everything was ok. experienced ruined on checkout. tried to charge us again for an extra person that has actually already paid. then we realised later that we had overpaid for the city tax and been short changed a considerable amount. watch your cash on checkout

Stayed here for 3 nights. We had a lovely time . Hotel is very cute. We were in the garden patio area just to right of main door and it was a beautiful area. Rooms were clean breakfast everything you need to set you up for the day, there is a lovely patio area where you can sit for breakfast if the weather is nice. Very helpful and friendly staff.

This hotel is a little off the beaten track, but it was lovely. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms have started to be updated, but to be honest, the room was clean, and we only sleot there as we did not want to miss anything. This was a break away for my birthday, and we loved it. There is plenty to see, but take your time. There is no rush if you are there for three days. We walked everywhere and we managed to find all the atrations. Watch out for the young men, giving you friendship bracelets near the atractuons. They are after your money. Just say no. We would definitely go back and to the Rome Garden Hotel.

Lovely hotel and staff We’ve just returned from a 3 night stay. We had a triple room. The room was 100m down the road in another building but this didn’t bother us. Yes the rooms are small and the walls paper thin but this didn’t ruin it for us as we were busy out and about. Room was cleaned daily and fresh towels every day Breakfast was very nice and always left full Staff are super friendly and helpful. They arranged a private transfer direct to the hotel from airport and back again You can store your luggage. Lovely restaurants and cafes in the roads opposite We walked everywhere(apart from to the Vatican) took 20-25 mins to walk to the trevi fountain/ Spanish steps - we ran there every morning for 6am 50min walk to the colosseum Would return again as I liked how it was away from the busy streets

The hotel is conveniently located with easy bus and Metro links into the centre. Our room was in the 'garden'. Not really a garden in the English sense of the word, but a pleasant courtyard with seats and flowers in pots. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. We ate ours outside on the terrace but it could also be had inside. The bed was huge and comfy in a good sized room. The only negative point was that the air-con didn't get cold. As the weather wasn't hot I didn't bring this to the attention of the management. Recommended - good value in a city where hotels are expensive

I can't see why this hotel has such a mixed press, I for one wasn't impressed by being in an annex building prior to arrival how ever once we arrived and were shown to the building it was absolutely no problem secure ,clean, modern rooms and bathrooms the staff we all very polite to us the room was serviced daily. The bed was very comfortable the a/c was very much needed and worked amazing. Breakfast was very good a decent selection and plentiful. The location was good we had some amazing food just across the road and there are a number of shops and restaurants also close. It takes about 25 mins to walk to the centre of rome but if you want a taxi it's about 15 euros the hotel calls them for you so are reputable. The annex building is quite literally 2 minutes walk.

We stayed Hear in November on a girls 5day break away. When we pulled up outside this hotel looked lovely just like the picture. BUT!!! we was taken to our room we had booked a quadruple deluxe room which we paid extra for when booking there was 4 of us so booked a bigger room. We were then taken 10 min down the road to some clapped out building up 3 flight of stairs.there was a lift but it was that small we could not even get in the lift with our cases.mind u that was with just one person in the lift so had to carry them all up the stairs with no help from the man taking us.got to the room and it was so small with 2 singles pushed together and a tiny bed settee we had to get on the bed to get past the other one tiny. Not what we had booked at all.we went to reception to complain and said this is not what we had booked and asked if we could change rooms as it was so tiny and was spoken to very rudely by the hotel manager and way basically told tough not their problem take it up with our booking agent. We were so disappointed with the whole thing. We went off to enjoy what we had come for Rome. I would NOT recommend this hotel to any one the if you want the pretty boutique looking hotel that is in there picture's and friendly staff u will be very disappointed. The front entrance is about all u get.

Stayed at this hotel at the beginning of April as part of a Birthday trip booked by my OH. The hotel is around a 20 min walk from the main terminal, so if you have lots of luggage it might be worth getting a taxi to the hotel. The hotel from the outside is super pretty. Our room wasn’t ready, so had to wait an hour, but they happily stored our cases and we got to explore the local area. We found a restaurant to sit outside and have a beer before wandering back via the supermarket which is nearby for snacks and drinks for the room. We were allocated 501 which is a second floor room, overlooking the courtyard/garden. Next to our room we had the cutest mini fish pond with fish and turtles in it, which was lovely to see when we came and went from the hotel. The room was ideal for 2 people, lots of room for baggage to be stowed away & the bathroom was clean and tidy. Shower pressure and temperature is brilliant at all times of the day. Minimal noise in room 501 from the next room & some noise from the road, but none that you wouldn’t expect from a city hotel. Breakfast is described as an American buffet breakfast, but is more continental which suited me and my OH fine. There is lots of choice, but not much of a hot buffet but still lots to fill you up before a full day of activities. The breakfast room is a bit of a squeeze at times, but luckily there is outside seating was available at the time of visiting so there was plenty of room for everyone to sit either inside or out. The hotel is around a 20 minute brisk walk from the main attraction but we found using the Lime bikes easy to use and convenient to pick up and drop off when needed. From the signs/info in reception it looks like you can book trips through them, but we didn’t use this service. We did however book a transfer to the airport via hotel reception for €60 as we had an early flight and did not want to rely on public transport. This can be paid in cash or card & it was a super easy way of getting to the airport. We found that being away from the main hustle and bustle of the city was ideal. The prices for food within the nearby restaurants were reasonable compared to around main attractions and the location was very chilled and quiet. Overall, a beautiful hotel in an outskirt location of Rome with friendly staff. Would happily stay here again when visiting Rome, as well as recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Location of this hotel cannot be faulted. 2 min walk up the road to a crossroads and you can get a direct bus to the majority of the main attractions using Google Maps. Hotel was clean and our bed was comfy slept well, we did take ear plugs as it's a City lots of Sirens etc. Bathroom small but clean and clean towels, bed made daily. I would say it would benefit from a kettle in the room to make hot drinks. Breakfast is very basic but we found enough to eat daily. The hotel can arrange a taxi transport back to the airport if required. We just got a bus to the Termini and then a train to the airport. They were always very helpful and polite. Please note you will be asked to pay a local charge of €6 pp per night directly to the hotel. We were not aware of this so adds up on your bill.

We stayed here for a 3 night stay. The hotel is a 3 star so is exactly what you would expect. It looks beautiful and authentic from the outside. It is conveniently located and it took us 15 mins to walk to Trevi fountain and Spanish steps. I had read some poor reviews about the breakfast and could not understand why as there is plenty of choice. It’s continental and there is something for everyone. The walls are quite thin but at the end of the day it was a base to sleep and we were out all day and evening discovering the amazing city of Rome. Would definitely stay there again.

When the taxi pulled up outside both myself and my partner looked at the hotel and thought it was really cute. The receptionist was helpful and pointed us in the direction of our room. We entered the room and it looked nothing like the photos but not letting that ruin our trip, we dropped our bags off and went straight out to explore Rome. On our return that evening we went to have a shower and when I say it was the most disgusting shower I have ever seen in my life. The amount of mould down the silicone seal was unbelievable (Photo attached). I paid a small fortune to stay here for mine and my partners anniversary and the hotel was nowhere up to the standard that it should be in. Instead of a double bed, we had two singles pushed together and they kept separating which was really annoying too. The next morning we went for breakfast and there wasn’t much choice at all. We had a choice of hard pastries, yogurts, fruit and some toast. If it wasn’t for my partner, I would have asked for a refund and gone to another hotel but she didn’t want it to ruin our trip as we were only there for 3 nights. We mentioned it to reception and they just looked at us as if it was no surprise. No offer to live us or compensate us so we just carried on and tried our best to enjoy our last 2 days.

Conveniently dituated hotel on bus route within a 1.5 m walking distance of main attractions- surrounded by restaurants & shops- Pros- quiet at night, lovely sitting room, friendly welcoming staff, warm cosy rooms, modern downstairs, good breakfast options, lovely garden, lift, clean, daily room clean Cons- small dining room, dated rooms, toilet flush takes getting used too, thin walls- overall positives, i would stay here again, great for a city break 😊

Very disappointed, we paid to stay in the Rome Garden Hotel but we were taken to Hotel Garden a street away, I knew there was an annex but this was no annex! The room was clean, but was a nuisance having to walk down the street to go for breakfast and back again, inconvenient. Would not stay again, which is a shame as the main hotel looked nice.

Nice hotel friendly staff, fair sized bed room but bathroom quite small. Clean hotel all around the hotel does not have a bar but a small room for breakfast, there is a lovely court yard that would be used in warmer months, nice buffet breakfast good selection of food
