The staff, food and facilities were amazing. The staff were very helpful and friendly and allowed us to just do our thing. Being from New Zealand, the breakfast was a bit overwhelming in the best possible way. There was a great selection of local food to try just for breakfast. Only misses out on a five because the rooms were small and cramped for two people.

Good hotel , Decent location, very quiet side of Rome, Probably like a 20-30 min walk from the main center city and not too far from bus stops. Beds were good , Rooms are very small. Staff was realtively friendly, small and for the most part rooms were clean. Breakfast is okay but without variety and small Area for restaurant . I would rate the hotel as okay but nothing special.

Good location for the hotel if you don’t mind a walk into Rome. Room was nice but sound proofing awful, despite it saying on the site I booked that there was sound proofing and one of the reasons I picked it. Breakfast a bit basic but ok. No drink making facilities in the room which is not great if you want a drink before you get dressed etc. Staff could barely manage a smile unfortunately. Also didn’t seem to want to prepare drinks for us at ‘the bar’. We were ignored and then when drinks were served it made us feel like an inconvenience. I wouldn’t stay here again.

On the positive side, the hotel had comfortable beds that meant we had a good night's sleep. Additionally, the ambiance was peaceful and quiet, breakfast was basic but ok. However, the standout feature of this hotel was undoubtedly its downfall - the staff. Unfortunately, they appeared disinterested and displayed a lack of courtesy. When faced with issues, their attitude was dismissive and bordering on rude. This detracted significantly from the overall enjoyment of the stay.

This hotel was quite a nice stay, we had a room with a nice shower and it was very pretty with comfortable beds. Only issues with the room was no power points near the bed to charge devices overnight, and the room was slightly smaller than necessary for two suitcases, but other than that it was fantastic and the staff were very nice during check in/out, aside from the confusion as I had paid for minibar drinks but they had tried to charge me for those drinks during checkout, this was resolved extremely quickly and easily though and did not delay us in the slightest. Will stay again at this hotel as it was very nice!

The hotel was nice and nicely decorated. Rooms were relatively big and comfortable. They had a great shower soap. The only strange thing we found were two devices in the bedroom and in the bathroom. They look like cameras! Please check the attached photos. Perhaps the Hotel management would like to explain what are they?

So upon reading the reviews the hotel is rated 4 star so thought not a bad price £169 for 2 nights we booked 2 rooms as we came out with friends from the airport fco to hotel it was a fixed €60 fee the hotel looked grand on the outside very roman style however the rooms were a let down!!! Literally opened the door and the bed is there small room bathroom was ok size shower was small water pressure were fine and plenty of hot water the hand towel in the bathroom is literally a napkin!! And the towels were ok the room was very warm but we opened up the windows and it was cool enough Now the reviews on breakfast ppl stating lovely breakfast!!! It was pitiful terrible!! Cups too small literally a buffet breakfast the hot food consist of scrambled eggs and bacon and was stone cold and vile the boiled eggs weren’t even cooked properly (ppl must have gone to worse hotels thinking this was brilliant) Small room and certainly not what to expect the only thing was bread cold meats which was ok The hotel itself is fairly central to the colosseum roughly 20-25 min walk easy enough to get too this hotel does not Warrant a 4* it’s more of a 2*

Nice comfortable clean hotel, quiet location. Air con in rooms which was very welcome. Buffet breakfast. Small bar near reception if you wanted a drink sadly no courtyard. Good restaurants within 5 minutes walk.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. We stayed there Nov 7-9 and returned Nov 23-25. We were greeted with a welcome back, it’s so nice to see you again. The breakfast was better than any Choice property we have stayed at previously. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I selected this hotel because the historic ambiance appealed to me, the location was great, the price was reasonable, and breakfast was included! I also thought the name was special. The hotel is tucked away on a quiet street near the Borghese park. Yes, we did enjoy our Rome visit in the pretty boutique Hotel Principessa Isabella. All of the staff were very cordial and helpful. Our upper floor room had lovely decor and was quite comfortable. There is an elevator which made carrying large bags very easy. I was very satisfied with the level of security and privacy, and all included amenities. The breakfast room is near the lobby, and it was convenient to eat quickly in the morning and choose from a wide assortment of items. There is also a little bar, but the lobby area is a bit tiny for socializing. This is a very good choice for a mid-range hotel in Rome, although the location does require a bit more walking to reach some of the most popular Rome sights.

I visited Rome with a friend. I had great time sightseeing. I was very pleased with this hotel. Vincenzo at the front desk was extremally helpful. He helped us with directions to different sites. I would come back and i would recommend Hotel Principessa Isabella to everyone.

Air conditioning is very poor and basically doesn’t work. Really consider staying here in summer as their is just a basic controller in the room that allows you to operate speed but no temperature control so the rooms are stifling at night. Hotel staff were non responsive to queries to resolve.

I have been traveling for many years, for pleasure and for work from Brasil to Bali or from Tokyo to New York. I had the opportunity to stay from the top notch hotels to really cheap ones. This wasn't my first visit in the Italy, but I have never faced such arrogant, rude and unpleasant service at the desk even in those countries who are not known for good service. Everyone can have a bad day, but to shout at the customer and tell him what do you expect, you use our towel our bed and water, so you will pay the taxes, because this is Italy? Of course, the taxes will be paid, but by my manager, not myself. He was just interrupting me all the time and didn't listened what is the sollution for this problem. This is not acceptable. People at the desk is your face and represents your company and sometimes even country. The receptionist who was working on 20th on March this monday morning should be revisited if he has bare minimum skills to work with people. If you hate your clients that much that you have to serve and can't hold your temper, it should be clear that this job is not for you. This is a 4 star hotel, most of the hotels for service and responses like this would fire their staff immediately. Sometimes misunderstandings happen, we all know that, but I would highly recommend not to choose this hotel to save your time and energy on a places where they have standards how to work with customers and handle non-standard situations. Why? What does this service translate to me as the customer? If the hotel doesn't have customer service standards or doesn't care, what else it could be there that they don't care? There is plenty of hotels in Rome to choose from.

Nice accommodation!The location of the hotel was very good. The staff was kind. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Everything was great! I would love to come back again and I will recommend it to friends.
