The hotel is a former monastery and revamped. Its garden is nice and the breakfast can be served there. The restaurant at basement is a surprise. The tables are placed to give high privacy. Recommend to have a dinner in this restaurant.

The hotel is located in a quiet area of Trastevere, it used to be a monastery and it has been renovated with impeccable taste. Rooms are spacious and clean, the terrace is an absolute marvel with a stunning view over the eternal city. The internal private garden is ideal for drinks with friends and family.

A quaint, quiet, quintessential Roman retreat:) I would most definitely stay here again and recommend others to do the same! Unique in so many ways (I’ll let you discover just how many for yourself). Just know that this hotel and the immediate environs of Trasvestere will be a unique experience and you will be well looked after by the lovely staff. Perfect hotel in a quiet location in Trastevere. Close to tourist attractions on foot. Very elegant room, bathroom with very clean, functional shower. Varied continental breakfast

The view is the best. In particular, the executive sea view seems to be the best in Fira Village. However, there is no soundproofing, so you can hear everyone drinking and screaming at dawn. Pick-up service is good (but expensive at 50 euros)

It was a fantastic stay, and I loved the location. It is in the middle of an area with very nice restaurants, pizzas and cafes. I would stay there again.

Second time at Donna Savelli, this time as a family and it was just as memorable as the first. Rome is an amazing place already but to have such a unique place to stay really is the icing on a fabulous holiday.

What a beautiful place in Rome… Absolutely recommend this hotel. It was original, authentic, friendly, clean, comfortable. Wonderful continental breakfast and outstanding restaurant for an evening meal.

We were given a room at the back of the hotel and when I washed my face, sink got flooded and then when I looked outside the window it was facing the kitchen or back of the hotel wasn’t very pleasant, but when I spoken to the Hotel Receptionist, she change the room to a fourth floor, very lovely room with a view. Compared to other hotels, all the rooms in this hotel were small due to being a nice old building with a history and its own chapel. Staff were very helpful and understanding. Breakfast was very tasty and good.

The staff was amazing, very attentive and welcoming. Breakfast gets an A and location is great for walking in Rome.

The hotel was within walking distance to restaurants and to the Pantheon and Trevi fountain. Stayed there twice during our trip to Rome.
