The location is very good, the sanitation is qualified, the shower head is not bad, but the decoration is a bit old!

Great Philly location. Very walkable, with excellent shops, craft bars, and many top rated restaurants close by. The AKA provides hotel rooms with very small bathrooms, and larger extended stay suites. The rooms are gray and modern. Nice fridge, sink, and Nespresso coffee maker. Nice gym and cinema room for use. Front desk service was excellent and the connected bar and restaurant were also very good. The only negative is that the windows need to be washed and the bathroom corners need a god scrubbing. Sparse but comfortable for our weekend stay.

AKA Rittenhouse Square has a great location, right at one of the corners of the Square, close to all of the amenities of the area, particularly restaurants. However, although the hotel is fairly expensive, it offers few of the amenities you would expect for the price. There is no lobby and the chairs in the room were uncomfortable so there's really no place to sit. There were no extra blankets and only one set of towels. The heat in the room did not work and it got fairly cold over night. I would not stay there again.

Pros: -Convenient location -Kitchenette in-room with utensils, kitchenware, and appliances like small fridge, toaster, teapot, plate/bowls, glasses/mugs, and microwave -Nice, helpful staff -Quiet, despite being in a busy area Cons: -No parking (no garage nor validation), so parking at a nearby garage adds an extra $50 per day -No breakfast offered, which is another added expense -Shower has low water pressure and lukewarm temperature at best -Room is tiny -Too expensive

The location is the best, the staff is friendly but the amenities, cleanliness and housekeeping is not the best. I like to go to a hotel where services are included.

Comfortable, clean, relatively quiet, lots of space, good kitchen but needs a cutting board. Neighborhood suffers from typical urban ills but very convenient for us visiting relatives in Philadelphia. Staff super welcoming and accommadating. Well run place, would stay there again.

Property is not well maintained. Multiple items in the unit and the fitness center did not work.

I have stayed at the AKA Rittenhouse many times. It is probably the best location in Philadelphia-- overlooking Rittenhouse Square and right next to the best restaurants and shops in town. The apartments are spacious and comfortable. Like so much of Philadelphia, the building is old but beautiful.

This hotel is in such a good location. We drove in and there is parking across the street. It’s not part of the hotel, so you will pay extra, but it’s very convenient. The front desk was excellent, welcoming. On our last night, we did have trouble with our shower, but it was addressed and remedied immediately by the front desk staff. We were really happy to stay there and will stay there again when we’re back in town.

Very spacious suite equipped with everything needed to make our stay excellent. Staff was friendly and drinks were delicious at the A Kitchen and A Bar located downstairs. We will definitely choose AKA Rittenhouse hotel when we return.

The bathroom too small. If you are big, you’ll hardly fit in it…. For such a high rate they don’t clean your room.

This is by far my favorite place I’ve stayed on my many trips to Philadelphia. I will definitely stay here again on future trips. The suites are spacious, modern, well equipped, and centrally located in the city. We very much appreciated our suite upgrade as well. One gym machine and one dryer were broken but that wasn’t tragic. Items requested were sometimes delivered to our room and sometimes not. More t.p., dishwasher detergent, and trash bags would have been appreciated without having to request them.

Loved the location- lots of restaurants & shops. Loved the apartment style living. Will absolutely stay again!
