Hotel Design Sorbonne Reviews

Lovely little hotel, nice and local to the Latin quarter which does the best food and has a great nightlife. Close to the metro to get around, and some lovely breakfast places nearby. Hotel was clean, staff were fantastic and friendly. Bed was comfy. Downsides is it did not have a kettle, and the shower was a box, like you could put your elbows on both sides without stretching.

It’s ideally located near Sorbonne and Pantheon. Comfortable, staff very welcoming. The only thing is that the elevator is small and can only fit two people or one person and luggage at a time and as it is the only one it can be challenging at times to be able to call it to your level.

Cute little hotel in the middle of the city and convenient to local attractions. Staff is really nice and helpful!

We really truly enjoyed staying at the Hotel Design La Sorbonne . The staff was super nice and welcoming, the room was kept clean all the time and that makes a great difference once you go out and explore and you come back to relax. Breakfast was quite complete and a must have addition to add to your stay since you want to go and start your day with that Thank you for everything, if we go back we will for sure stay there

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean, beautifully decorated and had a wonderful view. We liked the location also. We would stay here again on a return trip.

The property is good if you are all about being outside the room. The room is very small. That was fine with us since we didn’t expect to stay in much. The breakfast is very limited. The staff was amazing. It was close to the metro and bus. Super easy to get to from the airport by metro.

Great location and close to the metro and restaurants. Rooms EXTREMELY small and the bathroom was so small that it wa hard to get to the toilet. But overall very clean and would stay there again.

Just came back from a lovely few days staying at this hotel. Lovely hotel in a very convenient area within walking distance from numerous places like Notre Dam. Super staff who were all approachable, friendly and helpful and lovely breakfasts. Hope to stay there the next time we visit Paris

This is the third hotel we have stayed in on that block. We love the area, but this hotel select property has been our favorite.

First, the staff working in the hotel is very, very nice & friendly- no doubt about that. But... You do not get what you see & what is advertised on the booking sites. For the "Superior Room" (which has nothing to do with the pictures at all) do not expect a view over the city (it's not guaranteed) a mini bar (that's a bottle of water), the possibility to boil water for a cup of coffee or tea. Furthermore the hotel has a humidity problem and you can smell it (like in many old buildings). Thanks to the beautiful Lady who cleaned my room perfectly, so that I could feel at least a little bit comfortable. So what was worth almost 300€ per night? The place where the hotel is located - that's it.

Cute, quaint rooms, big for Europe. Friendly staff. Beware if you have the hotel call a taxi, the taxi will charge 11.90 euro plus base fare just to pick you up. Staff did not seem very knowledgeable of the area with advise, but they did let me use the breakfast area for an important call and were very friendly. Great area, short walk to lots of cafes and shopping.
