I would like to ask you what your value is added to the hotel for almost a half month, where I could meet and watch from outside many things that inside the day-to-day running of this kind of business do not see. Then I will talk about your most powerful engine, then your work force. Then the most happy and sympathetic person and that without her we would not eat every morning she is Vera , a professional person in what she knows to do and besides her human warmness that makes her make the difference every day with guests, The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable and very comfortable. All the cleaning staff very friendly. keep the clean rooms and beds well made. Jason the manager little I knew but he is very friendly and he is always very pendant of everything that happens in the hotel.

This is our second stay at this facility and we will definitely be staying at this location for our next visit to the area. The hotel had several large groups during our stay and the staff were tending the desk while others were delivering toweling to guestrooms. Jason was the first staff member we met at check in. He was very attentive and even though people were crowding the desk making demands, he never waivered in his professional and pleasing manner assuring the other guests he would be with them as soon as he had taken care of me. (Some of the guest could have taken a lesson from the staff in how to treat people) Our next encounter was the following morning with Heather at breakfast. Once again large groups do not seem to phase the staff here at this location. Keeping everything stocked and tables wiped was done with fluidity and ease. The morning of our check out we had the pleasure of speaking with Tevin and Evelyn two more exceptional staff members who had taken the time to engage in conversation and insure that our stay was a pleasant one. As a former IHG manager for 24 years you can have the newest building, the most amenities and more to offer your guest, but if you do not have the right staff those things will not matter. This particular TownPlace Suites carries the Marriott name but not the quality. It's very difficult to write a bad Marriott review but this location has a long way to go before it will have you Marriott satisfied. Most of the staff is very nice, I actually stayed for a week last month and locked my keys in my vehicle the day I was to check out. The front desk went out of the way to give me extended access to the room until I was able to gain access to my vehicle. I returned the next week to a completely different experience. There was a fill in staffer that was unable to create reservations and check in guest. I had to remain in my vehicle from 3 am until 7 am when another front desk agent arrived. I asked to use the bathroom in the lobby since I had to wait outside 4 hours. I was told only registered guest could use the lobby restroom. I would have been a registered guest with a room if they had adequate staffing. I literally had to argue with the woman on duty to allow me to use the bathroom since I had to return to my vehicle to sleep. Marriott? Not. I checked out after getting some rest finished my week stay at another hotel just across the street. Better price and better service. But since I am and always will be a Marriott guest, a month later I came back. I reserved for three nights. I always arrive early in the morning and this time I arrived at 3:30 am. The front desk was downloading it's computer so again, I had to wait for service.... Instead of booking my three night reservation I was told to book for one night then rebook the rest of my stay the next morning. The next morning I was advised the hotel was completely sold out and I would not be able to complete my reservation. Asking for management only made the situation worse. All kinds of excuses but no customer service. No accountability. No accommodation. In 30 years I have never called corporate but I had to this time. Then, the general manager started backtracking. Then a room became available, she moved some things around. 30 minutes later too many excuses later... no thank you. I was told I had half hour to vacate the room or I would be charged an additional day as a threat against me contacting the corporate office. To make matters worse, the same general manager modified my folio receipt to make it appear I was checked in for 3 days/2 nights although I was only there 8.5 hours. How was it resolved? Not with more service but with more excuses. I went to a Hilton and finished my reservation. Better price better service and the tvs work. If you are reading this you have been warned. This property does not operate at Marriott level standards. Go anywhere else if you want to be treated like a paying guest.

Upon arrival to departure, my stay and service received were flawless. Some of the reviews stated otherwise but most often sometimes we must experience for ourselves. The location was within a perfect distance from the main meeting area and the area was very safe as some may say otherwise. I am a Bonvoy member who travel often and because of such you see a lot. The checkin was smooth, the agent remained calm and collected as the line begin to grow with the guests’ varying needs. My room was spacious and CLEAN!! First of all, it was CLEAN! Need I say more. Kudos to Housekeeping for checking on my room! Breakfast in the mornings was plentiful and the attendant was attentive and nice ensuring everything was replenished!! Whatever needs or concerns I had were addressed and rectified quickly from the cold water showers to the warmer than usual bedroom temperature to the request to extend our stay.. The GM, Mr Bowers, Justin at the FD and DeMarco in Engineering.. all those I had encounters with.. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE QUICK RESPONSES AND A GREAT WEEKLONG STAY!!

I been going to this hotel for 2 yrs every month for a staycation to get away. This one time hotel guests arguing in hallway disturbing guests cops called. Cops came bck 2nd night banging on guest door wellness check. I stayed 2 nights no rest, noise & scared 1st night for my safety because of arguing in hallway. It's so ghetto there now! I'm told by Mgr or night supervisor I can get refund at checkout or at least half but Mgr Pricilla Harris refused she offered me points but no money back or free night. I always stayed on 2nd floor only once 1st floor. I would have stayed 1 night on 1st floor near entrance ONLY. I believe I'm owed all or half refund for 1 night my rest was disturb I was terrified entire night. It's straight Ghetto now. They lost a loyal customer because I'll never go to that location again at Hampton Park Blvd in Capital Heights MD

The hotel is very clean, the quality that a standard American chain hotel should have. There are small refrigerators, microwaves, and coffee makers in the rooms. Like other American hotels, they do not provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, combs, and slippers, but you can ask the front desk for some. The air-conditioning sound in the room is very soft. The free parking lot is huge. There is a cinema next to it, but it is not open due to the epidemic. There is also a local mall nearby, but it didn't go because of the epidemic. It is worth mentioning that the hotel provides free breakfast. The staple food is changed every day. The restaurant staff will make it for you on the spot. There are waffles with meat patties and egg yolks, as well as fruits that you can pick up and take back to your room. The overall feeling is very good.
