Parga Beach Resort Reviews

Travelled as a family and we are a family that focus on the positives rather than the negatives. Stayed in Grand Bliss Suites which both had beautiful outside seating area. The whole hotel is very beautiful and full of greenery and flowers. Complimentary bottle of wine was a lovely touch. Hotel has a very relaxed vibe. Beach is beautiful and good service for beachside food and drinks. Also help with parasols etc. Also not far from water sports (additional charge). Several smaller pools in the hotel, all had very comfortable (luxury!), sun loungers and parasols. No pool side service in terms of drink or food, although you can get takeaway food from the beach bar. A negative of lots of smaller pools, was that it was hard for our daughter to make friends. Would say might be better for adult only holiday but there were children at every pool. Fridge in our rooms which was helpful, water only on arrival and glasses/cups not cleaned in whole of our stay. Other than that the rooms were immaculately cleaned daily (option to opt out). Grand bliss suites not suitable for more than 2 adults plus children. We were originally booked into one room (four adults, 1 child) which would have meant two adults and a child sharing a sofa bed. Managed to book another room last minute at an additional €1400 (approx). Mini markets/ATMs/bars/restaurants within short distance on Valtos beach side. A 30 minute steep walk both ways to Parga, but close to water taxis and easy to get road taxi from reception. We stayed breakfast only and there was a good selection and variety of food. However, self service for everything, including tea, coffee & water which is usually table service at this level of hotel. Juice watered down, drinkable but again probably not what you’d expect. Porter for luggage on arrival and departure highly efficient. We enquired about late check out but didn’t go ahead due to being fully booked. However; we were given time in a hotel room to use shower etc before departure. Room had fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel. Glad we didn’t pay €70 for late check out, Overall, we had a really lovely holiday and no major negatives but worth noting things that you’d maybe expect to be better for the price of this hotel. Parga itself did not disappoint.

Although this hotel is classed as 5* , I didn’t see any evidence of this in the way we were treated by the hotel manager when we complained about the amount of noise by young children playing around a hotel pool below the room we were allocated. It was 10.30 p.m when we were given our rooms and all the families were outside below us . Why put couples and people without children above what is going to be extremely noisy and it was like that for the whole week we were there. It was usually the UK guests that were given these rooms too. It does not say on the website that this is a total family hotel but that is how it appeared. I have never seen so many children and high chairs in a restaurant at breakfast at a time I would consider as low season ? . Thankfully we didn’t book half board ! On a positive notes the gardens of the hotel are absolutely wonderful with olive trees and rose gardens and flowering shrubs. They are extremely well maintained too. The staff in the restaurant for breakfast were very friendly and attentive with a good selection of food. The lights keeping the food warm though were very poor and the bacon always cold, which was disappointing. The hotel is situated next to a beach with a selection of bars , restaurants and supermarket within an easy walk. Parga itself is really lovely with its promenade and castle , but not easy for anyone with mobility problems. It is reached by a steep climb up to the castle and then down again the other side. Takes 30 /40 minutes to get there. I found it very difficult and so thankfully we could get a taxi for €6, but obviously those costs mount up and I missed not being able to walk without encountering a steep hill. So to sum up , it’s perfect for families with young children but could not recommend for older couples , or people with mobility issues if you want to explore the area. There are lots of small hotels in Parga itself. It would be good if an area of the rooms within this large hotel complex could be used for adults without children to ensure they are given the tranquility supposedly offered on their website , rather than the feeling you were staying in a crèche ! Not everyone wants to be around children all day and night .

I visited in Parga Beach Resort with my mother in 6th-13th of May (room 134) from Finland. We had ultra all inclusive. We can highly recommend this hotel for everyone who wants just relax. The staff (+ restaurant manager) took care of that we feels fine and their service was absolutely good! The service was so good that we had feeling that we are some kind of vip customers. Food was tasty and delicious in the buffet and also in the snack bar. My mum liked Mojitos very much. Beach and the whole hotel area were very beautiful and clean. We have ever seen so big roses that we saw in hotel. The best thing was that the hotel did not play the music in the beach and the pool areas - we could just relax and hear the sounds of birds and sea and also watch so beautiful sea views. Overall this hotel with beach was like paradise! This was absolutely best hotel where we have ever visited. And some day we definitely will come back. This was best holiday ever!

Great stay at this beautiful, peaceful beach resort next door to Parga, with a very comfortable suite, lovely location, friendly staff and good gym/ wellness facility. Perfect place for family visits, The only thing that could have been better is fresh orange juice and stronger coffee at the breakfast buffet We will surely return.

This picturesque town on the west coast of Greece is beautiful. The fort that overlooks the town is quite a uphill hike, but the view from there is totally worth the effort. There are numerous shops and restaurants along the way to break up the walk.

Excellent well run hotel which caters for couples and families alike.. The accommodation was a good size for a family of 4 and it was immaculate and left spotless daily by the housekeeping team. The buildings are set within beautifully landscaped and very well maintained grounds. We stayed on a B&B basis due to the many restaurants available within walking distance or the local water taxi into Parga itself. However we did eat at the hotel on 2 occasions and it was very good! The daily breakfast offered was fantastic and sets you up for the day covering every need! The staff cannot do enough to help and make sure you are well looked after. The beach is immaculate and beach beds aplenty with daily fresh towels. Refreshments are brought to your lounger via ordering on their app! Or by requesting from the friendly beach team. From Valtos Beach the walk up to the Castle and into Parga itself is perfectly doable but not at the height of the sun.. way too hot! but up to 10am or for dinner from 8.00/8.30pm it is a pleasant walk. We did it several times. This hotel is a must and it is nice to return to the calm after the hustle and bustle of Parga itself.. Would love to return.. Fabulous holiday! Definitely recommend!

This hotel is perfectly placed at the end of the beach. You can walk to the bars and restaurants within minutes. We walked to the water taxi and took the boat round to the harbour then walked back each evening which was perfect to walk off dinner! We hired bikes from the hotel for the day and cycled up to the top of the hill to the castle. We had a room by a small pool in the new area away from the garden rooms. They were beautiful, spacious and modern. We have booked to go back next year now too directly with the hotel. They provide airport transfers over so many nights. Breakfast has everything you expect but we didn't eat in the hotel for others meals, as too many other places to choose from. I would recommend the hotel!

We stayed in Lefkada Nidri for 2 weeks and tbh I was disappointed. We came by car to stay overnight and ended up staying 3 nights. We stayed at Villa Chrysanthi which I found on ***********. I absolutely loved this place. No pool but we wanted to explore. 5 minutes walk to the town. The town itself is so picturesque that I was so excited ( not the feeling I got in Nydri Lefkada) There are boat trips and beaches and cafes and restaurants. Souvenir shops. Loved it

Very nice hote, the gardens are very pretty and well kept. All staff are very professional and any issues we had were sorted immediately. The cleaning staff were very thorough and the room was spotless every day. Plenty of free sunbeds on the beach, and a beautiful view. Had B and B only as we like to eat out at the many restaurants in Parga but, the breakfast was always very nice with lots of choice to suit everyone. Also had a free upgrade to a suite with private pool, maybe as we were celebrating a big birthday, so we're very pleased. I would recommend this hotel.

WE HAD SMALL FAMILY HOLIDAYS AT THE END OF OCTOBER 2023. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. HOTEL,SERVICE,HOTEL STAFF,BREAKFAST,GARDEN etc CONGRATULATIONS TO THE HOTEL MANAGER AND THE OWNERS FOR THE QUALITY OF THE SERVICES. ALL THE EMPLOYEES WERE REALLY KIND AND FRIENDLY. WE RECOMMEND THE PLACE FOR RELAXING HOLIDAYS. BE SURE WE WILL COME AGAIN.

I love Greece in October and Parga just reinforced that passion. Parga Beach Hotel was fabulous. I had booked a room with a beach view from the balcony and it was sensational. The room was massive and the view was exceptional. The only drawback was the breakfast. Despite the quality of the produce, the hot food was never hot. Lukewarm fried eggs and sausage are not tasty. Regardless, if I ever return to Parga, I would stay here.

Amazing resort to stay at, would highly recommend staying here, wonderful staff beautiful beaches amazing views. The only negative was the pillows and mattress, other than that everything was excellent

Went last week in October (Half Term UK). The hotel and the area was very quiet which we loved. Many restaurants and excursions closed. The hotel is beautiful. The grounds are stunning. Fruit Trees everywhere. Got lucky with the weather which makes the experience better.

This resort is stunning. The people working here couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice. Having your own private beach was just delightful. Would 100% recommend this place.
