a fantastic spot and apartment. Greeted by exceptionally friendly manager and staff who were very helpful. Arrived early and they still allowed us to go into the apartment. So clean and beautifully furnished - with all the little things taken care of - even down to extras such as place mats and egg cups as well as serving dishes. All the crockery matched which is a small thing but made the difference. We are now on our 5th week of traveling NZ and definitely one of the best apartments so far!!

Great apartment on the sea front. Apartment was extremely well equipped and the main bedroom with the sea view was was big and airy. Apartments are located about a 10 minute walk to the main area. Well stocked supermarket also around the corner.

The views are outstanding from our 2 bedroom / Hot tub apartment.The son of the owner is a treasure trove of information about where to go and what to see and the ladies/ staff are so friendly and keep this place so very clean.There are very few motels/ apartments like this one that have every utensil and implement in the kitchen that you could possibly need.They insist on cleaning your room daily and replacing all linen along with cleaning the fridge etc.The large outdoor BBQ overlooks the bay and was great to have that. The beds were soft,the shower instantly hot and the cost was very affordable.

Reasonably priced, comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, fully equipped kitchenette, bathroom, living room and balcony, with a spectacular and panoramic view of the bay. We stayed here for two nights and would happily have stayed longer.

We abosolutely love the place. The room we booked had great views of the beach. We will definitely come back again.

Best appointed apartments we have ever stay in. Great Location. Spa and bbq on balcony added to the experience. Young man with beard and young blonde lady were fantastic. Really helpful and pleasant however older gentleman needs to work on his Customer Service. Very highly recommend.

The Blue Pacific apartment was just delightful! Very well-equipped and extremely clean and comfortable with views across the Bay to die for! The on-site manager was extremely helpful with providing details of local activities and restaurants.

Great location with amazing view of bay!

I would have rated our studio apartment more highly, if not for the rudeness of the operator (owner) the morning we checked out. To give him the benefit of doubt, he was probably stressed out after a busy few days, when the apartments were all full. But there are no excuses for being rude to guests. We’d stayed 3 nights, paid in advance and on check in asked the woman at reception if it would be possible to check out a little later than the normal 10.00am on a Sunday. She kindly responded ‘yes’ as long as we were out by 11.00am. We were about to take our bags to the car and drop off the keys when at 10.15 our phone rang. There was no one on the other end. It rang again a few minutes later; again no one on the end; then it rang again and a very angry man told my husband that we should have left at 10.00. When my husband pointed out politely that we’d been advised we could check out as late as 11.00, the manager became rude and stated that the compendium said 10.00 and we should not have been told a later time. We departed hurriedly. As we drove out in our car at exactly 10.30, we observed several other guests departing at the same time! Whatever the misunderstanding between the manager and the receptionist, who checked us in, there is no excuse for being rude to guests.

Location and view were superb. Car parking was a bit tight but no biggie.

Quiet location, easy beach walk to town. Great facilities, plunger coffee, spa. Knowledgeable manager
