What can I say, a beautiful village, the booking to visit the island of Tavolara with Matteo was very quick apart from the slow connection😅 very professional person, compliments for the whole complex, truly a breathtaking view, I haven't tried your cuisine there, I will definitely do so next time. Compliments.!!!

ull, running rampant by the pool. For lunch, me and three of my group ordered some sandwiches and drinks. Nothing was done right. We ordered still water, we got sparkling. Then the waitress had no idea what drink I wanted, despite it being on the menu. Then they forgot my food but not the others. A disaster. We asked to upgrade our room near the lunch spot at the bistro and the concierge there could Not be bothered to help and get off our phone. Rude as anything. Don’t you have a job to do? Then, to go back to dinner, I’ll tell you—the food is inedible. Lunch food was fine but dinner..I left hungry. Luckily we have booked another hotel for tomorrow—anything to get out of here. Steer clear.

Okay so let's keep this as real as we can. This place is not ideal for people with poor mobility. It's not ideal if looking for little Britain. It is however excellent for beautiful weather, enjoyable food and drink. The rooms well they had all their own food and bad points. The staff were excellent with us. The location isn't particularly central making it isolated however you can taxi it or apparently use the shuttle bus to get to Golfo Aranci.

I will write both the good and the bad. Starting with the important food part. If you do not want to eat with several crying screaming kids do not go, is constant. I got the breakfast and dinner option, the food was not good, very poor quality. Also if u do not arrive at the very beginning of breakfast at 7:30 am and dinner at 7:30 pm., you will not have much available to eat, mostly all is gone, since is a buffet, and the refill happens very badly or not at all. The people on the front desk are awesome and very professional, specially Martina and the hotel vice director Enrico who is always in a good mood and is a joy to speak with. I left a Do Not Disturb sigh on my room door, the cleaning lady from Romania did not knock, just came in and told me she was going to clean my room, I told her she did not need to, she said what I want was not important, she was told to clean it and she was going to😳😳😳😬😬😬, gave me no Option. I was in shock. The beach in this hotel is incredible gorgeous, and a true miracle you do not have to pay for the beach chairs. The hotel is located on a hill but there is constant transportation. The room was ok, the tv very small and the phones did not work at all. The soap options and shampoo are too little, finish fast and are not replaced ever, unless you chase the cleaning ladies and ask for more. If u ask anything at the front desk they were fast to reply and fix the problem fast, minus the telephone. I would not go back.

just got back from this place . the place is really pretty the beach and water amazing the staff are friendly but the management of the place is awful i went sea view plus now plus gives you front loungers on the beach has soon you walk to the front of the beach you are hambushed by staff asking plus only told them 3 times in 3 days that im plus got annoying . the dinner is something from faulty towers its a 4 servings so sometimes waiting half an hour to next meal . but if your italian you sit at the window and served quicker . we was told not to sit at the big window has its resrved all 4 tables at the window was italians you get your table about 5 places back and thats your table for the week . so no changing the breakfast is good help your self no hot water for 2 days was told to let it run for ten mins because other guests might be using it . we told them twice no hot water . and the last dinner before we went home was told that the usual resturant we have dinner in we cannot go to was told i got to options go to the resturant at the top of the village or go to the bistro that was in are our block downstairs so went there and told its out of our package so will have to pay !!! and only doing pizzas and fries parnter was not happy and walked out great ending to suppost to be a relaxing break ( not ) lovely place would go back but not that hotel / village oh if you dont drive your screwed be aware to pay 60 euros one way in a taxi arrrrrr

We had a great experience at the Voi Colonna Hotel. We booked a newly renovated deluxe room with seaview and halfboard. To start with the best: the food especially at dinner was amazing. We were served a 4 course a la carte menu and the selection and quality of the food was amazing. Furthermore the beach is outstanding, there are many beautiful beaches on the island and this for sure ranks as one of them. Yes, the hotel is not the youngest anymore, but the location, food and also the always friendly and attentive staff all make up for it.

A beautiful white Sandy beach, wonderful members of staff (who couldn’t do enough for us), lovely quaint, air conditioned rooms and amazing company, made this little getaway as special as it was. The sunrises were spectacular, food was nice and ambience by the beach at night was very peaceful and calming. My partner and I went for 1 week - half board. We just wanted a relaxing break. Others around us were full board or all inclusive. This makes sense as if you do not have a car, it’s a 10/15 minute drive to the port or anywhere else. We managed to get by at by the beach there were a couple of places to eat at lunchtime … The weather at the end of May was a mixture of sunshine, cloud and a little rain, but what can you do about that other than make the most of your time away. Thank you all for an incredible week away!! Lots of love Desi & Cheryl x

This place is not for the elderly so many steps and slopes which we found difficult. Pool bar was shut so if u need a drink up the stairs and slopes to get one exhausting. No hand rail to help u into pool even tho it is shallow needed my hubby to help me step in and out. We was a.i and restauarant ran out of beer twice this wasnt on tap it was given by the waiter in a jug but the bar under the restaurant had beer but no offer for anyone to go and get us any. Breaky ok but eggs bacon could be hotter need a chef to do the cooking. Lunch and eve was ok always a choice. Room wasnt nice needs refurb. Beach is lovely but no toilets no beach bar only a private one to pay even that shut on our 1st wk so nowhere to get a drink had to walk quite a way to the hotel then u had to pay for drink or food even tho we a.i. this place is far from anything no bus service available and taxi's were expensive. A small boutique on site but manly clothes perhaps b an idea if they sold at least water and few crisps and nibbles. Snacks between meals was olives nuts few crisps thats it. One evening no lights getting back to our room had to put torch on and walk carefully. The staff were lovely and done everything to help. They had a buggy running round the hotel to drop u off to the beach etc but that didnt help when u had to climb or walk to get a drink or to go to the loo. The toilets up at the bar smelt awful we and others reported this many times as sitting having a drink all we could smell was the toilet. The staff were all lovely. We dont recommend this place if you are elderly and jet 2 shoudnt either.

Holiday was excellent. This was our last holiday of the summer and we wanted some relaxation, together with sun and sea. My only criticism was the hot food being served luke-warm on most occasions. Even the soup could have done with being hotter. However the variety made up for it. It would have been a struggle for us if the site had not had a bus service. It is built on a very steep slope with lots of steps. We paid extra for a Superior Room and ours was the last row before the path to the beach, so not too far to walk.

To quote the manager of the hotel “this is a village not a hotel”. Terrible poorly maintained place. I would advise anyone with any sense to avoid it. For English visitors I would basically advise you only to book this hotel if you like an expensive version of Butlins. The breakfast and dinners are poor. The food is often lukewarm when served. The best item in the hotel is the cappuccinos in the morning. The beach is small and over crowded with everyone sitting on top of each other. The bar is expensive for the cheap quality booze they serve. The gym is an experience: basically some rusted pieces of broken equipment in an outdoor patio. Book this place at your peril.

Steep location, steps and no hand rails for support. Jet2 Holidays should have known better than to recommend this holiday to us. Several of the British guests who were also elderly or infirm complained of the same issues. No support on the steep steps down from one level to the next. They were almost 5 different levels from the top reception down to the beach! Even the pools had no grab rails. Another holidaymakers slipped and fell on the steps and ended up with multiple compound fractures on his hand and had to go to hospital! Hence, this is not a holiday that should be recommended for older people. Only the very young and very fit people. The holiday itself as a result is in a beautiful location and the weather was fine. Above all the staff there although they spoke very little English were very kind very helpful and did their absolute best to make us feel comfortable.

We arrived late on a Saturday evening around 10:30pm. By the time the driver found the beach hotel (it's an annex right at the back of the hotel), it was nearer 11 by the time we checked in. We were given a map and a vague overview of the hotel. We were hungry and (as we were all inclusive) fancied a drink before bed. AI is only available until 11pm, so if we wanted anything, a gin and tonic was €12 each. The bar in the annex closed shortly after, so we had to traipse up the hill to the central bar. Food was a tub of crisps donated to us by our dear friends. It wasn’t clear what we actually got with our AI and the food and drink differed between bars and restaurants. Unclear what drinks we could have where and No consistency. We were a group of four and on the following evening (24 hours later), when we arrived in the restaurant, we were told that we should have been allocated a table, but weren't. There was no table so we had to sit four on a table for two. That was rectified the following day, but on our last day, at lunchtime, the table we had been allocated was removed and split for someone else. We ended up being in the corner out-of-the-way. The restaurant is understaffed and run by adolescents who are poorly managed, trying to do their best. Keeping with the restaurant theme, the food was ok. However there was a very obvious preference for the Italian residents over anyone else. Portion sizes, choosing who gets served, quality of what goes on the plate, all made us feel we were being treated as second class. I must mention Christian: He was mostly on the main course/meat fish section. He definitely gave us second class treatment and had a knack of slopping food onto our plates, either from a great height or long distance. I had a plate of pork fat given to me on one sitting. The tap water was not drinkable. There is no provision of bottled water and therefore the only water available was in a plastic cup (erm, they promote their eco footprint) or in bottles at breakfast or dinner. We were actually told-off for filling our bottles at breakfast. It became a farce, where one would keep watch while the others filled cups with water and decanted into drinking bottles. Furthermore, there was no drinking water available at the beach. There was no iron and no kettle in the rooms (not that we had much drinking water). When we asked for an iron, we were told a flat (ha ha) no. The cost for a kettle was €50 deposit. The soap was interesting. It was a box of tablets and it was a bit like trying to wash with an alka-seltzer and lasted just as long. We had to go out to buy hand soap and shower gel Sun beds: There are five rows on the sea, then several rows further back. The front three are supposedly allocated to the superior rooms. However we were not allowed to use the beds near the sea despite it being late afternoon and there were many spare. On several days, there were many beds free and ironically several occu

Never more. Very bad experience, for sure not a 4 stars as it is presented. Restoration very poor, repetitive and food presentation not adequate. Room old and inadequate. Animation team inadequate. Never more.
