Roman-style folk hotel, varied breakfast and a little less plentiful dinner Spacious room comfortable bed Parking outside the hotel on the street, location found by chance as Google Map gave directions that led to the tombs of the kings (it always remains on that side but about 1.5 / 2 km before easily recognizable structure)

Nice hotel in the city. Ciekawy hotel w centrum obok plaży. Mały kameralny z bardzo uprzejmą obsługą. Nie jest to obiekt komfortowy, lecz czysty zadbany miejski hotelik z przepięknym małym zadbanym ogrodem. My chętnie wrócimy do niego jeszcze nie jeden raz

A cheap and cheerful hotel with a very over the top roman theme that makes this hotel unique. The hotel is basic but roomy, the breakfast was adequate but not to much selection. The bar looked nice but I did not try it. The location of this hotel is very good for exploring paphos.

This is a quirky hotel. Brilliant fun .Lovely staff and surroundings. Everything inside was painted either roman ,Greek or Egyptian artwork. Lots of mirrors. The breakfast could be outside if you wanted. I've not seen anything like it. It was just something different and a lot of fun ...Very clean too.Not many sun loungers though ,but pool was a good size ..

We've been to this hotel twice already. It's certainly a Marmite hotel (you love it or hate it) but we only really need a bed, a roof and a bar for an evening drinkie. So we booked our third stay for March, only to be messaged and told that due to court action, they were going to be closed down the day before we were due to arrive. So disappointing. I cannot find out why they've been closed down, but I do know the Mayor of Paphos has been ruling with a rod of iron recently (the shops along the beach have had all their awnings removed in the dead of night is an example) so perhaps its something to do with that. We managed to book another hotel, but as we were so late booking it cost considerably more than we really wanted to pay. The hotel owners did offer a different hotel at no extra charge, but that hotel was not as good, and it was a lot further away from where we wanted to be. Our hope is that they open again once they've dealt with whatever it is that shut them down as we liked the hotel a lot. However, they did use the words "irrevocably closed" so we're not holding our breath. Three stars given as it's a medium rating. I have given it 4 stars in the past.

Hotel cancelled without warning a booking for early May '23. Looking at their booking site they are not taking bookings for rest of the year. This holiday was booked over four months ago, they must have known they were going to shut down for nine months.

Hotel cancelled for no reason. Terrible communication, glad I didn't have the pleasure of attending in person! I wouldn't recommend booking here, highly likely to cancel on you just before your trip! Caused a major headache rearranging our holiday.

Perfect location and great value for money! Very interesting and unique design. Food was good and the room clean with comfy bed. Our room had a balcony with lovely garden view. There are parking places on the main street next to the hotel and also you can park right in front of the hotel on the small street, but its much harder to find a parking spot there, so we recommend to park on the main street. The restaurants, cafes, pier, shops and Tombs of the Kings are all in a slight walking distance. Across the road a big shopping centre. Great value for money!

The hotel in itself is full of charm but the experience is far from that. The staff on reception are not helpful the hotel is very over priced. Myself and my wife travelled in on Saturday 21st got to the hotel after a five our fight, checked in and asked if there was any food on offer to be told no the kitchen closed at six pm if you go out you may find somewhere no recommendations or directions given taking into account that I have a disability so distance is an issue. In the morning we got up for breakfast, this was a serve yourself breakfast but all the food was cold or Luke warm. I do not think it would pass food hygiene standards, I was due a delivery of a mobility scooter, so went to accept this we asked if there was a charging point for it only to be told there is a plug by your TV! imagine trying to get a mobility scooter into a small room, we tried getting into the room room but after looking at this, it would pose a fire risk as you would be falling over it to try and get out in the case of a fire alarm, luckily enough the man who delivered the scooter noticed a socket in the hallway which did not pose any threat to well being. The prices in the hotel were extortionate we asked for two English teas only to be shown a selection of herbal teas we asked if we could have English Breakfast tea as they had it at breakfast only to be served two earl grey teas in a small cup barely half filled we asked for milk and were given steamed milk and then charged five euros, the beer was two euro forty for a small half pint bottle. In all our stay we could not see if the restaurant was open but by judging breakfast and the service by the staff was awful so we managed to go out there was not a lot local you had to travel to find places to eat apart from a small local bar around the corner called Bens Bar which had basic pub grub and great prices and the staff were wonderful. If you are looking for an overpriced, and under rated vacation then by all means use the Roman Boutique (which it is far from in the name) Hotel. Me myself will give this a very wide berth, I scored one star as there is not the option to give minus. The whole hotel needs updating and staff trained, I only found one member of staff a young lady on the bar she was very nice and helpful but not long into the job so they may wear her down.
