Beautiful view from the balcony. Great hotel with welcoming staff.

This is a great hotel. The staff cannot do enough for you. The food is very good. I mean really good !!!! We paid for a sea view. If you can pay the extra do it. It makes all the difference. Views are amazing. Breakfast or dinner was a joy. The hotel coach to sorrento center works well. We did miss the last bus one night and it cost €39 for a cab but it was worth it You cannot walk up the hill to get to the hotel. It is steep.

We had high expectations of this hotel and it did not disappoint. We loved: Staff were exemplary, Antonio was our favourite. Food, beautiful Italian cooking Rooms spacious and comfortable, upgrade to a sea view if you can. Well worth it. We went with Jet2. Highly recommended. Discreet entertainment some evenings. The hotel was beautifully Italian, style and hospitality. We would return.

Very clean, very nice staff and the facilities are amazing. Had nice breakfast every morning and the view is probably the best you’ll get in Sorrento. The pool also looked fantastic but it was a bit too cold for the time of the year we visited. Service in the room and the staff was great. We even got an amazing deal for a boat trip to capri and back from the hotel staff

Our hotel experience probably illustrates the point that different hotels suit different people as everyone has their own things that matter to them. We didn’t mind the fact that the hotel was out of the town centre and therefore up a steep hill. We used the courtesy bus or walked. The trade off was that the hotel was lovely and quiet (no piped music in the restaurant either) and the views were spectacular. Everything was spotlessly clean and the staff very friendly. What let the hotel down for us was the food. As other reviewers have said, it was not always hot enough. In addition, there was not enough of it, although on one occasion I did ask for more potatoes and vegetables and was given them. But each day there was only one vegetable on offer. One day it was cauliflower, another day it was red pepper, another day broccoli etc. In an attempt to increase her vegetable intake one of our party ordered grilled vegetables and cheese which was offered as a main course. Unfortunately it was served cold (the menu did not say it was a salad) which was something of a surprise. This is the only hotel holiday I have ever had where I lost weight! (I’m female, 5’10” and 9 and a half stone, so not overweight. I wouldn’t say I eat huge amounts). If the food issue could be addressed I would give this hotel an excellent rating.

From arrival to departure we were treated very well. The hotel is beautiful, clean and very welcoming. We decided to not eat out in the evening in Sorrento as the standard of food in the hotel was magnificent.We wish to thank some members of staff in particular for making our stay so wonderful. Firstly, to Luigi, Antonio, Francesca and Giovanni for making our mealtime so special. They were all very friendly and professional. We looked forward to our evening meal each night. Our evenings and afternoons in the bar area were again a lovely experience. Antonino was welcoming and made fantastic cocktails.Some evenings had a pianist playing in the bar which was lovely. We need to commend your staff on the happy and relaxed atmosphere they all provided during our stay. We spent some time in the Spa and Marco was just a delight. He was caring and very good at his job. Always asking how we were and smiling. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for your holiday. It is a bit of a climb to the town centre if you choose to use the wee path but the shuttle bus(which is free) is excellent. The only downside is the pool was very cold but it was April.

Older style hotel but with the most amazing views! We arrived late at night and check in was fine, nothing elaborate and we were shown to our room...which wasn't a room we were put in a suite that was attached the separate villas building. It was on the ground floor with a balcony area. Room was clean, big, bed was big, bathroom a good size but everything was a little dated. The breakfasts were standard buffet style and you had to wait to be seated - obviously, the tables outside on the balcony are hard to get but we managed both mornings. Couldn't get a coffee one morning because the self service machines were all broken. It was definitely free for all and there were lots of package holiday tourists there who were given all the attention from staff, especially those that are returnees. We were out most days/nights so did not eat dinner here. The pool was quite small for a big hotel and as we were out so much we didn't get the time to use it or the pool bar, but looked like you needed to nab a sunbed quite early. The wifi was pretty good and didn't have any issues with connectivity. As you are quite a way up the mountain you need to get a shuttle bus to and from the town. They are first in first served so make sure you don't get the times wrong. It was annoying if you wanted to have a leisurely breakfast and go out a bit later as there was a break during lunch times. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the views were stunning but I would definitely stay somewhere closer to town if I was to visit again.
