The room is too cold and there is no air conditioning. There are no disposable items such as slippers and toothbrushes. The cafe is close to the roadside and the scenery is nice.

Pros: The room is clean and cleaned up in a timely manner. The breakfast is good, and the steak in the restaurant on the first floor can be slightly expensive.
Cons: No elevator.
However, there are few old hotels in the UK with elevators.

The staff were lovely, especially the restaurant staff in the morning for breakfast. There was a lovely lady serving breakfast who remembered what we had each morning and made sure we had everything we needed.
The room was clean but could do with a bit of an update.

The room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was great - fresh fruits salad, cheese, ham, bread or hot cooked English breakfast. Great access to the Canterbury city centre.

This is a really great hotel. The service was excellent and particularly friendly from all staff. Reception was very helpful with helping our group with an early check in, our bags were dropped into our respective rooms. Nice large bar & dining area. With just a 10 minute walk into the town centre this suited our group perfectly.
